Argyle extends its mortgage verification experience to the wholesale channel with the launch of a broker-branded borrower experience

Brokers can now offer proven direct-source income, employment and asset verification under their own name

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., Sept. 16, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle, the leading consumer-permissioned verification platform, today announced the launch of a new solution that enables wholesale mortgage lenders to extend income, employment, and asset verification across their broker networks with a broker-branded borrower experience. The solution is available through Argyle’s Verification API as well as through Encompass® TPO Connect from ICE Mortgage Technology®.

argyle logo
Image caption: Argyle logo.

Argyle’s verification experience is already used by retail mortgage lenders to move borrowers through income, employment and asset verification in minutes. Extending that same experience to wholesale requires accounting for a different relationship: the broker, not the lender, is the borrower’s primary point of contact. Argyle’s new solution preserves that relationship by including the broker’s name and contact information in verification invites, so borrowers recognize who the request came from and know exactly who to contact with questions.

While the experience reflects the broker relationship, the process behind it is unchanged. Borrowers share their income, employment and asset data straight from the payroll or bank source, and the lender receives GSE-approved direct-source documentation to underwrite the file. Where payroll and banking connectivity isn’t available, brokers can offer document-based income verification within the same flow.

For wholesale lenders using Argyle’s Verification API or Encompass TPO Connect, the new solution delivers:

  • Faster turn times to clear to close: Standardized, direct-source documentation supports cleaner files, reducing underwriting follow-up and back-and-forth with brokers and borrowers.
  • One setup across the broker channel: A single configuration generates broker-specific invites, eliminating the need to build or maintain a separate setup for each broker.
  • A more competitive offering for brokers — Lenders can offer brokers a lower-cost verification option than they absorb today, with document-based income verification available as a fallback.

For brokers, it delivers:

  • Broker-branded borrower communications: Verification invites include the broker’s name and contact information, so the broker remains the borrower’s point of contact throughout the process.
  • Lower verification costs: Brokers can access consumer-permissioned verification at a lower price point than traditional verification options.
  • Less back-and-forth: Direct-source verification can reduce document collection and follow-up, helping brokers move loans forward faster.

“Wholesale is a part of the mortgage market we’ve wanted to serve well for a long time,” said John Hardesty, chief revenue officer at Argyle. “Brokers have earned the trust and relationships they build with borrowers, and now they can offer the same fast, direct-source verification experience under their own name while wholesale lenders extend Argyle across their broker networks.”

“Consistency creates a smoother path from application to closing,” said Rebecca Erb, AVP product manager at PwrTPO. “When income, employment, and asset documentation comes back the same way every time, our underwriters spend less time on follow-up requests and more time clearing loans. Giving our TPO partners a streamlined validation experience that includes their name in borrower communications, reduces documentation, and comes at a lower cost creates real value for both our partners and their borrowers.”

The broker-branded borrower experience is available now to wholesale mortgage lenders through Argyle’s Verification API or through Encompass TPO Connect. Wholesale lenders can learn more or contact us to get started at argyle.com/contact-sales.

Argyle and The BIG Point of Sale named 2026 Connections Award winners by PROGRESS in Lending

Recognized for embedding payroll-based VOIE directly into the mortgage origination workflow through ICE Mortgage Technology's Encompass Partner Connect

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., July 22, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle, the leading consumer-permissioned verification platform, and The BIG Point of Sale today announced they have been named winners of the 2026 Connections Award by PROGRESS in Lending. The award honors the most impactful partnerships, integrations and acquisitions advancing the mortgage industry, recognizing the companies for an integration that embeds verification of income and employment (VOIE) directly into the loan origination process through ICE Mortgage Technology’s Encompass Partner Connect® framework.

argyle logo
Image caption: argyle logo.

“Being named a Connections Award winner alongside Argyle validates the approach we’ve taken from day one: verification should happen where the loan is actually originated, not as a separate step borrowers and processors have to manage on the side,” said Jerry Melia, president at The BIG Point of Sale. “This recognition reflects the work our team has put into making that experience feel seamless for lenders and borrowers alike.”

“Argyle empowers consumers to securely share data directly from their payroll and other income-related accounts with authorized lenders,” said John Hardesty, senior vice president of revenue at Argyle. “Lenders can embed income and employment verification directly into The BIG Point of Sale, accessing direct-source data earlier in the process and eliminating the manual back-and-forth that has historically slowed things down for borrowers and operations teams.”

Income and employment verification has historically been one of the more manual, time-consuming and expensive parts of the mortgage process. Borrowers are typically required to locate and upload paystubs, W-2s and other documentation, while lenders spend additional time chasing missing information, following up and re-entering data across systems.

With Argyle, The BIG Point of Sale integration changes that by making verification a natural part of the borrower application experience. Loan officers can initiate VOIE requests from The BIG Point of Sale on any device during or after the application process. Borrowers can easily share their real-time income and employment data through consumer-directed payroll connections— no document uploads required. After completing the Argyle connection flow, required data including VOIE, paystubs and W-2s is returned in real time and automatically posted to the Encompass eFolder through native Encompass Partner Connect functionality and workflow automation rules.

The integration also supports GSE-eligible verification data and reference IDs within the same workflow. As an authorized supplier for Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter® validation service and an approved service provider for Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor® asset and income modeler (AIM), Argyle enables lenders to access direct-source data and GSE reference IDs without leaving the point-of-sale environment or reordering a VOIE through separate systems.

The business impact of the integration is already visible in the field. Since embedding Argyle into the borrower workflow within The BIG Point of Sale, Absolute Home Mortgage increased its automated verification success rate from 10% to 48%. The lender reduced reliance on processor intervention and manual borrower follow-up while improving file completeness entering underwriting—with nearly half of loans submitted for underwriting already including paystubs and W-2s synced through Fannie Mae’s Day 1 Certainty® framework.

