Anow Closes 2018 with 110-percent Year-over-Year Increase in Orders Processed Through Its Digital Appraisal Office Management Technology

RED DEER, Alberta /ScoopCloud/ -- Digital appraisal management software developer Anow reported a record 110 percent year-over-year increase in appraisal orders processed through its core appraisal office management platform in 2018 despite an industry-wide, market-driven drop in orders per customer. The announcement follows a year punctuated by major product launches and enhancements as the growing firm continues to lead the appraisal industry in innovation.

"We're proud to put appraisal firms that use Anow light years ahead of their competition," said Anow Founder and President Marty Haldane. "In 2019, we'll continue to redefine the speed, efficiency and transparency with which appraisers work with mortgage lenders and other clients."

Just last month, Nations Valuations Services integrated Anow's appraisal management software into its AppraisalTRAX(TM) management system, fueling faster turn times for its 16,000-strong appraiser network and an improved experience for its mortgage lender customers.

In September, Anow filed patents to protect its proprietary mass collaboration technology, which enables teams of appraisers to radically reduce turn times by working simultaneously on appraisal reports and which Anow expects will power the next generation of bifurcated appraisal products.

Anow also filed patents on its proximity-based assignment system designed to improve the borrower experience and reduce friction in the inspection-setting process.

In August, the company announced its forthcoming Anow Enterprise, a platform for mortgage lenders that enables instant, on-demand appraisal booking and leverages artificial intelligence to pair lender deadlines and quality-control criteria with the best appraiser for the job based on availability, travel schedule and workload.

May 2018 saw the introduction of Anow Connect, a platform that connects appraisal firms directly with their customers via a branded, mobile-first portal that automates appraisal order acceptance, scheduling, status updates, file sharing, messaging, report delivery and payment collection.

Anow also rolled out over 4,100 feature enhancements designed to simplify the lives of appraisers and help make their businesses more efficient. These included significant enhancements to Anow's mobile appraisal and home inspection platforms; simplification of Anow's payment collections, payment processing and payroll systems; significant improvements to the APIs that facilitate integrations with Anow's partners; enhanced reporting; and architectural changes to accommodate the platform's growing volume of appraisers and orders.

Anow also added new capabilities that enable multiple appraisal companies to more seamlessly work together and gave users the ability to import work history into Anow.

Anow is currently accepting participants for a closed beta of its next appraisal software innovation, Anow NEXUS, which is being developed with input from the American Society of Appraisers (ASA), the National Association of Appraisers (NAA) and the Business Association of Real Estate Appraisers (BAREA). Nations Valuation Services Integrates Anow Appraisal Management Software to Accelerate Turn Times and Elevate Customer Experience for Mortgage Lenders

RED DEER, Alberta /ScoopCloud/ -- Nations Valuation Services (NVS), the appraisal services division of the Nations Companies, today announced the integration of appraisal management software from Anow with NVS' proprietary management system, AppraisalTRAX(TM).

According to NVS Executive Vice President of Operations Matthew Scott, all appraisals submitted by the AMC's more than 16,000 appraisers nationwide will run through Anow, allowing the entire NVS appraisal network to tap into the platform's powerful time-saving and collaboration features.

"NVS built its business as a leading national AMC by leveraging best-of-breed appraisal technology - an approach that has served us and our partners well," said Scott. "We spent a long time searching for a way to achieve a stronger level of communication with our appraisers across the country. Anow's consolidated platform really impressed us, because it allows appraisers to work with multiple clients through a single portal. That's incredibly valuable."

Appraisers face increasing pressure from lenders and AMCs to upgrade from a patchwork of legacy desktop applications to systems capable of delivering real-time communication, mass collaboration and a modern borrower experience. Mortgage lenders have already begun adopting digital processes from origination to closing in pursuit of efficiencies and loan quality improvements.

Anow enterprise software features the industry's first unified appraisal tracking platform from which appraisal businesses can efficiently manage orders, clients and fees. Built to drive dynamic appraisal businesses of every size and stripe, Anow allows fully customized workflows, automated status updates, end-to-end activity tracking, unlimited scalability and rapid setup. Anow's proprietary calendaring system enables smart, rapid response to mortgage lenders' "turn-on-a-dime" demands, matching the right appraiser with the right property to ensure that tight underwriting requirements and closing deadlines are met.

"Anow has been thoughtfully architected to enable firms like NVS to better communicate with appraisers and, in turn, offer vastly superior service to lenders," said Anow Founder and President Marty Haldane. "Appraisers that build their businesses around the mortgage industry's demands and cycles must work hand in glove with lenders' priorities, which typically are speed of job completion, quality of work and borrower satisfaction."

