London AI Startup Offers Free Tool to Make AI-Written Text Undetectable – And a Detector to Catch It

LONDON, UK, March 25, 2026 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Coda One has built two tools that probably shouldn’t exist in the same company. One rewrites AI-generated text so it reads like a person wrote it. The other scans any text and tells you exactly how much of it looks machine-made. Both are free. Neither requires an account.

The London-based startup launched both tools on the same platform, and founder Miles Wong doesn’t see a contradiction.

“Everyone’s using AI to write now. That’s not the issue,” Miles said. “The issue is that most of it reads like AI wrote it — and Google knows, your editor knows, your professor knows. We built one tool for the people writing, and one for the people checking. Turns out they’re often the same person.”

The humanizer isn’t subtle about what it does. Paste in a block of ChatGPT output, pick a mode — Academic, Blog, Formal, or six others — and it comes back rewritten. Different sentence lengths. Different word choices. The kind of small imperfections that make text feel human. Miles says the output consistently passes major detection platforms including GPTZero, Turnitin, and Originality.ai.

The detector works the other way. Feed it any text and it highlights sentences that look AI-generated, with a probability score for each. It’s free with no daily cap — Wong’s reasoning being that if you’re going to sell a humanizer, you’d better give people a way to check the result.

What’s interesting is who’s actually using these tools. It’s not mainly students. Wong says the biggest user group is content marketers and SEO teams. Agencies producing blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions at scale. They draft with AI because it’s fast, then humanize because Google’s algorithm updates have made AI-pattern content a ranking liability. The detector gets used on the other end — editors and clients checking deliverables before they go live.

The academic use case exists too. Universities have rolled out detection tools. Students want to use AI as a starting point without getting flagged. Old Vine Registry Passes 4,000 entries: Vineyards planted in 1990 now eligible for inclusion

Wine growers are encouraged to submit their vineyards to the global crowd-sourced database that continues to grow and thrive

LONDON, England, Jan. 27, 2025 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — The Old Vine Registry, the world’s first and most authoritative database of old vine vineyards marked the new year having accumulated more than 4,000 entries from 39 countries, making steady progress to a goal of registering 10,000 vineyards by 2027.

With the changing of the year, vineyards planted in 1990 are now 35 years old and are eligible for inclusion in the registry. Producers are encouraged to submit their vineyards at https://www.oldvineregistry.org/.

The OIV’s recently passed Resolution OIV-VITI 703-2024 “OIV definition and recommendations about old grapevines and old vineyards in the vitivinicultural sector” made the explicit recommendation to all wine regions around the world to “promote and encourage the cataloguing of old vineyards and old grapevines.”

The Old Vine Registry was conceived expressly for that purpose, with the idea that in order to study, preserve, or support old vines around the world, you first need to know where they all are. The registry launched in June of 2023 with 2183 entries and has grown steadily over the last year and a half.

“The recent OIV Resolution really validated what we’re doing,” says wine writer Alder Yarrow, who serves as the day-to-day manager of the registry. “I hope it will encourage both individual producers and whole regions to publish information about their old vines.”

The Old Vine Registry is also seeking both volunteers willing to research old vineyards, as well as financial donors willing to support the non-profit project. Interested parties should e-mail oldvineregistry@gmail.com.

The Old Vine Registry is the world's first and largest database cataloguing vineyards aged more than 35 years of age around the world. The registry aims to be a resource for the wine industry, academia, and consumers to discover and learn about old vineyards, as well as a conduit for the sale of wines made from these vineyards. Originally started by Jancis Robinson, the Registry launched as a crowd-sourced, public resource on the web in June of 2023, funded by a donation from Jackson Family Wines and managed by Alder Yarrow of Vinography.Com.

Citizens Commission on Human Rights Demands the Royal College of Psychiatrists End the Use of ECT and All Coercive Psychiatric Practices

EDINBURGH, Scotland /ScoopCloud/ -- The UN and World Health Organization issued mental health guidance in October 2023, but the Royal College of Psychiatry (RCPsych) has still failed to direct members to comply. They have not directed members to cease using ECT (electroconvulsive treatment) and have not demanded an end to involuntary commitment. Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) staged a march through Edinburgh and a protest at the RCPsych annual International Congress, demanding the organization immediately act to protect the human rights and health of the people of the UK.

