San Bernardino County Board of Education Candidate Maria Isabel Arias Reveals Info about SANDABS

SANDABS – underground organization

Some time ago the San Bernardino County Superintendent Ted Alejandre created the San Bernardino County District Advocates for Better Schools (SANDABS). SANDABS is an organization of school district board members (elected officials) and superintendents representing the member districts of San Bernardino County on state and national issues.

SANDABS member districts are eligible to have representation on the SANDABS executive committee, which is composed of nine school board members, nine district superintendents, and the county superintendent. Superintendents are selected by region to serve on the SANDABS executive committee. School board members are elected to SANDABS at the San Bernardino County School Boards Association’s (SBCSBA) annual meeting in January. The SBCSBA is not to be confused with the California School Board’s Association and is not affiliated with it. In fact, SBCSBA does not appear to be a legitimate organization. It is not a non-profit 501(c)(3); a political action committee or a Joint Powers Authority. Districts large and small benefit from SANDABS membership through high-quality legislative advocacy services. Membership dues directly support “advocacy” services and related expenses. It is unclear if membership dues are used to fund the salaries of employees of the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS). Records from the California Secretary of State reveal that the SBCSS is a registered lobbyist employer and controls the SANDABS lobbyist.

An executive committee directs the activities of SANDABS including monthly meetings with legislative updates from Sacramento and Washington, DC, monthly legislative reports to actively track and monitor proposed bills as they progress through the legislature, and delegation trips to Sacramento to advocate on budget and legislative support for public education.

In Violation of the Brown Act

The SBCSS argued for years that they were not covered under the Brown Act and were not required to allow public comment at their meeting. Arias’ understanding the Brown Act, disagreed and requested multiple times for SANDABS to allow public participation. In 2021, Arias, along with members of the #youtoomovement, filed a Brown Act complaint with the San Bernardino County District Attorney. The D.A.’s office forwarded the complaint to the California Attorney General’s office and, in February 2024, in a scathing opinion (see attached) against SBCSS, Attorney General Rob Bonta concluded that SANDABS had been violating the public’s rights and was required to follow the Brown Act and allow public participation as public comments. Shadow organizations

Superintended Alejandre cleverly hides behind the curtain when dealing with controversial issues. SANDABS is not registered as a political action committee or a charitable organization. San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS) provides staffing and facilities for SANDABS and even allows for a “web presence” on the SBCSS website paid for by the taxpayer. For years, Mr. Alejandre argued that SANDABS was a “volunteer committee”—a term he made up. SBCSS did not think it was subject to laws, like the Brown Act, that apply to government agencies. But the SBCSS budget includes $100,000 allocated to SANDABS. Once the budget is approved, the Superintendent gets to use that money as he wishes. The Superintendent has used the money to hire a lobbyist that reports directly to the SBCSS office and takes direction form the Superintendent. SANDABS is made up of elected officials and operated with the public’s money but yet the public is not allowed to comment.

SANDABS has taken positions in the past that are against the County Board’s best interest. For example, SANDABs supported AB 1505 which would have taken away the Board’s authority to authorize charter schools. During a hearing before the state Legislature, a SANDABS member leaked that Alejandre was supportive of the controversial position, exposing the fact that it is nothing more than a front for the County Superintendent of Schools which he uses when it is politically convenient. This earned the ire of the California Charter Schools Association who was opposed to AB1505. The San Bernardino City Unified School District board voted to terminate their membership in SANDABS based on public comments against SANDABS made by the Charter Association and members of the public.

SBCSS also runs the San Bernardino County School Board Association whose name misleads one to conclude that it is a subset of the California School Boards Association. But, SBCSBA is independent of the state formal association and it is essentially controlled by the County Superintendent who provides staff and government resources to operate it. Stephanie Houston—an SBCSS employee—is on the SBCSBA board. Houston also sits on the Chaffey Community College Board.

Moving forward

The County Superintendent has failed students in the county on many levels as evidence by the fact that 93% of the students in his programs are below grade level. SBCSS has a budget of $452.8 Million dollars and only 6.9 % of the students read at grade level. Only 4% can do math at grade level. High School students can only read at 4th grade reading level. With very little oversight, he has avoided accountability and transparency and has abused his public office to advance his personal interests rather than those of the people of the county. Let’s make a change in 2026, it is time for a change. We need accountability at the County level.