Key benefits lenders gain through the integration:

  • Speed: Payroll-connected VOIE data arrives in Encompass in real time, reducing delays between application and underwriting.
  • Cost reduction: Automated payroll-based VOIE can significantly reduce verification costs compared to legacy database-driven services.
  • GSE support: Lenders can qualify for representations and warranties relief through the same workflow, helping reduce repurchase risk exposure.
  • Better borrower experience: Borrowers complete verification from a mobile device in minutes rather than gathering and submitting paper documents.

Argyle expands consent-based verification platform for state government agencies with new benefits-focused capabilities

Enhanced solution active in 10+ states brings new reporting, reauthentication and employer search features as H.R. 1 tightens benefits eligibility verification timelines

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., June 2, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle, the leading consent-based verification (CBV) platform, today announced significant enhancements to its government verification solution that bring new capabilities to state agencies responsible for determining applicant eligibility for Medicaid, SNAP, TANF and related benefits programs.

argyle logo
Image caption: Argyle, the leading consent-based verification (CBV) platform.

The update arrives as states face mounting pressure from H.R. 1 — the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, signed into law on July 4, 2025 — which requires states to implement Medicaid work requirements, also referred to as community engagement requirements, by January 1, 2027. The bill also mandates more frequent, payroll-data-driven verification across Medicaid and SNAP. With roughly seven of 18 months remaining to build compliant infrastructure, agencies need a partner with proven coverage, reliable data and the operational depth to deploy at scale.

“States are past the point of asking whether to modernize verification. They’re asking who to trust to do it,” said Brian Geary, president at Argyle. “These enhancements reflect what we’ve learned working alongside state programs, and they’re designed to close the gaps that matter most: meeting mandated eligibility requirements, creating a frictionless verification experience for applicants and giving caseworkers the clean, current data they need to make fast, accurate determinations.”

Proven Infrastructure

Argyle’s government solution is adapted from the same verification platform it built for the U.S. mortgage industry, where it has emerged as the leading CBV provider. A recent Stifel Research survey found that 43% of mortgage companies are shifting volume away from Equifax/The Work Number, with Argyle as a top alternative winning on coverage, cost savings and support quality. That same infrastructure — including direct connectivity, consent management, data quality controls and audit-ready records — now powers Argyle’s government verification solutions. Agencies working with Argyle are building on technology that has already processed millions of verifications under demanding compliance conditions.

Argyle is currently active in more than 10 states, supporting benefits programs across Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, SSA, and across leading providers including Nava, Steady, Gainwell and Digital Public Works.

Purpose-Built for Benefit Eligibility

Argyle’s verification platform enables applicants to securely connect their payroll, employer, and bank in a single, intuitive experience. Upon connection and certification, the platform handles the complexity of how people actually earn, from gig income and multiple employers to part-time work and variable pay schedules.

Key features of Argyle’s government verification solution include:

  • Flexible Data Sources: Agencies can verify applicant income and assets across payroll, banking and document sources within a single, unified experience. When one data source is unavailable or insufficient, applicants can seamlessly fall back to another — reducing drop-offs, expanding coverage and ensuring more applicants reach a verified outcome without caseworker intervention or manual follow-up.
  • Verified Upon Receipt: Argyle pulls income and employment data directly from the payroll provider, employer or other primary source, which the applicant then reviews and certifies. This means Argyle’s reports are verified before they are delivered to the agency and require no additional paperwork, no follow-up requests and no delays between application and determination.
  • Agency-Ready Reporting: Argyle’s verification reports for state agencies are purpose-built for Medicaid, SNAP and related program workflows, eliminating the need for caseworkers to interpret raw payroll records or perform manual calculations. Reports feature configurable lookback periods matched to each program’s eligibility window, monthly income summaries alongside paystub-level detail and comprehensive handling of variable earnings, irregular schedules and multiple employers consolidated into combined totals.
  • One-Click Reauthentication: For programs that enable optional data refresh, returning applicants can reauthenticate with a single click without re-entering credentials or starting over. Income data stays current, caseworkers stay unblocked and the administrative overhead of keeping eligibility data fresh doesn’t fall on the applicants who can least afford it.
  • Enhanced Employer Search: Upgraded matching algorithms and smart filtering make it significantly easier for applicants to locate the correct employer. Franchise locations, similarly named businesses and companies with multiple operating entities — historically a common source of friction — are now handled with meaningfully higher accuracy, resulting in broader payroll coverage, fewer drop-offs, fewer cases falling back to manual review and more applicants successfully verified.

With procurement and implementation timelines compressing ahead of the January 2027 deadline, agencies are encouraged to engage early. State agencies, systems integrators and policy organizations working on benefits eligibility modernization can learn more at argyle.com/government.

Argyle is a consent-based verification (CBV) platform that helps government agencies verify income, employment and assets more accurately, efficiently and at scale. Drawing on nearly a decade of experience serving mortgage, tenant screening and other high-volume regulated industries, Argyle brings proven consent management, data quality controls and audit-ready verification workflows to public-sector programs. With an applicant’s permission, Argyle retrieves verified payroll and financial data directly from source payroll providers and financial institutions, enabling agencies to reduce improper payments, streamline renewals and redeterminations and lower verification costs by up to 90% compared to The Work Number. Available as a standalone solution within state eligibility and renewal workflows, or leveraged as a part of CMS’ Emmy product and through government service providers like DiCIT and SteadyIQ.

Argyle announces integration with Vesta to embed direct-source verifications within the loan origination system

New platform capabilities bring income, employment and asset verification together in a single consumer-permissioned workflow

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., March 30, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle, a leading provider of direct-source, consumer-permissioned income, employment and asset verifications, today announced a new integration with Vesta, an AI-native loan origination system (LOS) and agent platform built to automate and accelerate mortgage operations.

The integration allows lenders to order, view and refresh Argyle’s verification of income, employment and assets directly within the Vesta LOS. By embedding direct-source verifications inside the core origination workflow, lenders can reduce manual processes, eliminate system toggling and streamline file management from application through underwriting.

With real-time payroll and banking connections available natively within Vesta, lenders can increase automation rates, lower verification costs and improve operational efficiency, all without introducing additional vendor complexity.

