Nancy Pfund, Pioneering Leader in Impact Investing, Named FWSF Financial Woman of the Year 2022

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- Financial Women of San Francisco (FWSF) today named Nancy Pfund, the Founder and Managing Partner of DBL Partners, as the FWSF 2022 Financial Woman of the Year. DBL Partners is one of the first venture capital firms to bring impact investing into the mainstream. Nancy and her colleagues launched DBL out of JP Morgan in 2008 after seeing increased momentum in the move to social and environmental impact. At DBL (standing for "Double Bottom Line"), Nancy and her team built a firm whose raison d'être is to foster investment with impact. The firm strives to optimize both financial return (First Bottom Line) and positive social impact, including social, environmental and economic benefits (Second Bottom Line) in the regions and sectors in which it invests. Nancy was an early investor in Tesla, SpaceX, SolarCity, and Pandora, among many others.

In addition to her innovation and leadership in building a clean energy future for the planet and putting social impact on the boardroom agenda, Nancy has consistently been an advocate for advancing the participation and leadership of women. Nancy firmly believes that the future will be brighter with a more diverse and representative workforce building it. FWSF shares Nancy's commitment to making an impact, increasing diversity, and advancing women-these are a few of the many reasons why Nancy is being honored by FWSF in 2022.

"Building my finance career in San Francisco over the years," says Nancy, "I have always been struck by the abundance of professional women who lead not only in their own fields, but in proactively helping other women advance in theirs. The Financial Women of San Francisco organization has played a key role in highlighting the importance and accomplishments of Bay Area women in finance, and I am honored to join the ranks of outstanding women who have won this award before me."

Melissa Maquilan Radic, the 2022 President of FWSF and Managing Director of Investor Relations & Capital Markets at IMPACT Community Capital, LLC is particularly excited about this year's honoree. "Nancy Pfund was a leader in the impact investing space long before this type of investing gained the widespread recognition it has today. She is a champion of social and environmental change, both personally and professionally, and is an inspiring role model for women who want to lead in the investment management or impact space. We are so proud to grant Nancy our highest honor and look forward to sharing her insights with the FWSF community."

"When I first started my impact investing journey, it was a lonely place to be," Nancy explained, "Undaunted, and determined to bring the worlds of finance, investment and social and environmental progress together, I relied on the support of early adopters willing to bet on me and on this new vision. Many of these early adopters were women, and women continue to lead in impact today. FWSF embodies the spirit of impact-and its benefits-by steadfastly lifting women up and passing the baton to younger women through its scholarship program that creates the next generation of financial women leaders."

The Financial Woman of the Year award was established in 1996 to celebrate the organization's 40th anniversary. Past FWSF Presidents Leslie Miller and Shelly Porges created the Financial Woman of the Year event with the triple purposes of raising funds for FWSF's scholarship program, increasing awareness of FWSF, and celebrating the careers of senior leaders in finance. Since then, it has provided a platform for high-achieving honorees to share their professional experience with others and to inspire other women in their own careers and ambitions. Nancy joins a distinguished list of former honorees including Jenny Johnson, CEO of Franklin Templeton, Terri Kallsen, Chief Operating Officer at Wealth Enhancement Group, Heidi Roizen, Partner at Threshold Ventures; Robin Washington, former chief financial officer (CFO) of Gilead; Debbie Messemer, former managing partner of KPMG's Bay Area Market; Carrie Dolan, CFO of Kraken Digital Asset Exchange; Sarah Friar, CEO of Next Door and former CFO of Square; and Pat Yarrington, former CFO of Chevron.

