Argyle debuts integration with Encompass Consumer Connect, upgrades existing integration with Encompass from ICE Mortgage Technology

Integrations work together to pre-populate the URLA while reducing lender costs, accelerating closings and removing borrower friction

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., May 13, 2025 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Argyle, a service provider automating income and employment verifications for some of the largest lenders in the United States, today announced the debut of its integration with Encompass® Consumer Connect™, a digital mortgage point-of-sale solution from ICE Mortgage Technology®, part of Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE). NEW: Consumer Connect POS integration

With Consumer Connect, borrowers can complete mortgage applications on any device, accelerating the loan verification and approval process with an engaging and simple digital mortgage experience. By enabling lenders to embed award-winning verification of income and employment (VOIE) in the application when borrowers are most engaged, Argyle’s Consumer Connect integration streamlines the loan process from the very start. Key benefits include:

  • Higher borrower conversion and faster processing times
Embedding verification helps remove obstacles for lenders and borrowers, leading to higher application completion rates. By capturing income and employment data earlier in the loan process, lenders reduce bottlenecks that typically delay approvals, increasing the likelihood of moving the loan into processing.
  • Interoperability with Encompass LOS
Borrower income and employment data collected by Argyle in Consumer Connect automatically transfers to Encompass. This enables the origination team to access and refresh additional paystubs, W-2s and 1099s directly in Encompass whenever needed—thus streamlining the loan process from application submitted to funding.
  • Faster, More Accurate AUS Submission
In addition to W-2s, pay stubs and VOIE reports, Argyle’s raw income data elements automatically populate in the Uniform Residential Loan Application (URLA) to accelerate GSE rep and warrant (R&W) determination.

IMPROVED: Encompass LOS Integration
In addition to the new Consumer Connect integration, Argyle has rolled out major enhancements to its Encompass integration, including:

  • Streamlined order flow
A redesigned, single-page experience that clearly outlines the status of borrower accounts. Easily order, track and reverify—all from one convenient view.
  • Transparent order tracking for reports
Argyle clearly outlines the status of your verification requests, ensuring you have the necessary data to move the loan forward.
  • Simplified, automated re-verifications
If the verification is outside of your closing window, Argyle will issue a status update with instructions for re-engaging the borrower and will automatically generate and send the closing verification of employment (VOE) to the Encompass eFolder.
  • Better support for loan teams
Improved email notifications make it easier for team members assigned to the loan file to follow along the status of a verification.

“Embedding Argyle into Consumer Connect and enhancing our Encompass integration brings a new level of automation and borrower ease to customers of ICE Mortgage Technology,” said John Hardesty, Vice President of Mortgage at Argyle. “By placing verification at the start of the borrower journey and optimizing workflows throughout the loan process, lenders can improve efficiency, reduce processing times and deliver a better experience for both borrowers and origination teams.”

Down Payment Resource receives ICE Mortgage Technology’s 2025 Innovation Award for Technology Partner of the Year

The recognition highlights DPR's integration with Encompass, which helps lenders connect homebuyers with homebuyer assistance programs

ATLANTA, Ga., Feb. 27, 2025 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Down Payment Resource (DPR), the housing industry’s leading technology for connecting homebuyers with homebuyer assistance programs, today announced that it has been named the 2025 ICE Innovation Technology Partner of the Year by Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), a leading global provider of data, technology and market infrastructure.

Down Payment Resource
Image caption: Down Payment Resource.

The ICE Innovation Awards recognize industry leaders pushing the envelope by creating extraordinary solutions for housing professionals in partnership with ICE Mortgage Technology.

DPR’s integration with Encompass® by ICE Mortgage Technology debuted during ICE Experience 2024. Available on the Encompass Partner Connect (EPC) platform via APIs, the integration makes it easier for lenders to support homebuyers with the nation’s 2,400-plus down payment assistance (DPA) programs. Using DPA can lower the borrower’s loan-to-value (LTV) ratio by an average of 6%, helping more low-to-moderate income (LMI) borrowers qualify for a mortgage.

