The Fear Free(SM) training and certification program aids veterinarians and their staff in providing a safe and comfortable environment for pets that reduces fear and anxiety during visits. The veterinary practice enjoys the distinction of being one of the most highly certified Fear Free(SM) providers in the state of Ohio.

"It is common for pets to feel anxious when they are taken to a veterinarian," explains Dr. Ken Brunson, Associate Veterinarian at TCVH. "Having a way to reduce these negative feelings helps us serve our patients better. We are dedicated to serving our pets with care and compassion, so we wanted to do everything we could to make them feel safe."

To become certified, Tipp City Veterinary Hospital staff completed an intensive, 8-part educational course and exam. They will also take continuing education to remain certified.