The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of approximately 32,725 nominations, more than 5,000 advisors received the award. More than 1,000 companies were invited to participate, 90 were recognized as one of the Tennessean Top Places to work. The Tennessean welcomed anyone to nominate an organization and partnered with Energage, who also reached out to companies. Any employer was eligible, as long as it had at least 5 employees in Middle Tennessee. Employees could be public, private, nonprofit or governmental. Once employers were nominated, employees were asked to fill out an online questionnaire that gave more information about the companies they worked for. Information gathered included issues relating to workplace culture, including Alignment, Connection, Effectiveness, Engagement, Leadership, and the Basics, including pay, benefits, flexibility, training, and expectations. Employers were then ranked among groups of similar size to most accurately compare results, with those that scored high being recognized. Neither Energage nor the Tennessean is affiliated with Raymond James.

These rankings may not be representative of any one client's experience, are not an endorsement, and are not indicative of an advisor's future performance. No fee is paid in exchange for these awards/rankings.

HousingWire Names DocMagic One of the Top 100 Most Innovative Mortgage Companies for 2022

TORRANCE, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- DocMagic, Inc., the premier provider of compliant loan document generation, automated regulatory compliance and comprehensive eMortgage services, announced that it earned a spot on HousingWire's coveted 2022 Tech100 list for the ninth straight year.

HousingWire's Tech100 program provides housing professionals with a comprehensive list of the most innovative and impactful organizations that are being leveraged to address the challenges that mortgage lenders and real estate professionals face every day.

"We're always innovating and enhancing our solutions to maximize customer success as our digital lending ecosystem advances," said Dominic Iannitti, president and CEO at DocMagic. "Over the course of 2021, we launched several new solutions designed to improve the borrower experience and make back-office staff more efficient. We are elated that HousingWire has recognized our innovations and again listed DocMagic as a Tech100 winner."

In 2021, DocMagic unveiled eSign 3.0, a redesigned user interface that dramatically enhances the borrower experience. eSign 3.0 also offers lenders and settlement providers new features that help them more easily initiate remote online notarizations (RON) to enable fully paperless eClosings via its Total eClose(tm) platform.

2021 also saw the launch of DocMagic's eDecision(tm) tool, which instantly determines e-eligibility and provides the most beneficial level of eClosing that a lender can offer borrowers. The automatic decisioning process begins as soon as the first set of disclosures is generated and continues to perform e-eligibility checks throughout the process.

In addition, DocMagic recently introduced AutoPrep(tm), a solution that applies AI, OCR and machine learning technology to instantly e-enable third-party documents, streamlining electronic document execution within its award-winning Total eClose(tm) platform. AutoPrep has been gaining steady adoption since being launched in 2020.

"This year's list of Tech100 honorees proves once again that innovation within housing is vital in differentiating the organizations who will thrive and those who will be left behind," said Clayton Collins, CEO of HW Media. "This list spotlights the innovators that are making the housing sector better and more sustainable by increasing efficiency, improving user and borrower experiences and bringing elasticity and improvements to age-old processes."

Notable is that DocMagic was the first vendor in the mortgage industry to launch a fully paperless eClosing solution, complete with remote notary capability. Total eClose was officially introduced in 2014 and has since become award-winning technology with widespread industry adoption.

HomeBinder’s Adaptive Home Value™ model keeps homeowners coming back to mortgage lenders, home inspectors and Realtors with equity-building insights

BOSTON, Mass. /ScoopCloud/ -- HomeBinder, a centralized home management platform that keeps homeowners connected with mortgage lenders, home inspectors, Realtors and other authorized professionals, today announced the availability of its Adaptive Home Value™ tool. The tool paints a more accurate picture of a home's value by taking into consideration property-specific details that other automated valuation models (AVMs) fail to consider, such as regular maintenance and upkeep, projects and renovations, and updates to the major systems and appliances of the home.

HomeBinder's Adaptive Home Value tool is powerful enough to take in a breadth of home data logged in a homeowner's binder, analyze that data and algorithmically calculate its immediate and long-term impact on overall home value. The web-based platform also features a user-friendly interface, ensuring homeowners can easily log maintenance, home improvement projects, appliance upgrades and other items that can affect their adaptive home value estimate.