DPR’s integration with Encompass embeds operational support for DPA programs directly into core loan production systems, arming lending staff with the information they need to confidently offer and manufacture these programs. Based on declarations and loan application data, borrowers are automatically matched with eligible company-approved DPA programs. LOs are presented with program information, such as benefit amounts and eligibility requirements, so they can advise borrowers on their DPA options and guide them through program-specific processes. Also, program selections are automatically communicated downstream to underwriters by translating program requirements into importable loan conditions, making them easier to manage.

“We are extremely pleased ICE has shined such a bright light on this integration, which addresses a long-standing gap in making DPA program information accessible within the LOS so loan officers can help more borrowers take advantage of DPA opportunities,” said DPR Founder and CEO Rob Chrane. “As the only partner in the network providing this critical service, DPR is playing a critical role in helping lenders make homeownership more accessible for first-time and LMI buyers.”

Encompass Partner Connect enables the integration of key third-party products and services with ICE Mortgage Technology solutions. Down Payment Resource integration with ICE Mortgage Technology embeds down payment assistance program support into core mortgage origination software

ATLANTA, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- Down Payment Resource (DPR), the housing industry's leading technology for connecting homebuyers with homebuyer assistance programs, today announced a new integration using the latest API framework from Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) for mortgage technology. Available via the Encompass Partner Connect™ API Platform, the integration makes it easier for lenders to support homebuyers with the nation's 2,300-plus down payment assistance (DPA) programs.

DPR's integration with Encompass embeds support for DPA programs directly into core loan production systems, arming lending staff with the information they need to confidently deliver DPA. Borrowers are automatically matched with eligible company approved DPA programs based on declarations and loan application data. LOs are presented with program information, such as benefit amounts and eligibility requirements, so they can advise borrowers on their DPA options and guide them through program-specific processes. DPA program selection is automatically communicated downstream to underwriters by translating program requirements into importable loan conditions, making them easier to manage.

Using DPA can lower the loan amount for a more favorable debt-to-income ratio or provide cash to meet the necessary cash-to-close, helping more low-to-moderate income (LMI) borrowers qualify for a mortgage. A study conducted by Down Payment Resource and the Urban Institute that examined the impact DPA could have had on buyers in the top 10 United States metropolitan statistical areas found that almost half (43.6%) of originated purchase mortgages were eligible for DPA. As far as loan types, 79.8% of FHA loans and 81.9% of USDA loans could have been eligible for DPA.

Moreover, the study found that DPA could have potentially salvaged 30.7% of denied applicants - a gap that affects a significant portion of LMI and minority applicants. Increasing pull-through not only benefits homebuyers, it also offers lenders a much-needed opportunity to grow loan volume in a tight market.

"DPA programs are crucial for promoting homeownership accessibility, particularly for first-time homebuyers, LMI homebuyers and homebuyers of color. Unfortunately, most loan officers don't pursue DPA on behalf of their clients because they don't know about existing programs or are hesitant to try something unfamiliar," said Rob Chrane, founder and CEO of Down Payment Resource. "Embedding Down Payment Resource's lender solutions in Encompass helps LOs overcome those apprehensions. Folding DPA functionality in the core origination gives LOs confidence that they can effectively originate DPA and make borrowers happy. We're giving lending staff everything they need to know the moment a loan needs to be created."

DPR maintains a comprehensive, up-to-date database of every DPA program in the nation. According to DPR's Q1 2024 HPI report, there are 2,373 homebuyer assistance programs available nationwide. All 3,143 U.S. counties have at least one DPA program, more than 2,000 counties have 10 or more programs, and the average DPA benefit is $17,000.

"We hope that by making mortgage staff 'instant experts' on DPA, more homebuyers can benefit from DPA," concluded Chrane.