The UN guidance states: "Coercive practices in mental health care violate the right to be protected from torture or cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment." It calls for informed consent before any use of ECT, stating individuals who are "offered ECT should also be made aware of all its risks and potential short- and long-term harmful effects, such as memory loss and brain damage." And it states ECT on children "should be prohibited through legislation." The UK must act now to protect the human rights of those caught in the mental health system, says CCHR.

According to the UK National Health Service 2022-23 report, there were 51,312 cases of involuntary commitment in the UK that year alone. What's more, the National Health Service paid for 1,989 acute courses of ECT to 1,835 individual patients in 2021. (An acute course of ECT is 6 to 12 treatments.) In 2019, more than a third of the ECTs administered were carried out without patient consent, 18 percent of which were even carried out without the second opinion required by the National Health Service.

To raise awareness of the need for immediate action to end these and other harmful practices, CCHR brought its Psychiatry: An Industry of Death Traveling Exhibit to Edinburgh to coincide with the Royal College of Psychiatrists 2024 International Congress. That visitors to the exhibit at the Edinburgh Training and Conference Venue at 16 St Mary's St. in Edinburgh were shocked to learn the facts and the history of ECT and other inhumane psychiatric practices is clear from feedback of those who toured:

* An Austrian psychologist said she was sure that ECT was no longer used in her country and was horrified to learn that it is.

* A veterinary nurse said that if an animal is aggressive, it would be tested thoroughly to see what medical and physical problems might be causing it. It would not simply be given a drug. "Why don't they do that with people?" she asked. She herself has been on Prozac for 15 years and has tried several times unsuccessfully to withdraw from it.

* A Spanish psychologist who has seen ECT being used in hospitals asked CCHR to bring the exhibit to Spain to help bring reform to his country.

Thousands Gather for Easter Extravaganza at Church of Scientology in East Grinstead

Throughout the afternoon, nonstop entertainment and family fun included fairground rides from Lenny the Land Train, a petting zoo, donkey rides, bouncy castles, a bungee trampoline, a slippery pole game, sack races, kite flying, face-painting, arts & crafts, and a play area for the little ones. Selfie stations throughout the park and an indoor photo booth helped capture memories of the day.

Peter Rabbit is a favorite of the younger children at the Easter Extravaganza at Saint Hill in the UK.

Visitors expressed their appreciation: "Thank you for making it so special for the kids," said one family. Another noted that event staff made sure that older brothers and sisters didn't prevent younger kids from collecting their share. Whenever this came up, they ran to set out more eggs so there were plenty for the little ones.

Event organizer Mathilde Jensen thanked the many volunteers and the families who traveled from near and far to make the Easter Extravaganza a great success. "You all helped make it such fun."

According to a March 20 news release on the Gov.uk website, the UK government has issued a ban on new synthetic opioids. "We are determined to ensure these destructive and lethal drugs do not take hold in our communities in the UK," said Crime and Policing Minister Chris Philp in the article.

But in America, simply banning these drugs has not been enough: Illicit opiates are responsible for the spike in the country's overdose deaths. This is why drug education is a vital part of any drug-prevention strategy.

According to the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, "For every dollar spent on prevention, at least ten can be saved in future health, social and crime costs."

"The only solution is to educate youth, so they don't start taking drugs in the first place," says Jessica Hochman, Executive Director of Foundation for a Drug-Free World. ‘Stop Stigmatizing Children for Normal Childhood Behavior’ Says Citizen’s Commission on Human Rights Executive Director for the UK

"When it's Children's Mental Health Week, it's ironic that attention isn't actually focused on children's mental health. Instead, the focus is on mental 'illness' and the host of psychiatric 'disorders' used to label various aspects of childhood."

Psychiatrists have even gone so far as to label difficulties with mathematics or reading as "impairments" in their diagnostic manuals, and normal childhood behavior has been categorized as a so-called mental "disorder."

Daniels began blowing the whistle on violations of human rights in the field of mental health when his own eyes were opened to these abuses after his aunt was institutionalized. On a visit to his aunt's hospital, he says, "I expected to see people getting better. But what I saw was people experiencing some kind of 'zombie' effect. They looked like they'd been beaten up or assaulted."

