Writing the song is one job. Getting it ready for an audience is another. After the audio is finished, creators may still need a different vocal version, localized lyrics, a music video, a vertical clip, cover art, and a poster. Those pieces often end up in separate tools and separate project folders. The upgrade is designed to keep more of that work connected to the track that started it.

MUSIC GENERATION REMAINS THE CORE

The AI music generator is still the starting point. A creator can describe a musical idea or enter lyrics, then generate a complete song with melody, arrangement, and vocals. Instrumental tracks, background music, beats, and soundtracks can begin the same way. Prompts can set the mood, tempo, style, or instruments without requiring a finished composition beforehand.

The first result does not have to be the final one. Add Vocal and Extend modes give creators room to keep working on the music itself, whether that means adding a sung part or developing a promising section into a longer piece. This matters to the larger studio idea: the product is not treating a generated song as a disposable draft. It is treating the song as the center of the project.

ONE SONG, MORE WAYS TO RELEASE IT

Once the track is in place, the same project can branch in several directions. An AI cover can explore a different vocal character when the source material is cleared for use. Translation and dubbing tools can help prepare a localized version for another language. These are not presented as replacements for the original song; they are ways to adapt it for a particular listener, market, or format.

“Any Other Way,” Wang’s most personal record to date, is an emotionally rich collection of shoegaze, indie folk and electronic dream pop that embraces vulnerability as a source of strength. Written across years of international travel and shaped by conversations with strangers along the way, the album moves through themes of love, loss, resilience and tenderness, including “Time Once Again,” a song written about the passing of Wang’s father.

The record features an international ensemble that mirrors its global influence. Serbian drummer Serge Milenkovic, Yugoslavia-born bassist and producer Aleksandar “Meksi” Sasha Panich and Taiwanese violinist Edith Lin bring together distinct musical backgrounds to create a unified and deeply expressive sound. Together, they craft sweeping arrangements that move effortlessly between intimate acoustic passages, expansive shoegaze textures and cinematic dream pop.

Anima Initiative and Wang partnered on this immersive concert experience following the success of her earlier show, InDreams Immersive Concert, where audiences reportedly remained in their seats for the full 90-minute performance. Rather than staging a traditional album release show, Wang and Anima conceived the event as a fully immersive world of her own making, assembling Bravewyld’s multidisciplinary team of collaborators, including projection and lighting designers, a fashion studio, florists and a dedicated soundscape partner, to transform the studio into what the creative team is calling a “forest clearing for the weary traveler.”

The result is an environment built around live performance, ambient soundscapes, 3D audio and layered lighting, projection and scent design, all in service of the album’s sound. Created in partnership with Los Angeles avant-garde atelier VENIA and with the support of Travel Town Museum Foundation, “VENIA’s Dear, Sincerely,” transforms the iconic railway grounds into a cinematic living storybook exploring migration, memory, industrial romance, and collective imagination through large-scale installation, live music, choreography, immersive sound, digital storytelling, and theatrical fashion presentation.

Marking Anima Initiative’s first large-scale public arts experience, the event brings together emerging and established artists across visual art, music, movement, experimental sound, and fashion within a single site-specific environment open to the city. Inspired by the symbolism of rail travel during the Second Industrial Revolution, the experience unfolds through a five-part narrative arc — Discovery, Adaptation, Memory, Integration, and Departure — tracing the emotional landscape between leaving one world behind and arriving in another.

From 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, guests are invited to explore immersive activations and live performances across the museum grounds.

Featured acclaimed collaborators include visual artists DeAngelo Ableidinger and Dilan Torres; avant-garde saxophonist Patrick Shiroishi; pianist Nelson Diaz; experimental musician Dylan Fujioka; layered environmental sound design by Dolce Wang; and an original audio composition weaving stories from Ukrainian refugees by award-winning composer Luke Mombrea and award-winning arts journalist Polina Cherezova.

The experience will also feature a newly commissioned ensemble choreography by Masha Cherezova, alongside digital collaborations with immersive media company 4DV and inspirational shopping agent app VIBA, curated alongside Zoey Zhu.

At 6:00 PM, the evening culminates in VENIA’s theatrical runway presentation accompanied by a special live performance from Arcana Nomadica — the internationally renowned chamber ensemble featuring Luanne Homzy, Felix Korchendorfer, Nikolai Sivchuk, and Marco Perciavalle.

The winning piece will be performed and professionally recorded during LCO’s 2026–2027 season, with the composer receiving a $1,200 cash prize and a $300 travel stipend.

Now in its sixth year, the competition exemplifies the LCO’s charitable mission: to make high-quality classical music freely accessible to all while promoting today’s living composers. All LCO concerts are free to attend, ensuring that every new work premiered through the Call for Scores reaches audiences regardless of financial means.

As part of LCO’s mission to increase the cultural footprint of the city of Lowell, LCO runs two competitions – one for composers and one for performers – to bring the best world talent to Lowell, and help promote the careers of young talent. All LCO concerts are free to attend, bringing down the socio-economic barriers to access prime quality classical music concerts.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, audiences will have a chance to hear last year’s young artist competition winner – violist Jeremy Kienbaum, who will be performing romances by Max Bruch and Adolphus Hailstork.

Other works in the program include the beloved “Pulcinella” by Igor Stravinsky, and the American premiere of “Till Voices Wake Us,” by Simon Andrews (winner of LCO’s 2024 Call-for-Scores).

Lowell Chamber Orchestra announces winner of its International Call-for-Scores

LOWELL, Mass., March 10, 2025 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The Lowell Chamber Orchestra (LCO) is pleased to introduce Helder Alves de Oliveira the winner of its 2025 International Call-for-Scores. His score “Resiliens” was chosen following a completely anonymous process of evaluating 138 entries from all over the world based on merits of originality, orchestration, structure, and other compositional techniques. His work will be performed during LCO’s 2025-2026 season, and Mr. Oliveira will receive a monetary prize.

Mr. Oliveira is a Brazilian composer, pianist and music educator, holds a PhD in Music Composition from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He was a 2019–20 Fulbright Visiting Researcher at LSU, and has received several composition awards in Brazil, USA, Germany, Portugal, Canada, Ireland and Denmark.

“Congratulations to Helder, and everyone who participated,” says LCO’s Music Director Orlando Cela. “We are very pleased with the result and look forward to performing this fabulous work next season.” Cela continues, “We are particularly glad with the completely anonymous process and rotating judges, which allows for absolute fairness. The Lowell Chamber Orchestra is Lowell’s first and only professional orchestra. We provide the area with an ensemble that presents music at a very high level, of all styles and time periods, entirely free to the general population. Now in its sixth season, the LCO has presented concerts that encompass established orchestral repertoire as well as multimedia works, stage works, lecture-presentations, and chamber music. As part of its mission of promoting, preserving and educating, the repertoire include works from the Baroque, to current commissions.

The LCO has presented over a dozen local and world premieres by Anna Clyne, Brian Raphael Nabors, José Luis Elizondo, Anthony R. Green, Bongani Ndodana-Breen, Jeremy Gill, and many others.