"Mortgage lenders are moving quickly to drive down overall turn times so they can lock and fund loans, and the appraiser is a key piece of that," said Scott at NVS. "Appraisers who adopt technology to make themselves more organized and efficient are going to be able to take on and manage more business, and they'll do so in a much less stressed environment."

"That's why we expect appraisers are going to love the Anow platform once they experience it. And based on the feedback of those on our panel already using it, it's the organization of their calendars and the ability to communicate in real time from a single place that has really sold them on how great this product is," Scott added.

MCT Moves to Secure Sensitive Borrower Data Exposed in 90 Percent of Secondary Market Transactions

SAN DIEGO, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- Mortgage Capital Trading, Inc. (MCT), a leading mortgage hedge advisory and secondary marketing software firm, announced that it is incorporating the company's patent-pending geocoding technology into its Bid Auction Manager(TM) (BAM) whole loan trading platform in order to shield borrower addresses from being shared with non-buying entities throughout the whole loan bidding process.

"Concealing borrower addresses for whole loan bids is the most recent step that MCT is taking to heighten data security while protecting borrowers and lenders," stated Phil Rasori, COO and Head Trader at MCT. "We estimate that upwards of 90 percent of all secondary marketing transactions expose borrower addresses to non-buying bidders. The only investor that should eventually see the property address is the one that wins the loan. MCT's proprietary BAM Geocoder enables investors to price LMI-CRA incentives without the address."

Historically, only a handful of non-identifying data points were used to determine loan pricing in the secondary market. However, the advent of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) requirements and spec pay-ups combined with the rapid adoption of delivery via bid tapes resulted in the full property address being disclosed to bidders in the majority of transactions executed over the last several years.

While clear contract terms typically govern borrower data usage for the whole loan buyer and seller, they generally fail to address the non-buying bidders, according to a review of MCT's lender clients. This can be a sensitive area for some parties, in particular for EPO (early pay off) and servicing pre-payments, as refinancing terms do not take into account safeguards for borrower loan data during the bidding process.

Mr. Rasori added, "Ensuring that our systems and processes are as secure as possible is always of the highest importance. We are confident that this new level of protection will become the standard in the near future, and we're proud to lead the industry in this direction."

Notable is that MCT recently implemented multi-factor authentication (MFA) security protocols into its MCTlive! capital markets software, requiring multiple methods to verify a user's identity for logins and transactions. In July of 2017, MCT officially rolled out its award-winning BAM platform, in part, to migrate sensitive borrower data contained in bid tapes off of email to a centralized, secure platform.

Company officials at MCT say that the geocode-enabled conversion process has already begun with investors; addresses will be completely removed from all MCT bid tapes by 2019. The proprietary BAM Geocoder is patent-pending and available for license to third-parties interested in increasing transaction security.

Investors or lenders interested in the status of the conversion process for their transactions should reach out to Phil Rasori via email at prasori@mctrade.net.

QRL Leverages DocMagic’s eVault Technology to Purchase eNotes from Correspondent Clients

ANAHEIM, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- Annual CUNA Lending Council Conference -- DocMagic, Inc., the premier provider of fully-compliant loan document preparation, regulatory compliance and comprehensive eMortgage services, announced that QRL Financial Services (QRL), a nationwide provider of residential mortgage lending services for community banks and credit unions, has leveraged its eVault technology to purchase eNotes. The announcement was made during the 24th Annual CUNA Lending Council Conference at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, Calif.

Implementing an eVault means QRL can increase new business by extending its reach to lenders that are ready to implement eClosings and sell eNotes. In addition to providing improved service, they will competitively position themselves for the future. The deal will make QRL one of the first investors outside of the GSEs to begin purchasing eNotes.

"QRL is a farsighted organization, and by implementing eVault technology now, they stand to capitalize on marketplace opportunities as eNotes continue to gain adoption," stated Dominic Iannitti, president and CEO of DocMagic. "We tend to partner with early adopters like QRL, who will reap the benefits of their industry insight. We look forward to the success they realize by utilizing our eVault and supporting technology."

Because QRL is using DocMagic's SmartDocs, all documents retain a tamper evident seal to ensure data and document integrity. Using static documents, that don't include SmartDoc transactional (XML) metadata, means some organizations have the difficult, costly and time-consuming task of confirming that data and documents are in sync.

"Offering a truly paperless solution is the future. Consumers will expect and demand a closing experience that is more timely, convenient and informative," says Alex Rivera, managing director at QRL Financial Services. "QRL's ability to purchase and service eNotes will allow the credit unions and community banks that we service to stay ahead of the technology curve as they compete with the larger institutions in the race to improve the mortgage experience."

The solution will also create greater secondary market process efficiencies because of reduced cycle times. QRL will be able to fund faster with fewer post-closing document issues.