“Verification is one of the most operationally intensive parts of the mortgage process,” said John Hardesty, senior vice president of revenue at Argyle. “By integrating directly into Vesta’s LOS, we’re helping lenders automate more of their pipeline within the systems they already use every day.”

“We’re excited to partner with Argyle to bring embedded, direct-source verification capabilities to our mutual customers,” said Mike Yu, CEO of Vesta. “With verification costs top of mind for many lenders, this integration highlights Vesta’s commitment to providing a flexible, interoperable platform that meets the evolving needs of the industry.”

The integration will be available beginning March 30, 2026. Argyle and Vesta are already launching with their first mutual customers and look forward to expanding access in the coming months.

Argyle launches unified 3-in-1 Verification Suite for mortgage lenders

New verification product brings income, employment and asset verification together in a single, consumer-permissioned workflow

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., March 16, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle today announced the launch of its 3-in-1 Verification Suite, a unified verification product that brings verification of income (VOI), verification of employment (VOE) and verification of assets (VOA) together in a single, consumer-permissioned workflow. The consolidated Verification Suite enables mortgage lenders to manage multiple verification types through one interface, reducing the operational complexity of working across multiple vendors, integrations and contracts.

argyle logo
Image caption: Argyle.

The 3-in-1 Verification Suite includes direct source payroll, direct source banking and DOC VOI, which extends automation to document-based income verification when direct-source payroll connections are unavailable. Doc VOI automatically extracts and analyzes data from borrower-uploaded paystubs and W-2s, reducing manual document review while keeping loan files moving forward.

The Verification Suite is designed to streamline pre-approval, processing and underwriting workflows across the mortgage lifecycle. Along with creating a better experience for lending teams, it simplifies the verification experience for borrowers through a combined journey. Argyle is also introducing two-way communication between the point of sale (POS) and loan origination system (LOS), meaning that verifications started in the POS can be viewed and refreshed downstream without the need to toggle between systems.

“In mortgage origination, lenders typically rely on a combination of verification methods to support different borrower scenarios,” said John Hardesty, senior vice president of revenue at Argyle. “Our 3-in-1 Verification Suite brings income, employment and asset verification together into one experience, helping lenders automate more of their pipeline, reduce manual touchpoints and qualify borrowers faster.”

“It’s a really exciting development, and we’re grateful for the folks at Argyle acting on our feedback,” said Chris Sutherland, director of production strategy at American Pacific Mortgage. “With the success we’ve seen using Argyle for income and employment, adding assets was the obvious next step, and they’ve done some serious development to create continuity between the POS and LOS. The result is an intuitive borrower experience, and makes for a streamlined one-stop-shop for our branches.”

The recognition reflects Argyle’s continued product innovation and measurable impact across the mortgage industry.

In 2025, Argyle expanded its consumer-permissioned verification capabilities with verification of assets, powered by Mastercard’s open finance technology, and Doc VOI, an automated document-based fallback that expands borrower coverage while reducing manual processing. That same year, the company delivered measurable results for lenders nationwide, including millions of dollars in annualized savings, faster loan-cycle times and increased access to representation and warranty relief from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

“Being named to HousingWire’s Tech100 Mortgage list for the third time is a powerful affirmation of the real-world impact our technology is delivering for lenders,” Argyle CEO Shmulik Fishman said. “Over the past year, we’ve expanded our platform to deliver a complete waterfall that includes consumer-based income, employment and asset verifications as well as automated document-based income verifications. That consolidation reduces complexity for lenders and sets a new standard for how borrower data should be verified.”

“The 2026 Tech100 honorees represent the companies pushing housing forward in real, measurable ways,” said Sarah Wheeler, editor-in-chief at HousingWire. “They’re building technology that solves core industry challenges, from operational efficiency to better consumer experiences, and setting a higher standard for what innovation in housing truly looks like.”

Argyle covers approximately 90% of the U.S. workforce and is deeply integrated with the mortgage industry’s leading point-of-sale and loan-origination systems, including Encompass by ICE Mortgage Technology and the nCino Mortgage Suite, enabling lenders to modernize verification workflows without disrupting existing operations.

Launched in 2013, HousingWire’s Tech100 awards recognize the most innovative and impactful technology organizations in housing, offering industry recognition and increased visibility among potential customers and partners. The program includes two categories: Tech100 Mortgage, honoring companies transforming the mortgage process from origination through secondary markets, and Tech100 Real Estate, which recognizes technology firms reshaping the home sales experience.

Argyle secures long-term U.S. GSA Multiple Award Schedule contract for income, employment and asset verifications

Agreement gives states a more cost-effective path to modernize Medicaid and SNAP eligibility using consent-based payroll and bank data connections, automated document-based workflows

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., Feb. 3, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle, the leading provider of direct-source income, employment and asset verifications, today announced it has secured a contract on the United States General Services Administration’s (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) under contract number 47QTCA26D002N.

argyle logo
Image caption: Argyle secures long-term U.S. GSA Multiple Award Schedule contract.

The GSA MAS is a long-standing federal procurement program that gives state and federal agencies streamlined access to pre-vetted technology vendors at pre-negotiated pricing. Argyle’s inclusion enables agencies to procure modern verification capabilities more quickly and cost-effectively. The long-term award contract structure gives agencies confidence in Argyle as a stable, compliant partner as they prepare for increased verification volume tied to Medicaid and SNAP eligibility requirements.

Argyle provides real-time income, employment and asset verifications through consent-based connections to applicants’ payroll and financial accounts. When direct data connections are unavailable, Argyle’s automated document-based verifications serve as a fallback, extracting and validating information from paystubs and W-2s. Both approaches generate structured verification reports that integrate with eligibility and decisioning systems, giving states greater visibility into applicants’ financial eligibility while reducing manual burden and improving accuracy, consistency and processing speed.

“GSA MAS approval gives states a streamlined path to adopt Argyle’s verification technology in a cost-effective way,” said Argyle CEO Shmulik Fishman. “By lowering both procurement friction and the ongoing cost of verification, Argyle helps agencies manage growing eligibility workloads more efficiently while improving the experience for the individuals they serve.”