He began looking into psychiatry and discovered Citizens Commission on Human Rights, and soon became the organization's executive director in the UK. He and his volunteers educate the public on coercive psychiatric practices and document abuses to bring about reform. They have exposed criminal practices in the psychiatric industry and helped bring about the banning of the prescription and use of seven drugs on children shown to increase the risk of suicide in those under the age of 18.

"Children and adolescents are being chemically restrained, some for lengthy periods of time. Consequently, they experience the debilitating effects that go hand-in-hand with the drugs," wrote Daniels. "The saddest and most tragic aspect of it all is some children don't make it. They take their own lives after taking drugs like antidepressants that are known to cause suicidal thoughts and suicidal behavior. Parents who have lost their children have said they would never have let their children take the psychiatric drugs if they had been fully informed and knew the truth."

For decades, CCHR chapters throughout the world have been documenting and reporting inhumane and dangerous practices of coercive psychiatry. Last October, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Office of the High Commissioner on Human Rights (OHCHR) issued guidelines to end abuses and coercive practices in mental health care.

Much work is still needed to bring about real and lasting reform, and Daniels and his team will continue exposing criminal activity and educating the public to protect them from abuse in the field of mental health.

The Old Vine Registry is a search-based tool designed for users to search for anything they might be looking for in the realm of old vines but, explains Yarrow, "The real magic and benefit of The Old Vine Registry is the 'Find wines from this vineyard' functionality which directs the user to wine-searcher.com and closes the commercial loop that old vines desperately need. It's one thing to champion old vine vineyards and talk about their value but if no one is actually buying, tasting and enjoying the wines they will never be commercially viable and will eventually be ripped out."

Jancis Robinson MW started writing about the world's heritage of old vines more than 15 years ago and began documenting them in the form of a rudimentary spreadsheet with writer Tamlyn Currin. Over the years as the spreadsheet grew, so did knowledge of its existence so that wineries and growers would submit details of their old vines to be added to the list by Currin and wine blogger Benjamin Roelfs.

As of Monday 26th June the Old Vine Registry has 2,200 vineyards recorded from entries collected over 13 years. Portugal and Spain lead with 822 and 383 old vineyards registered respectively. The United States comes in third with 334 vineyards, followed by Australia and France with 208 and 142 respectively.

In her closing remarks at the launch of The Old Vine Registry Jancis Robinson MW gave a rallying call for action: 'I urge everybody to participate in the Old Vine Registry: visit it, explore it, enjoy it! Let's see this grow and let's see everyone's hard work, particularly that of Alder Yarrow, bear fruit to the benefit of all of us and to the world's beautiful old vines.'

These operators are complicated functions of ratios of Gamma functions and Zeta analogues whose representations are complex. It would be nice to have a compact representation of the related coefficients in terms of known combinatorial entities."

Combinatorics is the study of counting, so what Dr. Kenigson is saying is that he and his colleagues want to count the strings in predictable ways.

"Recent advances in Russia and France have made explicit relationships between globally convergent series representations of classical Zeta functions and their Hurwitz analogues commensurable with statements about choice functions, Bell Numbers, Catalan Numbers, Stirling Numbers, and many other special series." The goal of the research is to explore these relationships in the paradigm of String Theory, especially "as related to Black Holes, Fuzzballs, the Thermodynamic properties of plasmas, and high-dimensional analogues of Fermionic and Bose-Einstein Gases."

Last year, "we explored the Chandrasekhar Limit for extremal stellar implosion as a function of degeneracy pressure using Gamma Functions in high Euclidean dimensions. A Gamma Paradigm was helpful for this work, which is still ongoing."

Gamma functions are generalizations of the factorial function. If you remember from school, for instance, 4! = 4*3*2*1 = 24.

Dr. Kenigson states that "such functions arise in permutation groups on finite words, in the theory of geometric permutations, and in symmetry structures like U(n) and SU(n) which encode deep information about systemic invariants".

If successful, such data will potentially facilitate a new diagnostic tool to quantify alloantibody-mediated immunological risk that may enable improved access to transplantation, reduce the risk of humoral rejection, and improve transplant outcomes.

"The provision of purified and naturally folded HLA reagents by PTS for use in our kinetics experiments provides an exciting opportunity to increase our understanding of the pathogenic potential of HLA-specific antibodies in the context of transplantation and to improve long-term transplant outcomes."