DocMagic and QRL will be attending the 24th Annual CUNA Lending Council Conference from October 28-31, 2018 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, Calif. The companies can be contacted at michael@docmagic.com for DocMagic and sales@qrlfinancial.com for QRL.

Simplifile Completes West Virginia’s First E-recording Transaction

PROVO, Utah /ScoopCloud/ -- Simplifile, a leading provider of real estate document collaboration and recording technologies for lenders, settlement agents, and counties, today announced that it has facilitated the first e-recording transaction in the state of West Virginia. The transaction was completed on Friday, Aug. 24 in Monongalia County, W. Va., which is the first recording jurisdiction in the state to begin e-recording land documents.

"Until recently, West Virginia had been one of the few remaining holdouts on e-recording adoption. That has now changed," said Simplifile president, Paul Clifford. "Now that other counties within the state can witness the added efficiency and reduced costs e-recording provides, we expect to see adoption ramp up significantly. We stand ready to help additional West Virginia recording jurisdictions make the switch, joining the more than 1,800 counties in Simplifile's e-recording network."

The closing attorney for the transaction submitted the documents via Simplifile's E-recording platform to the Monongalia County recorder's office on Thursday, Aug. 23. Due to the nature of West Virginia's recording process, the verified and recorded documents were returned to the closing attorney the next business day. This represents a significant improvement over Monongalia County's previous, paper-based process.

As Monongalia County Clerk Carye Blaney told The Dominion Post: "Once Simplifile accepts the document, it's moved over to our portal. We review it, and once we record it, Simplifile deposits the money we need into our records and deals with the submitter. We don't have to worry about bounced checks. We don't have to worry about not having the proper amount for the recording. All those issues are solved because it's handled before it ever gets to us ... We've been working on this for quite some time. Most other states in the nation have been electronically recording, and have been for years. West Virginia has been a lone holdout, so we've really been working to get ourselves into a position to do that."

To see which jurisdictions are part of Simplifile's e-recording network, visit https://simplifile.com/services/e-recording/e-recording-counties/.

About Simplifile:

Simplifile, the nation's largest e-recording network, was founded in 2000 to connect settlement agents and county recorders via its e-recording service. Today Simplifile has broadened its services to include collaboration tools and post-closing visibility for mortgage lenders and settlement agents working together on real estate documents. Through Simplifile, users can securely record, share, and track documents, data, and fees with ease.

Mortgage Capital Trading Adds Multi-Factor Authentication to its MCTlive! Secondary Marketing Software

SAN DIEGO, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- Mortgage Capital Trading, Inc. (MCT), a leading mortgage hedge advisory and secondary marketing software firm, announced that it has implemented multi-factor authentication (MFA) security protocols, which require multiple methods to verify a user's identity for logins and transactions.

"We live in an era where security sensitivities and breaches are increasingly common occurrences within organizations and their technology stacks," says Phil Rasori, COO at MCT. "In order to most effectively protect our clients, their data and transactions, we felt that it was a prudent time to implement MFA into our MCTlive! secondary marketing software as a logical safeguard in order to maintain high levels of security."

MCT's new MFA technology uses Google Authenticator for MCTlive! security where the user must not only log into the platform with their credentials, but also receive a unique code from their mobile device that expires after 30 seconds. In addition, MCTlive! password requisites have been strengthened.

MFA can be configured for particular MCTlive! users to be multi-factor, or for others to have simpler, quicker password access. MCT puts the ease of internal controls in the hands of the lender when it comes to user log on and security, which is very granular. In addition, detailed reporting can be easily produced at any time which timestamps each user's log in attempts and security methods used.

"The security of our borrowers' information is paramount for First Bank, particularly with data breaches seeming to become more and more common," stated Andrew Stringer, Director of Secondary/Capital Markets at First Bank, an MCT client. "Multi-factor authentication in MCTlive! adds an additional layer of protection that not only gives me peace of mind knowing our data is protected, but also demonstrates proactive ways our secondary department is mitigating risk for the bank."

Multi-factor authentication is the latest addition in MCT's ongoing effort to lead the secondary mortgage market toward stronger data security. In July of 2017, MCT launched its Bid Auction Manager (BAM) technology to migrate sensitive borrower data contained in bid tapes off of email to a secure platform. By October 2017, BAM had achieved 100 percent adoption among the investor community and was awarded PROGRESS in Lending Association's 2018 Innovation Award in April.

Lenders interested in improving data security with MCTlive! and BAM should schedule a consultation via screenshare or in-person at the MBA's Annual Convention & Expo in Washington, DC.