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has also identified Argyle among technology companies that have made voluntary commitments to support state implementation of Medicaid community engagement requirements. This CMS fact sheet highlights technology providers states may consider as they evaluate more efficient, cost-conscious approaches to eligibility administration: https://www.cms.gov/newsroom/fact-sheets/fact-sheet-pledges-medicaid-technology-companies-support-community-engagement-implementation-related.

About Argyle:

Argyle is a consent-based verification (CBV) platform that helps agencies verify income, employment and assets more accurately, efficiently, and at scale. With an applicant’s permission, Argyle securely pulls verified income data directly from payroll providers and financial institutions using direct-source connections. When direct connections aren’t available, Argyle supports document uploads, processing submitted payroll documents with OCR to accurately classify income and include it in a standardized verification report delivered securely to the agency. By modernizing verification workflows, Argyle helps states reduce improper payments and error rates, streamline renewals and redeterminations, and lower verification costs by up to 80% compared to The Work Number. Argyle can be deployed as a standalone solution within state eligibility and renewal workflows or accessed through a secure verification link. The platform also powers additional consent-based verification tools, including CMS’s IVAAS tool. Named one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies in 2024, Argyle supports government benefits programs alongside its work in mortgage, personal lending, tenant screening, background checks, and the gig economy.

Annual awards program honors housing technology's most influential innovators for their leadership and industry impact

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., Nov. 3, 2025 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle, the leading provider of direct-source income, employment and asset verifications for some of the largest lenders in the United States, announced today that its Chief Operating Officer Brian Geary has been recognized as one of HousingWire’s Tech Trendsetters of 2025. This award spotlights the top 75 technology and product leaders bringing innovative change to the mortgage and real estate industries.

Image caption: HousingWire names Argyle COO Brian Geary among its 2025 Tech Trendsetters.

Geary was recognized as the driving force behind Argyle’s relentless pursuit of mortgage verification modernization, work that has allowed lenders to benefit from the efficiency of real-time consumer-permissioned data while creating better borrower experiences. In accepting this award, Geary follows in the footsteps of Argyle CEO Shmulik Fishman, who was recognized as a HousingWire Trendsetter in 2023.

Argyle first gained recognition for modernizing verification of income and employment (VOI/VOE) through direct-source, consumer-permissioned payroll data. Under Geary’s leadership, the company has evolved into a full-service verification provider. Argyle now supports verification of assets (VOA) with the same direct-source access to consumers’ bank accounts. It also recently launched DOC VOI, a paystub and W-2 based income verification report integrated with Freddie Mac’s AIM Check API with document extraction capabilities that allow for automated verification when a payroll or bank connection isn’t available. Together, these advances enable Argyle to meet lenders’ full range of verification needs with a single, trusted platform.

“At Argyle, innovation always starts with our customers,” said Geary. “Lenders want technology that makes their lives easier, not more complicated. By listening closely to what they need—lower costs, automated workflows, faster closings—we’re able to turn their feedback into real solutions that deliver measurable results. That’s what drives our team every day.”

Within Argyle, Geary has reimagined customer success as a strategic function, moving beyond traditional support to establish dedicated support teams that provide expertise and guidance at every stage. This customer-centric philosophy has been instrumental to Argyle’s growth in lenders, partnerships and integrations.

“The 2025 Tech Trendsetters exemplify the creativity and execution that define the next generation of housing innovation,” said Clayton Collins, CEO of HW Media. “Whether it’s advancing AI and automation, strengthening data ecosystems or elevating the digital experience for professionals and consumers alike, these leaders are shaping the future of a more efficient housing sector.”

Argyle expands income verification with AIM Check integrated Doc VOI

Automated, document-based income analysis streamlines verification waterfalls-cutting costs and helping lenders determine eligibility for Freddie Mac representation and warranty relief related to income calculation

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., Oct. 14, 2025 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle, the leading provider of direct-source income, employment and asset verifications, today announced the launch of Doc VOI, a new paystub and W-2 based income verification report integrated with Freddie Mac’s AIM Check API. Lenders are cutting costs and gaining fast, automated income verifications from uploaded paystubs and W-2s when direct payroll or banking connections are not available. The launch also helps mortgage lenders unlock rep and warrant (R&W) relief from Freddie Mac on income calculations derived from documents.

argyle logo
Image caption: Argyle.

Argyle can retrieve paystubs and W-2s directly from the eFolder within ICE Mortgage Technology’s Encompass® loan origination system and through the Argyle API for lenders with proprietary systems. Doc VOI then uses optical character recognition (OCR) technology to extract key income data and submits that data to Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor® (LPA®) AIM Check for assessment. Within minutes, Argyle returns the automated income assessment results in a clear, structured report delivered directly into the LOS. Doc VOI provides visibility into an applicant’s AIM-eligible income earlier in the loan origination process without waiting for a full LPA submission or resorting to traditional manual reviews.

Key benefits of Argyle’s Doc VOI include:

  • Reduced cost by minimizing reliance on legacy providers: Lenders can shift away from expensive, static database solutions and instead access more timely, dynamic income data.
  • R&W relief eligibility on more loans: By enabling document-based verifications that would otherwise be handled manually, Doc VOI increases the share of loans assessed by LPA for eligibility of R&W relief.
  • Faster loan decisions through higher-quality data: Early income assessments accelerate underwriting by equipping lenders with verified income data sooner in the process while supporting cleaner automated underwriting system (AUS) submissions.
  • Improved operational efficiency: Automating document-based income analysis reduces manual reviews, freeing up teams to focus on higher-value activities.

“Working with Argyle has helped us streamline verifications for both our team and our borrowers. Including Doc VOI in our verification process gives us confidence that we can quickly qualify borrowers using documents when needed. This flexibility ensures a smooth borrower experience and supports timely processing,” said Cindy Keith, chief strategy officer at NFM Lending.

“Argyle’s Doc VOI integrated with Freddie Mac’s AIM Check enables mortgage lenders to maximize their verification waterfall,” said Brian Geary, COO of Argyle. “By combining payroll, banking and docs, Argyle enables customers to run their entire waterfall through one provider, driving more qualifications, less manual work, and higher conversion.”