School districts are suing special needs children, says Maria Isabel Arias, Candidate for San Bernardino County Board of Education, Area C

FONTANA, Calif., Nov. 4, 2024 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — “When I first enrolled my children in the school district, I had no idea that merely asking for help with their education would lead me to the courtroom,” says Maria Isabel Arias, a Candidate for San Bernardino County Board of Education, Area C. The litigious road of special education is a well-kept secret, and the vast public does not know that the education tax dollars they are contributing to special education, are actually being diverted to the courtroom instead of the classroom. In many instances, the cost of the lawsuits far exceeds the cost of special education services that parents are requesting.

How does a child get sued?

The law that governs special education is the Individual with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This law states that a “team”, not the parents of a child; get to make decisions about their education. The parent is one of the members of the team but is outnumbered by the majority of the team comprised of school district employees and administrators. When there is a disagreement, it is resolved through the “Due Process” system.

“Due process” in special education refers to a legal procedure that allows parents of a child with a disability to formally dispute decisions made by a school district regarding their child’s identification, evaluation, educational placement, or the provision of special education services, giving them the right to a hearing where they can present evidence and arguments to resolve disagreements with the school district about their child’s educational needs; essentially, it promises a fair process to address concerns about a child’s special education program. Since it is the child who is entitled to the educational services, the parents are only representatives of the child and the parents can either request a hearing on behalf of the child or, in many cases, it is the school district who files the legal proceedings against the child. Basically, the child gets served with a lawsuit. This happened to each one of my three children. My school board had no clue of the initiation of due process.

Your TAX dollars at work, funding lawyers

Due process has all the components of litigation. It has a judge (Office of Administrated Hearing Judge), demandant (petitioner) and respondent (defendant). This process is very expensive, it costs taxpayer thousands of dollars. The process is very unfair, school districts have a full-time legal advisor helping them with the case, advisors, etc., ALL funded by TAXPAYERS. Parents have no resources. Note, district legal counsel gets paid whether they win or lose. Again, due process is completely funded by taxpayers. On the other hand, parents must fund their own legal advisor and witnesses.

Special education in California is based on a system of unelected bureaucrats, called Special Education Local Plan Areas (SELPAs). These are shadow entities and many taxpayers do not even know they exist. The West End Special Education Local Plan Area (Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Chino Valley, Central, Mountain View, Mt. Baldy) has an annual budget of over $300 Million and employs multiple out of town for profit law firms who specialize in suing students with disabilities to quash parent’s requests for special education services. Untold millions of tax dollars are spent throughout San Bernardino County on these lawsuits when this money could be better spent on reading programs like Lindamood-Bell (a specialized reading service sought by families) or behavior supports rather than making lawyers rich.

For profit law firms have learned to milk the system and have become special interest groups with great influence over school district staff who simply defer to whatever the for-profit lawyers tell them to do. We have seen many examples of the injustices done to children with disabilities. Lawyers in Alta Loma, sued two brothers in a 48 hour period. They subsequently filed motions to remove the parent as the guardian. Thankfully, they failed. In Chaffey Joint, the same out of town law firms, defied the district’s own psychologist’s opinion and tried to remove a parent as the guardian for an adult with autism. They failed and the Judge found that the attorney representing the district, violated a court order. In Upland, the same lawyers went to Court to get a parent to pay $42,000 for an expert that they never used in the proceeding. They failed, but they got our tax dollars just the same.

Currently, the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools, pays the lawyers for the districts. This process is done in secrecy and without approval by the local school boards, so the public never sees the lawsuits. Instead, these decisions are being made in a back room between school administrators and the lawyers who stand to make a profit from instigating disputes. Lawyers do not get paid to help children read. They get paid to go to court, so that’s what they do.

Transparency is the Solution

The lack of local control and transparency has led to abuse and misuse of public funds. Oftentimes, special education dollars are used to litigate against children to deny them needed special education services, rather than provide them with an appropriate education. Students with disabilities are being treated as second class citizens and being denied the very basic access to their elected officials (school board members). For example, in the Fontana district, the school board has washed their hands of students with disabilities and is clueless about who their district is suing. At a school board meeting, I notified the board that the district had sued my children and had to literally make a copy of the front page of the lawsuit. Board members had no idea that the lawyers working for them had sued my children, in the name of the district. Through public records requests, I found out that the Fontana SELPA approved contracts for over $600,000 to hire lawyers to sue kids with disabilities.

