Originally assembled in Northern California to showcase a comedic perspective long ignored by mainstream entertainment, CWDA has performed for thousands of audiences of all abilities at colleges, comedy clubs, corporate events, and everywhere in between. Now, they’re hitting the road once again — bringing laughter, insight, and bold storytelling to three states while raising funds for their upcoming comedy docu-special titled “Comedians with Disabilities Act: Going Beyond the Punchlines.”

The film will spotlight 10 comedians with a variety of disabilities, capturing both their on-stage brilliance and the real-life experiences behind the humor. Several of the featured comedians will be performing live during this spring run, offering audiences a preview of the powerful voices and unforgettable personalities that will appear in the documentary.

This Springs tour weaves theaters, colleges and community venues to showcase the talents of 11 comedians, many of whom are in the docu-special, across 7 venues (with even more to come!). Disability representation for this season’s tour includes a diverse group of comedians and perspective from lived experiences as individuals with visible and nonapparent disabilities.

Integrated Comfort Expands Operations and Develops Enhanced Monitoring and Controls Internet Dashboard

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Jan. 21, 2016 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Integrated Comfort, Inc. (ICI) has expanded. In June 2015, ICI moved from Vacaville, Calif. to a larger office and production facility in West Sacramento, Calif. ICI also opened a facility in Phoenix, Arizona to provide manufacturing and logistical support in one of our higher concentration areas for DualCool installations.

Between July 2015 and January 2016, ICI completed the installation of DualCool(R) evaporative pre-coolers on 100 more Walmart and Sam's Club stores. Each of these stores now has DualCool equipment on six or more 10- to 20-ton rooftop HVAC units (RTUs) that supply dedicated fresh air into the stores. Installations were in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, Nevada, and California. The 2015 program is the fourth major series of DualCool installations for Walmart.

The current campaign with Walmart takes DualCool efficiency, maintenance, and ease-of-use to a whole new level with monitoring and controls. For this program, ICI added remote monitoring and control technology with a web-based (dashboard) platform viewable from any browser, smartphone, or tablet. Remote monitoring outputs include fault detection, which can report general HVAC problems on DualCool-equipped RTUs before store conditions are affected.

Working with Transformative Wave, ICI customized an enhanced controls solution for Walmart. Equipment includes a microcontroller installed on each of the DualCool-enabled RTUs, as well as each Air Handling Unit (AHU), when present. One microcontroller per building functions as the Master Controller. This unit is located near the "global" outdoor air thermostat used to activate all DualCool units at an adjustable temperature setpoint. The Master Controller is the Wi-Fi communication hub between all DualCool controllers onsite.

In addition to managing the DualCool pump, these microcontrollers manage a number of interlocks between DualCool and key RTU components and can continuously adjust to supply outdoor air in the most efficient manner.

Preparation Beyond the Normal for Greater Bay and Sacramento Areas Miss California Ladies

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov. 18, 2015 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Beauty pageants are sometimes criticized for being overly competitive, cut throat and an advantage to the wealthy due to high costs of preparing for and participating in the pageant, says Stephanie Farrell of Miss Greater Bay Area, Calif. California's state pageant, owned and operated by Top 10 Productions of Southern California, works with several independent regional directors who host preliminary pageants that qualify contestants for the Miss California USA(R) and Miss California TEEN USA(R) pageants. The 2016 state pageant will be held in Long Beach, California from December 4-6, 2015.

Northern California Regional Director, Stephanie Farrell, is working to debunk what she calls a myth about pageants as she helps advance nine northern California women who are running for 2016 Miss California USA(R) and Miss California Teen USA(R). Cory Chalmers, of Hoarders TV Show, makes a special guest appearance at TICA Cat Show in Sacramento

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Dec. 22, 2014 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- TV Star and lead expert of the hit cable television show "Hoarders," Cory Chalmers, will be making a special guest appearance at the TICA Cat Show January 2, 3 and 4, 2015 in Sacramento, Calif. This year's show is called "Mardi Gras Madness" and is presented by Jazzy Cats.

Cory Chalmers has been a longtime advocate for animal welfare. Unlike what is sometimes depicted in his television show "Hoarders" Cory believes that cats, as well as all animals, should be raised in a safe, clean and humane environment.