Doc VOI complements Argyle’s direct-source payroll and banking verification solutions (VOIE, VOE, VOA), which are also integrated with Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor AIM as well as with Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter® validation service, a component of Day 1 Certainty®. Together, these capabilities provide comprehensive coverage across applicant profiles, giving providers more tools to meet GSE eligibility requirements and improve the applicant experience.

PROGRESS in Lending has been highlighting breakthrough achievements in housing finance technology since 2011. New this year, the association’s first annual Game Changer award spotlights 17 of the most innovative solutions that are changing the mortgage process for the better.

Argyle was recognized for replacing the mortgage industry’s long-standing reliance on manual, outdated income and employment verification methods with a real-time, consumer-permissioned experience. Unlike legacy solutions that depend on static databases and manual paperwork, Argyle gives lenders direct, digital access to payroll and employer systems with borrower consent—eliminating delays, reducing costs and enhancing transparency. The platform integrates directly into lenders’ existing workflows, from point-of-sale and loan origination systems to automated underwriting systems.

Argyle recently expanded its platform to include verification of assets powered by Mastercard’s open banking technology, broadening its support for lenders with a single, consumer-permissioned platform for income, employment and asset verification.

“This award affirms Argyle’s commitment to transforming the mortgage lending process,” said Shmulik Fishman, CEO at Argyle. “We’ve eliminated outdated verification methods that create delays and costs and replaced them with an efficient, embedded experience that works seamlessly within the tools lenders already use.”

Lenders that leverage Argyle’s flexible verification platform reduce verification costs by up to 80%, reduce loan processing timelines by as much as a week and boost application pull-through. The platform delivers complete, refreshable data that supports rep and warrant relief, helping lenders minimize defects, enhance salability and reduce secondary market risk. Borrowers, meanwhile, benefit from a faster, easier loan experience that puts them in control of their own financial data—no uploading documents, no repeated requests.

Image caption: Argyle.

Initially launched in 2022, the Argyle–nCino partnership brought a fully digital verification of income and employment (VOIE) experience to more than 370 mortgage companies and 52,000 loan officers. Earlier in 2025, the integration expanded to embed Argyle’s VOIE solution directly into nCino’s Form 1003 workflow, enabling end-to-end connectivity from borrower authorization to automated underwriting.

“This award recognizes what happens when two technology leaders align and modernize mortgage workflows from the ground up,” said Shmulik Fishman, CEO at Argyle. “Together with nCino, we’re proving that it’s possible to connect borrower data from the source to the secondary market with less manual work, fewer delays and a much better experience for everyone involved.”

The integration allows lenders to verify income and employment within nCino’s point-of-sale system in real-time, removing the need for third-party portals or borrower document uploads. Verified data flows seamlessly into loan origination systems (LOS) like Encompass and onward to automated underwriting systems such as Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter® and Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor®.

With this streamlined, embedded approach, lenders using Argyle have reduced processing time by 5–7 days and lowered verification costs by up to 80%. Borrowers benefit from a faster, easier application process, while lenders gain access to complete VOIE data that improves underwriting confidence and eligibility for rep and warrant relief.

Argyle debuts integration with Encompass Consumer Connect, upgrades existing integration with Encompass from ICE Mortgage Technology

Integrations work together to pre-populate the URLA while reducing lender costs, accelerating closings and removing borrower friction

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., May 13, 2025 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle, a service provider automating income and employment verifications for some of the largest lenders in the United States, today announced the debut of its integration with Encompass® Consumer Connect™, a digital mortgage point-of-sale solution from ICE Mortgage Technology®, part of Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE). In addition, Argyle announced the release of significant upgrades to its existing integration with ICE Mortgage Technology’s flagship Encompass® loan origination system. Both integrations are built on the Encompass Partner Connect™ platform, ICE’s latest API framework for third-party mortgage technology service connections.

Image caption: Argyle debuts integration with Encompass Consumer Connect.

NEW: Consumer Connect POS integration

With Consumer Connect, borrowers can complete mortgage applications on any device, accelerating the loan verification and approval process with an engaging and simple digital mortgage experience. By enabling lenders to embed award-winning verification of income and employment (VOIE) in the application when borrowers are most engaged, Argyle’s Consumer Connect integration streamlines the loan process from the very start. Key benefits include:

  • Higher borrower conversion and faster processing times
Embedding verification helps remove obstacles for lenders and borrowers, leading to higher application completion rates. By capturing income and employment data earlier in the loan process, lenders reduce bottlenecks that typically delay approvals, increasing the likelihood of moving the loan into processing.
  • Interoperability with Encompass LOS
Borrower income and employment data collected by Argyle in Consumer Connect automatically transfers to Encompass. This enables the origination team to access and refresh additional paystubs, W-2s and 1099s directly in Encompass whenever needed—thus streamlining the loan process from application submitted to funding.
  • Faster, More Accurate AUS Submission
In addition to W-2s, pay stubs and VOIE reports, Argyle’s raw income data elements automatically populate in the Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA) to accelerate GSE rep and warrant (R&W) determination.

IMPROVED: Encompass LOS Integration
In addition to the new Consumer Connect integration, Argyle has rolled out major enhancements to its Encompass integration, including:

  • Streamlined order flow
A redesigned, single-page experience that clearly outlines the status of borrower accounts. Easily order, track and reverify—all from one convenient view.
  • Transparent order tracking for reports
Argyle clearly outlines the status of your verification requests, ensuring you have the necessary data to move the loan forward.
  • Simplified, automated re-verifications
If the verification is outside of your closing window, Argyle will issue a status update with instructions for re-engaging the borrower and will automatically generate and send the closing verification of employment (VOE) to the Encompass eFolder.
  • Better support for loan teams
Improved email notifications make it easier for team members assigned to the loan file to follow along the status of a verification.

“Embedding Argyle into Consumer Connect and enhancing our Encompass integration brings a new level of automation and borrower ease to customers of ICE Mortgage Technology,” said John Hardesty, Vice President of Mortgage at Argyle. “By placing verification at the start of the borrower journey and optimizing workflows throughout the loan process, lenders can improve efficiency, reduce processing times and deliver a better experience for both borrowers and origination teams.”