Elected official oversight, which is at the core of our democratic process needs to be brought into special education. Decisions to engage in litigation should be made by elected school board members, not by administrators and out of town litigators who stand to profit from suing kids.

Georgia Black Women’s Roundtable Mobilizes Women and Youth to ‘Overload the Polls’ on First Day of Early Voting

ATLANTA, Ga., Oct. 17, 2024 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — In a powerful show of civic engagement, state and local leaders converged upon the C.T. Martin Recreation Center polling location on Tuesday for a press conference in support of “Overload the Polls,” a statewide voter mobilization effort kicking off the first day of early voting. Spearheaded by Georgia Black Women’s Roundtable (BWR), Georgia Coalition for the People’s Agenda (People’s Agenda), RISE, Black Youth Vote, and other advocacy organizations, the initiative rolled out in 32 counties across the state, aiming to drive a surge in voter participation.

This widespread effort underscored the growing influence of women and young voters, and surely contributed to the historic turnout, with over 300,000 people casting their ballots on the first day of early voting—more than double the record set in 2020.

Atlanta City Councilwoman Andrea Boone encouraged community involvement saying, “We want our neighbors to pick up their neighbors, text their church members, and ask businesses if they’ve voted. Then, we’re going to party at the polls.”

Georgia Black Women's Roundtable (GA BWR) treated staff, volunteers, local and national leaders, and members of the community to a night filled with tasty food, great company, and a lot of laughter when they hosted a Power of the Ballot Debate Watch Party and Comedy Show this past Friday, October 14 at IBEW Local 613. The event kicked off a weekend of organizing as election activists hit the streets to educate and motivate citizens to be among the first to cast a ballot for early voting which begins on Monday, October 17.

"We are beginning this very serious mobilization phase with a fun event because our workers and volunteers have been pounding the pavement for months and we know how hard it will get over the next few weeks to motivate and mobilize frustrated voters," expressed Helen Butler, executive director of Georgia Coalition for the People's Agenda (People's Agenda) and convener of GA BWR.

Butler continues, "We are also fighting voter suppression tactics so we are training more poll workers than usual and, if it's anything like 2021, we may have to deal with angry voters retaliating because they believed there was voter fraud. Black voters understand the power of the ballot and will turn out like they did in 2020 so we want to make sure they can vote. We have a lot of work to do so it was great to relax and enjoy the comediennes."

In addition to Butler, members of GA BWR that organized the event included: Felicia Davis, Clayton County Black Women's Roundtable; Deborah Scott, GA STAND-UP; and Sandra L. Dan Robin, Attorney General Candidate in Illinois, Offers Best Possible Challenge to President Biden’s Student Loan Forgiveness

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. /ScoopCloud/ -- Dan Robin, Libertarian Party (LP) candidate for Illinois Attorney General (AG), intends to file a lawsuit against the student loan servicers for fraud if they follow President Biden's forgiveness plans.

"President Biden's student loan forgiveness executive order is illegal," Robin says. "He lacks legislative authority. But, does anyone have standing to challenge it?"

Robin does. He plans to file suit against the loan servicers for fraud. Billing for the lower amount, when in fact the full amount is due, is fraud. Borrowers will incur extra interest and penalties if they follow the "misrepresentation" of the collection agencies.

In response to the President's student loan plan, Robin issued the following statement:

President Biden's August 24, 2022 statement and release canceled $10,000 of student loans for those with income up to $125,000 for individuals and $250,000 for married couples. No statute gives the President authority to "cancel" debt across the board, as he did.

Many laws and/or executive orders are illegal or unconstitutional. You cannot simply ask a judge to declare a law to be unlawful. You must have standing; a real case where you allege existing or potential injury. Students receiving the loan cancellation aren't going to sue; students not receiving the cancellation have no injury. Taxpayers and politicians have no standing to sue, either.

It is very difficult to find anyone who can lawfully challenge the president's executive order, but there is one possible exception. The Pacific Legal Foundation recently filed suit claiming that their client, a student borrower, would be taxed by the state of Indiana for discharged debt. I wish them all the luck in their endeavors.

The current Illinois AG Kwame Raoul recently settled a lawsuit against the student loan servicers for fraud associated with their collection techniques. The Attorney General has authority to enforce the consumer fraud statutes in Illinois. It is my theory that since the cancellation is unlawful and the collection agencies are mandated to honestly represent the correct amount due to the borrowers, any statement that they owe the reduced amount would constitute a material misrepresentation of fact, i.e., fraud. Student borrowers will incur extra interest and penalties if they follow the misrepresentation of the collection agencies.