In addition to tracking homeowners' personalized adaptive home value within the HomeBinder dashboard, the platform automates monthly emails containing adaptive home value updates and maintenance recommendations for increasing home value. HomeBinder's adaptive home value email updates are branded with the colors, logos and images of authorized professionals who have gifted the HomeBinder, keeping them top of mind with homeowners for years beyond close.

"Most homeowners are aware that home valuation goes beyond beds, baths and square footage, but are in the dark about the types of work that grows their home's value and by how much," said HomeBinder Chief Product Officer Guy Tassinari. "Our goal with Adaptive Home Value is to gamify equity building by showing homeowners the quantifiable impact maintenance and home improvement projects have on their home's value."

"Empowering homeowners with transparency into adaptive home value helps them be better stewards of their investment, and directs them back to their HomeBinder sponsor when they're in the position to sell, refinance or buy another home," continued Tassinari.

HomeBinder will be providing demos of Adaptive Home Value at exhibit booth 121 of ICE Mortgage Technology's Experience 2022 conference, being held at the Wynn Las Vegas, March 14-16, 2022.

Onsite demos can be scheduled in advance by clicking here https://meetings.hubspot.com/marketing-homebinder?utm_campaign=Lender%20Vertical%20Campaign&utm_source=Marketing%20Calendar

ACES Quality Management Makes its Eighth Appearance on HousingWire TECH100 List

DENVER, Colo. /ScoopCloud/ -- ACES Quality Management® (ACES), the leading provider of enterprise quality management and control software for the financial services industry has been selected for the eighth consecutive year by HousingWire magazine for its annual TECH100 awards program.

HousingWire's TECH100 award seeks to highlight the most innovative technology companies across the housing sector. ACES was selected for its continued excellence in supporting lenders' quality management, risk mitigation and cost control efforts. Its flagship product ACES Quality Management & Control® software provides lenders with a secure, flexible, web-based platform to drive pre-funding, post-closing and servicing quality control (QC) audits. ACES users have increased their audit speeds by more than 50% while reducing overhead costs by as much as six figures annually.

"In a rising interest rate environment where volume is declining and margins are tight, it is easy to lose sight of the value of having a robust quality and risk management program, but this is exactly when lenders can least afford to suffer the financial consequences of a bad loan," said Trevor Gauthier. "It is these types of concerns that continuously drive ACES to expand and improve the ability of our product and services and honors such as the TECH100 reflect the value and results our users are experiencing from those efforts."

Last year ACES processed more than 4.5 million audits, experienced a 60% surge in new clients and launched ACES CONNECT, the organization's newest communication functionality designed to help relay critical exceptions immediately and provide secure collaboration between quality control and other lines of business. Additionally, ACES announced ACES ENGAGE, a two-day conference designed to bring together the nation's top financial services quality management professionals to discuss industry trends and best practices, taking place in May 2022.

"This year's list of TECH100 honorees proves once again that innovation within housing is vital in differentiating the organizations who will thrive and those who will be left behind," said Clayton Collins, CEO of HW Media. Recently Launched LoanMAPS™ LOS Now Integrated with DocMagic Eliminating Need for Disclosure Desk and Closing Department

TORRANCE, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- DocMagic, Inc., the premier provider of fully-compliant loan document preparation, regulatory compliance, and comprehensive eMortgage services, is pleased to announce that it has integrated multiple digital lending solutions with Take Three Technologies' ("Take3") cloud-based and fully-integrated loan origination system (LOS), LoanMAPS™. LoanMAPS - an all-in-one LOS, POS, CRM, and report generator - was introduced to the industry via a soft launch in 2019 and is now commercially available for clients.