Argyle launches fully embedded VOIE for mortgage lenders through nCino integration

Enhanced integration boosts loan pull-through and quality with direct data flow from the point of sale to the loan origination system

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., Feb. 10, 2025 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle, a service provider automating income and employment verifications for some of the largest mortgage lenders in the United States, today announced significant enhancements to its integration with nCino (NASDAQ: NCNO), the leading provider of intelligent, best-in-class banking solutions.

argyle logo
Image caption: Argyle.

Argyle and nCino first teamed up in 2022 to bring fully digital verification of income and employment (VOIE)—including reports, pay stubs and W-2s—to the more than 370 mortgage companies and 52,000 loan officers that rely on nCino to manage the loan application process.

The latest enhancements to the integration, now available to all nCino customers, improve application pull-through and loan quality by allowing lenders to embed VOIE directly into the point-of-sale (POS) workflow within nCino’s Mortgage Suite. In addition to retrieving VOIE reports and pay documents from Argyle, nCino now captures data elements like GSE Reference IDs and automatically transfers them to the lender’s loan origination system (LOS).

Key Integration Enhancements:

  • Friction-Free Verification: Instead of inviting their customers to verify income and employment with an email or SMS, lenders can now simplify borrower interactions and improve application pull-through by presenting Argyle’s VOIE solution as an embedded, in-app experience directly in the Form 1003 application flow within nCino Mortgage.
  • Customizable Workflows: With Argyle and nCino Mortgage, lenders can tailor VOIE workflows and customize payroll connection lists for each of their business units or operating groups, creating personalized experiences that enhance borrower satisfaction.
  • Faster, More Accurate AUS Submission: In addition to W-2s, pay stubs and VOIE reports, Argyle’s raw income data elements automatically populate in the Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA) to accelerate GSE rep and warrant (R&W) determination. Argyle’s extensive payroll coverage and focus on data completeness can improve the frequency with which lenders secure R&W relief.
  • LOS Interoperability & Continuous Synchronization: nCino automatically passes new VOIE data and documents on to the lender’s LOS, enabling a simplified employment re-verification process during the 10-day pre-closing window and ensuring data accuracy across all systems of record throughout the loan lifecycle.

Argyle streamlines loan origination and delights borrowers by eliminating manual document collection, resulting in time savings of 5–7 days per loan and cost savings of 60–80% compared to legacy VOIE solutions. Argyle Vice President of Mortgage John Hardesty expects the enhancements to the nCino integration will drive greater adoption among mutual lender customers, enabling them to fully capitalize on these benefits.

“Our expanded integration with nCino reflects Argyle’s commitment to meeting lenders and their customers throughout the loan journey. Embedding Argyle’s VOIE at the point of sale gets loans through the loan process faster with accurate, complete data lenders and GSEs can trust,” said Hardesty.

“Embedding Argyle directly into the nCino Mortgage Suite makes it easier for lenders to process applications efficiently and provide borrowers with a smooth experience. Our collaboration is all about accelerating VOIE and ensuring borrower data flows smoothly from Argyle to nCino, through LOS platforms and into GSE systems with accuracy,” said Casey Williams, general manager of nCino Mortgage.

Lender demand for Argyle’s VOIE platform fuels record growth for its mortgage division

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., Oct. 28, 2024 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) – Argyle, a service provider automating income and employment verifications for some of the largest mortgage lenders in the United States, has eclipsed its full-year 2023 growth through just the first nine months of 2024. The company has added 58 new independent mortgage bank, credit union and bank customers since the beginning of the year, bringing its total number of mortgage customers well north of 100, including 7 of the nation’s top 15 retail lenders. Argyle isn’t just adding customers, either; it’s onboarding them swiftly, with year-to-date verification of income and employment (VOIE) volumes already 166% higher than the full-year total for 2023.

argyle logo
Image caption: Argyle.

Chief Operating Officer Brian Geary attributed the growth to Argyle’s focus on delivering mortgage-specific product enhancements and measurable results for lenders. Top-5 lender* [*note 1] Newrez has partnered with Argyle on a custom integration to deliver a streamlined customer experience for VOIE. Amerisave, a top-25 lender* [*note 2] that took its custom integration with Argyle live in just three weeks, said it receives GSE representation and warranty relief more often when using Argyle than any other VOIE provider. And Delta Community Credit Union, one of the 35 largest credit unions in the United States* [*note 3], reported savings of $39 per member on verification costs using Argyle. These outcomes underscore Argyle’s ability to drive real business value and solidify its position as the mortgage industry’s highest-performing verification solution with a consistent conversion rate above 55% and cost savings of 80% over incumbents.

“Our growth this year is a testament to the measurable impact we’re making for lenders,” said Geary. “Every loan team works a little bit differently. By offering maximum flexibility in how Argyle can be deployed and working shoulder-to-shoulder with customers to make each rollout a success, we’re proving that Argyle is the best partner for any lender that wants to reverse the customer friction, buyback risk and high cost associated with VOIE.”

Argyle achieved several milestones in 2024, including approval as a third-party service provider for Freddie Mac’s Loan Product Advisor® (LPA℠) asset and income modeler (AIM). Like Argyle’s 2023 collaboration with Fannie Mae, the integration with AIM helps lenders reduce mortgage repurchase risk by enabling assessment of eligibility for representations and warranties relief. The company also formed or expanded partnerships with several major loan origination systems (LOS) and point-of-sale (POS) platform providers, including ICE Mortgage Technology® (NYSE: ICE), Floify, Byte Software and nCino (NASDAQ: NCNO), and joined The Mortgage Collaborative as a preferred partner.