Therefore, if elected to the office of Attorney General, I would file suit against any collection agency that misrepresented to the borrowers the amount due. The agencies would then have a choice, either collect on the lesser amount and be sued by myself, or collect on the original amount and be sued by the president.

The people of Illinois deserve to know whether my opponents intend to prevent fraud by the student loan servicers.

Helen Butler, GCPA Executive Director, Statement On Election Integrity In Georgia Primary

ATLANTA, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- Helen Butler, executive director of the Georgia Coalition for the People's Agenda (GCPA), issued the following statement about election integrity during the Georgia Primary on May 24, 2022:

"We are still assessing the impact of the numerous problems Georgia voters reported across the state, and will provide a formal briefing in the near future. Today, based on reports from coordinators and coalition members across the state, we can say that several locations opened late, machines were broken, and we had reports of voters receiving error messages. A few precincts, including Savannah High, reported that machines were not operating for the first few hours and they didn't provide provisional ballots until after 9 a.m.

"We received several complaints about voters who got the incorrect voting precinct on MVP. Once voters found out they received erroneous precinct information, rather than have a system to accommodate those voters, some voters were sent to another wrong polling place. The mix-up appears to be related to an inadequate amount of time to provide voters with correct precinct information between the acceptance of redistricting maps and the date of the primaries. Elections officials anticipated this problem and requested to change the date of the primaries, however, the Georgia legislature decided not to reschedule.

"Details matter. To protect the integrity of the election we must give election officials and staff enough time to disseminate correct information. The only way for every eligible voter to cast a ballot that counts is for them to receive accurate information from their board of elections. Voters have jobs, families and other responsibilities and should not have to travel from precinct to precinct in search of a place to vote. Instead of focusing on ways to make voting harder, our legislature and elected officials should make voting easier and ensure that we have fail-safe backup systems for people who are provided inaccurate information by the board of elections.

"Another issue we encountered was people who changed their names on their drivers license but the name wasn't automatically updated in the system. One person that had this issue went home to get their passport but with the strict ID requirements, some voters don't have an alternate acceptable form of ID and others don't have time or transportation to go home for more ID. We must make sure that the automatic voter registration system is automatic.

"Clearly, as we progress to the General Election, Georgia officials need to spend less time thinking of ways to restrict voting and more time focused on protecting the integrity of our elections by providing reliable information to voters, maintaining working voting machines, opening all precincts on time, and improving systems to ensure that democracy works for all voters."

The New York Young Elite Association hosted a fundraiser for Tom Suozzi

NEW YORK, N.Y. /ScoopCloud/ -- The New York Young Elite Association (NYYEA) hosted a fundraiser for New York State Governor candidate and Congressman Tom Suozzi at the Penn Club on March 30th. During his tenure as the County Executive of Nassau County -- which is more significant than 11 states and has the 12th largest police department in the country - it had the lowest crime rate of all communities with over 500,000 people. The current New York City Police Commissioner, Keechant Sewell, was a police officer promoted by Suozzi when she was serving in the Nassau County Police Department.

Suozzi also turned down New York City Mayor Eric Adams to become his Deputy Mayor.

"I'm not going to be your Deputy Mayor," Suozzi said. "I'm running for Governor... I can do more to help you from the Governor I can be than as your deputy mayor."

Suozzi also said he is willing to work with everybody, regardless of their political affiliation. He also pointed out that the recently passed infrastructure bill was due to bipartisan efforts, a belief he strongly champions. He also supports tax reduction.

"I will always be a commonsense Democrat," Suozzi said. "I will work with anybody. I will work with Democrats or Republicans, and I will work with progressives, I will work with moderates, I will work with conservatives, I will work with anybody.

"I won't abandon my values, but I will work with anybody to solve problems that surely help people."

NYYEA President John JD Liu said the current downward trend of public safety and hate crimes against the Asian community is a priority of immediate attention. Liu also said he would back Suozzi for his governorship bid, which would also benefit the overall interest of the local Chinese community.

Lincoln County Voters Triumph as Board of Elections Scraps Plans to Close 7 Polling Locations

LINCOLNTON, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- After several attempts by the Lincoln County Board of Elections to reduce the number of polling places in Lincoln County Georgia, the Georgia Coalition for the People's Agenda and other voting rights groups were elated that the voice of the voters was heard and their efforts to stop the board from closing seven locations to create one was successful.