The new integration with LoanMAPS empowers clients by eliminating the need for an initial disclosure desk and closing department, which results in reducing the clients' full-time employee count and slashes clients' cost to produce loans. Via the integration, LoanMAPS users can easily and compliantly generate loan documents for borrowers, eSign documents, and will offer eClosing capability. Together, the solutions enhance the initial disclosure process, streamline closings, and provide users with an efficient and simplified mortgage process.

"The integration that we developed with Take3's LoanMAPS LOS is seamless and bi-directional, giving users the ability to harness several of our solutions to optimize the borrower experience, reduce lender costs and ensure compliance," stated Steve Ribultan, director of business development at DocMagic. "We are pleased to partner with Take 3 and extend this offering to mutual lender clients residing on LoanMAPS."

LoanMAPS, a cloud-based LOS, runs completely off a standard internet browser accessible from the user's desktop, laptop computer, or mobile device. Automating the entire lending process for mortgage bankers, LoanMAPS applies AI and sophisticated business logic to implement newfound efficiencies across the system from production through post-closing. Additionally, unlike most commercially available LOSs, LoanMAPS also includes a robust CRM, POS, and Report Generator, which eliminates the need to add third party applications, dramatically lowering the cost to originate loans while maximizing productivity. Take3 encourages clients to take their Cost to Produce Challenge and see how much they could save with LoanMAPS.

"A team of mortgage lenders developed LoanMAPS after decades of experience working with other solutions and realizing the value that having one technology provides in terms of one database and one training system," stated Anita Padilla, CEO of Take 3 Technologies. "LoanMAPS was built by mortgage bankers, for mortgage bankers."

Padilla continued: "From its conception, LoanMAPS was developed with the objective to give lenders the flexibility to grow their volume while saving time and money, alleviating compliance and underwriting guideline concerns, and slashing the total cost to manufacture loans. Working with a proven industry leader like DocMagic enables us to optimize the overall value that LoanMAPS offers."

DocMagic's Audit Engine fully automates data and document validation at all phases throughout the lending process to ensure accuracy and compliance. Continuous automated compliance checks validate that the documents are always generated in compliance with federal, state and investor rules and regulations. The integration with LoanMAPS also ensures that the TRID rules are adhered to at all times, eliminating costly errors.

"The interface between DocMagic and LoanMAPS has been hugely beneficial in streamlining our entire initial document disclosure process and ensuring compliance," said Gail Maes, Vice President of Operations at Megastar Financial. "The ease of use it gives our customers helps elevate the borrower experience and complements the intuitive functionality that LoanMAPS gives our back-office staff."

Take 3 Technologies is also integrating DocMagic's Total eClose™ platform with LoanMAPS. Total eClose automates the entire eClosing process via a single-source solution that guides users through a highly efficient eClosing experience which allows them to securely eSign and eNotarize a loan from anywhere via a simple internet browser. The addition of Total eClose to LoanMAPS saves borrowers significant amounts of time at the closing table and helps lenders enhance the borrower experience.

Sales Boomerang teams up with OptifiNow to offer lenders an integrated experience for mortgage customer engagement

BALTIMORE, Md. /ScoopCloud/ -- Sales Boomerang, the mortgage industry's top-rated automated borrower intelligence and retention system, today announced its application programming interface (API) integration with OptifiNow, a cloud-based sales, marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) platform. The integration ensures accurate borrower data flows seamlessly and automatically between the two systems, giving lenders more time to focus on nurturing borrower relationships and exceeding sales goals.

Sales Boomerang monitors mortgage lenders' customer and prospect databases to notify them exactly when a prospect or past customer is ready for a new loan. Sales Boomerang loan opportunity alerts may be triggered by market factors, like interest rate changes and home price appreciation, and consumer behaviors, such as listing a home for sale or improving one's credit score.

OptifiNow is a cloud-based sales and management software platform designed to meet the evolving needs of today's sales force. Optifinow's CRM is tightly integrated into its all-in-one platform of sales and marketing modules, giving users a simple end-to-end solution for managing all aspects of sales, marketing and business development.