FormFree and Brimma Tech announce partnership to expedite matching of prospective homebuyers with best-fit loan products and lenders

RALEIGH, N.C. /ScoopCloud/ -- Mortgage software development and solutions firm Brimma Tech (Brimma) today announced a strategic collaboration with ability-to-pay fintech FormFree®. The integration of Brimma's AI-enabled chatbot service into FormFree's Passport® mobile app will make it possible for prospective homebuyers to find their ideal loan product from the convenience of their mobile device, without the need to first complete a detailed loan application.

Passport gives consumers one place to manage their complete Financial DNA® - including assets, employment, income, public records, credit score and rent payment history - and makes it easy to securely share this information with lenders when shopping for a mortgage loan or other financial service.

Founded in 2016, Brimma is a sanctioned Solution Provider Partner for ICE Mortgage Technology® that helps mortgage lenders optimize their investments in technology through bespoke business optimization solutions. Brimma's Vallia Chat bridges the gap between the information in a lender's loan origination system (LOS) and the people who need it by allowing loan officers and consumers to ask questions and get answers in plain English.

"We're thrilled to partner with Brimma Tech to enhance our Passport mobile app with conversational interactions that expedite the matching of prospective homebuyers with best-fit loan products and the lenders that provide them," said FormFree Founder and CEO Brent Chandler, who will join Brimma's advisory board as part of the deal. "Together, we can provide consumers and lenders with even more accurate and timely data to make informed lending decisions."

Said Brimma CEO Supree Periasamy, "We are excited to join forces with Brent and his team to combine FormFree's industry-leading ability-to-pay analytics with Vallia Chat's comprehensive understanding of loan underwriting guidelines and sophisticated parsing of borrower interactions. We also welcome Brent to our advisory board, where his experience will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and enhance our offerings in the financial technology space."

FormFree integrates AccountChek 3n1 one-stop VOE/VOIE into Encompass®

ATHENS, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- FormFree® has partnered with ICE Mortgage Technology™, part of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE), a leading global provider of data, technology and market infrastructure,  to make its AccountChek 3n1 asset, income and employment verification service available in Encompass®, the mortgage industry's leading cloud-based loan origination platform.

The seamless API integration allows lenders to order, manage and review verification of asset (VOA) and verification of income/employment (VOIE) reports with a single provider selection in Encompass. By consolidating VOA and VOIE orders through a single vendor, mortgage lenders improve efficiency in the loan origination process, reduce per-loan costs and streamline vendor due diligence.

FormFree's AccountChek 3n1 securely delivers direct-source VOA and VOI/E data in less than a minute, significantly shortening loan application timelines and collecting critical underwriting documents earlier in the application process.

VOA (Asset Report)

For over 10 years, FormFree VOA has helped borrowers skip the paper chase when qualifying for a loan. Borrowers send their direct-source financial data straight to lenders in an underwriting-friendly format that reduces delays, manual errors and fraud risk. Real-time insight into borrowers' assets, income and employment enables better credit decisioning.

Key features include:

* Average connection time of just 22 seconds

* Available with 30, 60, 90 and 180-day refresh periods

* Government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) rep and warrant relief eligible

VOIE (Income and Employment Report)

Several of today's popular VOI and VOE solutions have a success rate of less than 50%, requiring lenders to fall back on manual verification processes that are slow and result in a diminished borrower experience. FormFree's VOIE product covers 85% of all U.S. workers (over 100 million wage earners), saving lenders time and improving margins.

Key features include:

* Flat pricing significantly lower than market alternatives

* Up to 6 most recent pay stubs and 2 years of W-2s

* One free report refresh prior to close

"Now mortgage lenders can get all three core verifications - assets, income and employment - from one trusted partner within the familiar Encompass environment," said FormFree CEO Brent Chandler. "By combining VOA and VOIE, FormFree's AccountChek 3n1 eliminates the cost and headache of managing multiple vendors, helps loan teams work more efficiently and delivers a world-class borrower experience that expedites pre-approvals and increases loan pull-through."

About FormFree®

FormFree® is a market-leading fintech company whose revolutionary products AccountChek® and Passport® make for a more inclusive credit decisioning landscape by enabling lenders to understand people's true ability to pay (ATP®).