Rev. Denise Freeman, a local civil and human rights activist who led the efforts to collect signatures from voters on two separate petitions said, "Ï would love to be able to celebrate the hard work of Lincoln County voters to stop the board from consolidating seven polling locations into one but I can't. There's still work to do to make sure that every eligible voter in Lincoln County is able to cast a ballot that counts in the upcoming Midterm Elections."

The Lincoln County Board of Elections voted 3-0 against closing polling places on Wednesday.

Helen Butler, executive director of the Georgia Coalition for the People's Agenda said, "The voters made sure their voices were heard. They knocked on doors and collected the required signatures for the petition to stop the plan to reduce the polling places to one. Needless to say, the board pivoted and announced an alternative plan to reduce the locations to three, nullifying the petition."

Talking to a group of about 300 women attending the Black Women's Roundtable National Summit in Washington, DC Butler continues, "They were playing games with the peoples' right to vote. But, in less than a week we were able to assist the Lincoln County voters in collecting signatures to stop the second plan, and we were ready to go a third time but the board decided to keep seven polling locations. This is indicative of power voters have by being engaged in the process. The people spoke and elected officials had to listen."

The petition presented with the requisite names in December reads, "We, the undersigned Lincoln County registered voters do hereby object to a proposal by the Lincoln County Board of Elections to close our current polling locations and to create a single polling location for all Lincoln County voters."

The petition drive was coordinated by the Georgia Coalition for the People's Agenda, Common Cause Georgia, Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights, Black Voters Matter, Southern Poverty Law Center and Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials. Local activists and community members helping to coordinate are: Rev. Denise Freeman, civil/human rights activist, Bishop Willie Jackson, Christ Centered Outreach Ministry, and Rev. It is being renamed this year to District 2 in West Virginia because of the State's shrinking population they lost another Congressional Seat. Craig Roberts is now running against two establishment millionaire Republicans, and he is a working-class candidate. He runs an online Judeo-Christian Church called Temple 420 where he recently did a 7-week online Bible study about the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. He was heavily censored and although very proud of the work it didn't build up a following because of censorship.

Pool is creating an online beef with the candidate. Roberts went their offices, which were listed on Apple maps as, "Tim Pool Cast Castle" to leave his information with Security that was non-existent. After being invited into the house by "Ben" and explaining he was not with James O'Keefe and his group he asked to leave his info and Ben insisted he speak to the guys in the studio. There was a brief encounter with Luke Rudowski where Luke said, "Leave your info with Ben."

"As I was writing down my information, when someone or several people started calling my name multiple times." The candidate claims he knocked on the door and the video shows Ben admitting he waved Craig into the house. "I was never more than 10 feet from the door and always in the presence of Ben. The only time I stepped away from the kitchen counter where I was writing my info for the show's producer was when they called my name."

Tim Pool's and the Candidates stories differ. The candidate claims he stepped away from the kitchen counter to see who was calling his name and the moment he turned around there was giant SRL camera on a gib in his face and was confronted by a guy named Chris making it look as if he had just walked in the house and was wandering around aimlessly without being invited in by Ben. The candidate says, "Ben invited me in, I politely explained myself and Ben gave me a pen and paper to write my info on. They are making their viewers believe I broke in for clickbait, but I am happy for the publicity I was not seeking."

"Most of my donations have been for $4.20" said the Congressional candidate. "I want to serve the country, but it is hard to raise money when you are an unknown person. I thought Tim could help."

The candidate has been using social media to build a following but is continually banned and censored for his unpopular beliefs. He's anti-vaxx mandates and pro-marijuana. "I produced shows for Cali-Plug Studio prior to the plandemic and we had an armed guard with an audience a millionth the size of Pool's. It was my intention to speak to their security and there was none, so Tim's video accusing me of breaking and entering is a lie, clickbait. I was trying to leave my info not be a part of his world."

"When Glenn Beck had me on CNN there was security that I had to pass through," claimed the candidate. "I have known about Luke for years from his films, but this Pool character," the candidate chimed on stating he hadn't heard of Tim until he recently had Joe Rogan and Alex Jones on his show. "I am in films with Joe Rogan and Alex Jones. Joe was at Temple 420 the very first time I preached the Word." The candidate from West Virginia claims to have a lot of weird encounters with celebrities and has written several books. "Joe, Eddie Bravo and producer Kevin Booth all came to hear me preach my first time on Hollywood Blvd. and I absolutely sucked!"

