Fort Worth Company Donates ‘Made in America’ N95 Masks to Salvation Army

FORT WORTH, Texas /ScoopCloud/ -- Fort Worth-based company United States Mask is on a mission to make the holidays a little brighter and safer for community members who need it the most. At 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 22, the United States Mask team will donate more than a thousand N95 particulate respirators to the Salvation Army of North Texas. With the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, the company is making sure that Salvation Army volunteers and children and families in need have the best protection available.

The integrity of the product they are giving is of utmost importance to United States Mask co-founders John Bielamowicz and David Baillargeon. Their N95 respirator is certified by the CDC's National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. The product is also sourced and made exclusively in the United States, eliminating reliance on overseas supply chains. Using state-of-the-art technology and custom machinery, the N95 masks are part of the founders' commitment to bring manufacturing of personal protective equipment back to the U.S.

Built on the idea that masks should be made in America for Americans, Bielamowicz and Baillargeon started their company in April of 2020 when the pair saw that a limited supply of PPE was forcing healthcare personnel, first responders and front-line workers to reuse N95 respirators that had been imported from around the world. Finding the situation unacceptable, the business partners set out on a mission to ensure that individuals have access to N95s that are trustworthy and dependable.

"This is a difficult time for many people, and organizations like the Salvation Army are still continuing with their mission," said Baillargeon. "This donation is just a small way we can help to make sure these brave women and men are able to stay safe during this holiday season."

Purchasing options for United States Mask's N95 particulate respirators are available in quantities suitable for both small and large organizations. For more information or to place an order, visit https://www.unitedstatesmask.com/.

Capital Chevrolet Goes to Bat for The Salvation Army

RALEIGH, N.C. /ScoopCloud/ -- Capital Chevrolet is partnering with The Salvation Army in Raleigh. Capital Chevrolet has joined forces with the national Chevrolet Youth Baseball program to provide new equipment, invitations to FREE instructional clinics, and an opportunity for community members to earn donations for their league via a Test Drive fundraiser.

"Playing the game of baseball helps kids develop skills like leadership, cooperation and sportsmanship while bringing families and communities together to show their support. Capital Chevrolet and Chevrolet Youth Baseball are proud to participate in a sport that brings so many smiles to kids and families in Raleigh," said Richard Cholerton, Inventory Manager for Capital Chevrolet. "Chevrolet believes that in play there are possibilities and supports the spirit of teamwork that baseball instills in its players."

2018 marks Chevrolet's Youth Baseball program's 13th year, and since its introduction has helped aid local teams, benefiting more than 12.4 million young people in communities where Chevrolet's customers live, work, and play. In 2017, more than 1,500 Chevrolet dealers participated across the country.

Capital Chevrolet will present an equipment kit that includes useful items such as backpacks, scorebooks, industrial-strength batting tees, ball buckets and T-shirts. The sponsorship also includes youth clinics featuring current and former MLB/MiLB players and coaches, or instructors from Ripken Baseball.

In addition, Capital Chevrolet will present a check representing a one-time monetary contribution to The Salvation Army. Sponsored leagues across the country will have the chance to earn additional funds as community members take test drives at their partnering dealership to help support the league.

In addition to its commitment to youth baseball, Chevrolet also is the Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball(tm).

"Chevrolet vehicles are designed and built for families, as they are safe and fun, so we encourage young people and their parents to make a Chevrolet the official vehicle of their household," said Cholerton.