Argyle’s leadership and innovation were widely recognized in 2024. In March, Fast Company ranked Argyle #5 globally in the Personal Finance category of its Most Innovative Companies list. Argyle also received a Silver Stevie® at the 22nd annual American Business Awards® in April for its pioneering approach to automating income and employment verifications. In February Argyle made its debut on HousingWire’s Tech100, while CEO Shmulik Fishman was honored as a 2024 Tech All-Star by the Mortgage Bankers Association and received Inman’s Best of Finance award. PROGRESS in Lending also recognized Argyle with its Innovations Award, celebrating the company’s transformative role in the mortgage industry.

Key members of Argyle’s leadership team received recognition for their contributions as well. In August, Principal Mortgage Customer Success Manager Rowdy Harris was named a 2024 HousingWire Insider for leading the mortgage division’s fast-growing customer success team. In September, Brian Geary was honored with HousingWire’s 2024 Vanguard Award for driving Argyle’s strategic partnerships and helping customers succeed.

Argyle’s rapid growth this year was supported by a $30 million Series C funding round that reinforces its stability as a long-haul partner for mortgage lenders. The funding has enabled Argyle to invest in white-glove customer service and product integrations that make its VOIE service available in familiar systems, reducing customer ramp time and improving user adoption.

"Being at the vanguard of innovation means more than just developing new technology; it's about ensuring your solutions resonate with the people who use them," Geary said. "This recognition validates Argyle's focus on the human side of digital transformation, and we will continue to put the needs of people - our customers, our partners and our team members - at the center of everything we do."

"The HousingWire Vanguards award recognizes the most outstanding executive leaders in mortgage and real estate-executives who make a real impact by driving innovation, setting strategic direction, and steering their organizations toward monumental achievements," said Clayton Collins, CEO of HW Media. Argyle is now an approved service provider supporting Freddie Mac’s AIM

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. /ScoopCloud/ -- Argyle, a platform providing real-time income and employment verifications for some of the largest lenders in the United States, is now an approved third-party service provider supporting Freddie Mac's Loan Product Advisor® (LPA℠) asset and income modeler (AIM), a solution that simplifies the mortgage underwriting process for lenders. Argyle's verification of income and employment (VOIE) solution, which includes reports, pay stubs and W-2s, saves lenders 5-7 days per loan and 60-80% in costs compared to legacy VOIE providers.

* GSE-Approved: Argyle is now an approved service provider for Freddie Mac's LPA AIM, in addition to being an authorized report supplier for Fannie Mae's Desktop Underwriter®.

* Cost and Time Savings: Lenders using Argyle for VOIE can save 5-7 days per loan and 60-80% in costs compared to legacy providers.

* Improved Loan Quality: Lenders can now submit their Argyle reference number to LPA for immediate assessment of eligibility for representation and warranty relief.

* Timely Solution: The integration addresses increasing origination costs and helps maintain lender margins.

Effective immediately, lenders using Argyle's verification services will be eligible for automatic assessment of income and employment, including 10-day pre-closing verifications, through AIM. By submitting Argyle's reference number to LPA, lenders can receive an immediate assessment of eligibility for representation and warranty relief for the income calculation and accuracy and integrity of the data.

"Argyle is proud to collaborate with Freddie Mac to offer a comprehensive and efficient industry-leading solution for income and employment verification," said Argyle COO Brian Geary. "By automatically retrieving income data from a borrower's payroll accounts, our platform helps lenders close high-quality loans more quickly while reducing origination costs and improving loan quality. This solution is timely, especially as the industry faces increasing origination costs that erode already razor-thin margins."

"Our latest research shows the cost to originate has increased 35% since 2021. When lenders maximize LPA's digital capabilities like AIM, they can save $1,500 per loan," said Daniel Miller, Freddie Mac Single-Family Director of Strategic Technology Partnerships. "We're excited to welcome Argyle as a service provider supporting AIM, so we can help lenders drive down costs through digital innovation."

Argyle CEO Shmulik Fishman honored as a 2024 Tech All-Star by Mortgage Bankers Association

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. /ScoopCloud/ -- Argyle, a platform providing real-time income and employment verifications for some of the largest lenders in the United States, today announced its CEO Shmulik Fishman has been named a 2024 Tech All-Star by MBA NewsLink, a publication of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). The award celebrates mortgage industry leaders who have made outstanding contributions to mortgage technology. In bestowing the honor upon Fishman, MBA NewsLink referenced the transformative impact of Argyle, the company Fishman founded in 2018, and its verification of income and employment (VOIE) methodology.

Verifying loan applicants' income and employment has long troubled lenders, with traditional providers achieving only 20-30% success, often requiring costly manual intervention. These outdated solutions are ill-suited to today's workforce and expensive for lenders at a time when origination costs have risen to untenable levels.

Before Argyle, "automated" verification meant paying high fees for outdated, inaccurate consumer data. Fishman launched Argyle to create fast, affordable, consumer-permissioned connections between payroll processors and businesses. Under his leadership, Argyle has achieved an industry-leading conversion rate of 55% while saving companies an average of 80% on total verification costs. Since the beginning of 2023, 98 mortgage lenders have adopted Argyle for VOIE services.

After founding Argyle less than six years ago, Fishman prioritized the creation of its mortgage-specific division. Under his leadership, Argyle became the first consumer-permissioned provider to support Day 1 Certainty(r) as an authorized report supplier for Fannie Mae's Desktop Underwriter(r) (DU(r)) validation service. Fishman also shepherded the company's successful integrations with the Empower loan origination system (LOS) from Dark Matter Technologies, ICE Mortgage Technologies' Encompass LOS and nCino's Mortgage Suite. To further enhance Argyle's mortgage bench strength, he recruited industry veterans Sam E. Oliver III (a three-decade Freddie Mac veteran) and Jason Cave (former chief fintech officer for the Federal Housing Finance Agency) to its advisory board.

"We're on a mission to build a universal network for consumer-permissioned income and employment data to modernize mortgage lending in ways that improve business efficiencies and transform lives," said Fishman. "The entire Argyle team strives to deliver meaningful cost savings, faster processing and underwriting and a superior customer experience, and we're growing and innovating every day."

The MBA Newslink announced the Tech All-Star award winners Tuesday at the MISMO Spring Summit in San Francisco. Read the full list of winners here: https://newslink.mba.org/mba-newslinks/2024/june/mba-honors-2024-newslink-tech-all-stars/.