What equal opportunities are being denied by whom, what policies, what is lacking. Sometimes social workers violate their ethics code by siding with homeless and criminals.

Corruption: The cost of corruption is trillions and it wrecks the economy. Watchdogs, ethics commissions, human rights organizations, whistleblowers, investigative journalists, The FBI's International Corruption Unit (ICU), Global Anti-Corruption Consortium, and others have exposed the havoc and lack of proper laws to rectify this serious problem.

Crimes: The day by day variations of crimes is shameful, it exhibits the inadequacy of laws, responsible surveillance, education, distribution of resources to help people out of crime and poverty stricken communities.

Religion: Persons internationally come from an assortment of cultures, races and religions. Nonetheless, religious places of worship should not be subject to animosity, gossip, harassment, fraud, embezzlement, physical and mental abuse. Places of worship are to peacefully congregate.

Teenagers, Roommates: Teenagers should be taught to live conscientiously and if they become roommates to live without breaking laws of etiquette, no stealing, loud parties, intimate violence, drugs, not making it miserable for their roommates by participating in activities that would be injurious to the other tenants.

Parents: Tell kids not to trust strangers, educate them with good judgment.

Transparency and accountability: What good are if all laws are made and the persons enforcing them bend them and circumvent them pursuant to their selfish needs? There should be persons overseeing each sector, department, and government agency.

Royalty and those in office: No one should be above the law, they should not be immune from criminal, human rights abuses and other offenses regardless of monetary or heritage. No attacking of innocent citizens or others.

Immigrants: The distinct types of immigrants come to each country for special causes. Immigrants and their children, babies should not be harmed, harassed and left in danger. It is a humanitarian disaster. That crisis needs a lot of organizations and spaces to not treat immigrants as stray animals in cages.

Reforms: By paying attention to the populace and their troubles the policies, laws, can change or create a new preferably to continue with the same inoperative manners.

Forwarding thinking is part of how you create excitement to mentor future leaders. Mr. Fisher has mastered creating excitement.

Turning Words into Action

Today I am proud to announce that I will use any funds generated from the office of Hopkins Mayor, typically going to the mayor themself, plus some personal funds, to create a Raspberry Scholarship Fund. Funds will be donated for the lifetime of my service to the Hopkins Community.

I have already connected with Mr. Fisher and this Scholarship will be used to help low-income families pay for childcare costs and to participate in the Civics Enrichment camps and classes he plans to start.

As I have previously shared, my goal is to give as many people access to participate in local government as possible. More participation makes us stronger. I look forward to being able to mentor those in Mr. Fisher's program and see this partnership create new strong civic leaders for Hopkins.

Connecting with Community

I have already started connecting with local banks & community organizations to expand the fund beyond just myself. We are lucky here in the city of Hopkins, MN to have a strong sense of civic responsibility.

Explaining that when rulers, politicians, countries, regions, etc. use their power to place innocent individuals in concentration camps, provide false medical misdiagnoses and conduct surveillance to ostracize groups, individuals, races, religion, tradition and social norms, it denies citizens freedom of speech and human rights.

Global problems such as school failures, pandemics, suicide, discrimination and governmental deficits all demonstrates taxpayers are wasting their money in useless programs instead of in proper usage.

"There's a vicious cycle of class disparity. The affluent often want to displace the poor from their dwellings and the villainous criminals blame normal residents. She is very likely to win in the primary and get elected to Congress -- unless a Republican can beat her.

Ms. Cisneros is sponsored by the extreme left group, Justice Democrats. This is the same organization that sponsored AOC before her victory. Cisneros has been endorsed by AOC and wants to bring these same extreme left policies to Texas. Cisneros supports open borders and wants to take jobs away from the oil and gas industry, which provide high-paying jobs to families in TX-28 and are essential to the Texas economy. The last thing the United States or South Texas needs is AOC 2.0 in Congress. I'm not going to let it happen. I gave up my active-duty military retirement, with just over three years left, to wage this fight.

There are very few districts in Congress that are truly competitive. Out of 38 districts in Texas, only two are competitive. The 28th district is one of them. This seat is winnable for Republicans, and I intend to win it. Families in South Texas are sick of the Biden immigration policies that put extreme strain on their communities. They are ready to elect a Representative that stands for border security, fights for their jobs, their families, and their security. They are ready to get rid of weak career politicians.
