RED DEER, Alberta /ScoopCloud/ -- Anow, developer of appraisal firm management software that simplifies the way real estate appraisers manage their businesses, will hold its inaugural user conference September 30 on day one of Valuation Expo, the nation's largest appraiser conference. Held at the historic Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, Anow's inaugural user conference will offer attendees three hours of programming, demonstrations of ground-breaking appraisal office management technology, expert thought leadership and peer networking opportunities.
"Hosting Anow's user conference in partnership with Valuation Expo offers a timely opportunity for independent appraisers to learn about technology and business strategies that will position them for success as the demand for faster, less expensive appraisals continues to accelerate," said Anow Founder and CEO Mary Haldane. "Both appraisers new to Anow and Anow super-users will walk away from these sessions inspired and better equipped to reach elevated business goals."
Anow User Conference 2019 will kick off at 1 p.m. with a keynote delivered by Flagstar Bank's Chief Residential Appraiser Tony Reese on "The ART and Science of the Modern Appraisal."
At 1:20 p.m., Anow Founder and CEO Marty Haldane will take the stage to discuss how technology is transforming residential property appraisals. Attendees will also witness the unveiling of the two newest additions to the Anow technology suite: the Anow Mobile Inspection app and Anow NEXUS.
At 2:10 p.m., veteran appraisers Mark Skapinetz of What's It Worth Appraisal Services, Sandy Matthes of Lightning Appraisals and Leigh Walker of Lawrenson Walker Real Estate Appraisers will discuss how they have leveraged Anow to expedite appraisal turn times and grow their independent appraisal businesses. The panel will be followed by an audience Q&A.
The final session, "Re-imagining AMC-Appraiser Relationships," will run from 3:05-3:50 p.m. Executives from the nation's largest independent appraisal management company (AMC) and the nation's leading appraisal firm will share their vision for transforming previously adversarial relationships into collaborative partnerships through the use of technology. This salon-style discussion will feature Rick Hiton, COO of Accurity Valuation, Matthew Scott, executive vice president of operations at Nations Valuation Services and Anow COO Keith Ellis as moderator.