Argyle recognized as a Financial Services Company of the Year in the 2024 American Business Awards

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. /ScoopCloud/ -- Argyle, the leading provider of direct-source income and employment data, is a winner of the 22nd annual American Business Awards®. The company received a Silver Stevie® in the mid-sized Financial Services Company of the Year category in recognition of its innovative approach to automating income and employment verifications.

Argyle saves financial services providers time and money by providing them secure access to real-time income and employment data-straight from the source. Businesses that use Argyle to open accounts for depositors and qualify applicants for home, auto, and personal loans can verify income and employment faster, more reliably and at 60-80% less cost.

"[Argyle's] achievements since the beginning of 2022 underscore a rapid and substantial impact on the industry," noted one contest judge. "Their ability to provide direct-source data with higher accuracy and at a fraction of the cost not only sets a new standard for verification processes but also represents a significant advancement in financial services technology."

"In the last 18 months, Argyle has increased our data coverage to 90% of the U.S. workforce, allowing us to successfully verify income and employment almost twice as often as the competition while saving companies an average of 80% on total verification costs," said Argyle CEO Shmulik Fishman. "The implications for our customers are powerful, and we are grateful to the judges of this year's American Business Awards for understanding and recognizing the significance of Argyle's impact."

The American Business Awards are the United States' premier business awards program. Each year, the program receives thousands of entries from companies of all kinds: public and private, for-profit and nonprofit, large and small. Argyle’s Anaid Chacón honored as HousingWire Rising Star

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. /ScoopCloud/ -- Argyle, a platform providing automated income and employment verifications for some of the largest lenders in the United States, today announced its Senior Vice President of Product Anaid Chacón has been recognized as a HousingWire Rising Star. The award recognizes leaders in real estate and mortgage under the age of 40 who have achieved remarkable milestones, taken on significant leadership opportunities and driven growth and change in their fields.

Anaid Chacón has more than a decade of proven leadership in project management and technology innovation. Her background as an engineer has made her a catalyst for innovation at Argyle, where she helped push integrations with Encompass(r) by ICE Mortgage Technology and the Empower(r) loan origination system (LOS) from Dark Matter Technologies to their completion. She also helped cement Argyle's place as an authorized report supplier for Fannie Mae's Desktop Underwriter(r) validation service (a component of Day 1 Certainty(r)) in 2023, a year that saw the company welcome 50 new customers in the mortgage space alone.

"At Argyle, we believe our people are our greatest asset. We describe ourselves as a company powered by motivated individuals who think like owners and are committed to success - words that describe Anaid perfectly," said Argyle CEO Shmulik Fishman. "She has been a motivating force from day one, guiding the team to focus not on developing products to sell, but on creating solutions that solve problems for Argyle's customers."

Chacón and her team keep Argyle at the vanguard of financial technology with a focus on simple, customer-oriented solutions to the complex problems presented by a heavily regulated industry. Chacón also helps empower other women in the mortgage industry through her participation in the nonprofit industry alliance Women of ALICE.

"As a leader, I focus on empowering my team with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed," said Chacón. "By ensuring each member of my team not only knows what they need to do, and knows why it is important, I keep everyone focused on working to meet and exceed the needs of our customers. Innovation is a certainty with that mindset."

"The Rising Stars award is one of my favorite industry awards because it reinforces the bright future that exists in mortgage and real estate," HousingWire Editor-in-Chief Sarah Wheeler said. "In an industry that has experienced its share of challenges and successes, these young leaders bring a fresh perspective, innovative ideas and a relentless drive to shape the future of the industry, and I am continuously impressed by the level of talent that we see each year."

Argyle was recognized for its revolutionary approach to verification of income and employment (VOIE) that delivers meaningful cost savings for lenders and a superior experience for customers.

Argyle delivers secure access to direct-source income and employment data in real time. Its coverage of the US workforce, which includes gig economy workers and 99% of the Fortune 1000, is superior to the three largest credit bureaus and boasts the highest conversion rates in the market.

Argyle welcomes former FHFA Chief Fintech Officer Jason Cave to board of advisors

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. /ScoopCloud/ -- Argyle, a platform providing automated income and employment verifications for some of the largest lenders in the United States, today announced the addition of Jason Cave, former chief fintech officer and deputy director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency's Division of Conservatorship Oversight and Readiness, to its board of advisors.

Cave has more than three decades of experience in U.S. banking regulation. Before joining the FHFA, Cave spent 27 years at FDIC, where he served in numerous positions including as a senior advisor within the Division of Complex Institution, Supervision and Resolution. He has also helped shape international bank policy as a former chairman of the Basel Committee's task force on simplicity and comparability, leading negotiations for the post-crisis reform package known as Basel III.

In more recent years Cave has emerged as a leading force in housing finance innovation. After launching the FHFA's Office of Financial Technology in 2022, he introduced its first annual Velocity tech sprint in 2023. The three-day event challenged practitioners from across the technology and mortgage finance sectors to build and present innovative solutions for increasing access, fairness, affordability and sustainability in mortgage lending.

"After 30 years in government, I'm investing my experience and energy in the fintechs that are working to solve the many entrenched challenges within banking and mortgage," said Cave. "Argyle is a company that is making real, measurable strides toward making mortgages more fraud-resistant and cost-effective in an industry where modernization is often an uphill battle. We can expect a lot more innovation to come from Argyle, and I'm energized to be a part of it. "

"No one understands the intersection of financial regulation and technology better than Jason Cave," said Argyle CEO Shmulik Fishman. "It's an honor to welcome Jason to our advisory board, where his guidance will be invaluable in helping Argyle navigate the D.C. landscape as we drive advancements the mortgage industry needs to thrive."

Cave's appointment to the Argyle advisory board follows that of fellow mortgage industry veterans Sam E. Oliver III and Terri Davis, both of whom joined in 2023. Oliver boasts three decades of experience at Freddie Mac, while Davis has held leadership positions at Fannie Mae, ICE Mortgage Technology and Notarize.