Sales Boomerang's new integration with OptifiNow can be applied to any of the borrower intelligence platform's 11 unique loan opportunity alert offerings. When an opportunity alert is triggered by someone in a lender's database, that alert data is automatically ingested into OptifiNow. The CRM will then notify the loan originator (LO) associated with that customer and, depending on the user's specifications, automatically trigger personalized borrower outreach.

OptifiNow's CRM also generates a history of alerts for each prospect in a lender's CRM database. Synchronizing Sales Boomerang's real-time opportunity alerts with OptifiNow's CRM offers LOs a more nuanced understanding of a prospect's financial situation and enables lenders to build custom borrower data reports based on Sales Boomerang alert history.

"OptifiNow's intuitive, all-in-one CRM platform leverages Sales Boomerang's borrower intelligence to create a more streamlined lead generation experience," said Sales Boomerang Vice President of Product Mike Spotten. "Activating the integration between our systems will help our shared users harness the power of their database to ensure no borrower gets left behind at the closing table."

"We are thrilled to add Sales Boomerang to our ecosystem of best-in-class mortgage technology partners," said OptifiNow Vice President Sales Linn Cook. "The integration of OptifiNow and Sales Boomerang will drive greater borrower data integrity for our mutual lender clients, freeing them from the tedious process of manually gathering and tracking borrower information."

About Sales Boomerang:

Sales Boomerang transformed the relationship between mortgage lenders and borrowers with the introduction of the first automated borrower intelligence system in 2017. The company's intelligent alerts notify lenders as soon as a past customer or prospect is ready and credit-qualified for a loan. As the mortgage industry's #1 borrower retention tool, Sales Boomerang is trusted by more than 150 lenders - including brokers, independent mortgage companies, credit unions and banks - to help build lasting borrower relationships that maximize lifetime customer value. To date, Sales Boomerang alerts have enabled lenders to close more than $150 billion in additional loan volume that would have otherwise been overlooked and achieve customer retention rates that outperform industry norms by an average of 3-5X. FormFree’s AccountChek joins forces with Freddie Mac for industry-first automated assessment of direct deposit income

ATHENS, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- FormFree® today announced that its AccountChek® digital asset verification service will support a first-of-its-kind solution from Freddie Mac that allows mortgage lenders to assess a prospective homebuyer's income using direct deposit data. Available to mortgage lenders nationwide, Freddie Mac's Loan Product Advisor® (LPASM) asset and income modeler (AIM) solution fulfills mortgage verification of assets (VOA) and verification of income (VOI) requirements.

FormFree's AccountChek leverages tens of thousands of data connections with more than 16,000 financial institutions to instantly deliver consumer-permissioned asset and income verification all in one report. With an estimated 93% or more of U.S. workers paid via direct deposit, collapsing asset and income verification into a single, paperless step provides cost-saving efficiencies for lenders, reduces the risk of fraud and manual errors and helps borrowers get approved for - and into - their homes more quickly.

"We have long contended that a consumer's data - in particular, asset data sourced directly from financial institutions and extending over 12 months or more - holds the key to better understanding consumers' financial DNA, streamlining lenders' underwriting processes and driving inclusion in homeownership," said FormFree Founder and CEO Brent Chandler. "This latest enhancement to Freddie Mac's AIM brings lenders money-saving process efficiencies by making income assessment instantaneous."

"We're pleased to have FormFree's AccountChek product support this game-changing enhancement to our AIM offering," said Christina Randolph, Director, Strategic Technology Partnerships at Freddie Mac. "Partnering with FormFree has helped unlock more consumer financial data that allows us to uphold our risk management standards while streamlining the mortgage process and increasing homeownership opportunities."

A March Freddie Mac Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide Bulletin will provide lenders additional requirements and information about when the solution will be available. Once Freddie Mac releases AIM for income using direct deposits, it will be available to lenders using LPA v5.06 or higher.