(MCT) has grown from a boutique mortgage pipeline hedging firm into the industry's leading provider of fully-integrated capital markets services and technology. NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- DocMagic, Inc., the premier provider of fully-compliant loan document preparation, regulatory compliance and comprehensive eMortgage services, and NotaryCam(R), the leader in online notarization solutions, announced an integration that eliminates the need to wet-sign loan documents in the physical presence of a notary by allowing loan documents to be quickly and compliantly eNotarized online.

The integration works inside Total eClose(TM), DocMagic's comprehensive end-to-end eClosing solution. It allows customers to initiate eNotarizations using NotaryCam's remote service with just a few clicks, thus extending the convenience of a fully online eClosing experience through notarization - the final step in loan closing - without any hard stops or papering out.

"More and more states are permitting remote online notarization and as they do, we can expect to see consumer demand and expectation for remote eNotarizations to grow," said Dominic Iannitti, president and CEO of DocMagic. "This integration allows DocMagic customers to meet consumer demand without any delays, which is a big part of our value proposition for all DocMagic products."

The Mortgage Bankers Association has been collaborating with the American Land Title Association (ALTA) to prepare model legislation that would provide a framework for any state to adopt remote online notarization processes.

"Our companies are very similar in what we deliver: the industry's most flexible and customer-friendly experiences, backed by unfaltering accuracy, data integrity and compliance. We are looking forward to moving the industry forward, together."

Prior to the addition of NotaryCam, DocMagic's Total eClose solution supported eNotarizations by leveraging in-person notaries equipped with electronic notary signing technology, which it will continue to offer in addition to remote online notarizations, where permitted. Both DocMagic and NotaryCam are approved eMortgage technology vendors with the GSEs, having passed an extensive approval process.

IDS Completes TRID 2.0 Updates to Mortgage Document Preparation Platform

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah /ScoopCloud/ -- Mortgage document preparation vendor International Document Services, Inc. (IDS), announced it has completed modifications to its flagship mortgage document preparation platform idsDoc related to TRID 2.0.

The changes, which went live in idsDoc earlier this month, include updates to the rounding and truncation of percentages, Loan Estimate (LE) Estimated Cost Expiration date inputs, the availability of Alternative LE/Closing Disclosure (CD) forms for simultaneous subordinate financing, disclosure of seller paid fees and principal reductions, and data entry for the Summary of Transactions and Liabilities and Payoffs. In addition, TRID 2.0-related updates were also made to the LE/CD and Totals pages within idsDoc, as well as the 1003 and Construction Lending sections.

"While the next iteration of TRID doesn't represent quite the sea change that the October 2015 rule did, there are still quite a few elements in TRID 2.0 that will change how lenders operate day-to-day, and we feel confident that the modifications we've made to idsDoc will help smooth our clients' transition to TRID 2.0," said IDS Vice President and General Manager Mark Mackey. "If they have not already done so, we highly encourage our clients to make themselves familiar not only with the amendments to the TRID rule, but also the corresponding changes with idsDoc prior to October 1 to ensure a successful implementation."

In addition to the document-related changes outlined above, TRID 2.0 also closes the "black hole" created by the initial version of the rule, thus allowing lenders, in certain instances, to reissue a CD to reset tolerances after the original CD was issued.

"With TRID 2.0, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has offered some much-needed clarity on the issue of under what circumstances lenders can re-issue the CD without penalty," Mackey added. "This, along with the other rule clarifications contained in TRID 2.0, should give lenders greater certainty that they are operating within both the letter and spirit of the regulation."

IDS clients can find additional information on TRID 2.0, including webinar recordings and other documentation, under the "Resources" tab in idsDoc. Non-IDS clients wishing to gain access to these materials should contact can contact marketing@idsdoc.com.

Freddie Mac Expands eMortgage Solutions with DocMagic’s eVault Technology to Store and Control eNotes

TORRANCE, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- DocMagic, Inc., the premier provider of fully-compliant loan document preparation, regulatory compliance and comprehensive eMortgage services, announced today that Freddie Mac has implemented its SaaS-based eVault technology and SmartREGISTRY(TM) platform.

DocMagic's eVault provides a secure electronic repository for storing documents and performing automated eNote certification to Freddie Mac eMortgage lenders via Loan Selling Advisor(R). By automating the eNote certification process, Freddie Mac will speed the funding process, thereby improving liquidity in the mortgage markets and reducing lender's warehouse line costs.

"Freddie Mac is committed to streamlining the mortgage process for lenders and borrowers, and has been a leader in purchasing eMortgages since 2006," said Andy Higgenbotham, Freddie Mac's Single Family Chief Operating Officer. "We rolled out our automated certification process in 2015 to speed up the funding process, thereby improving liquidity in the mortgage markets and reducing lender's warehouse line costs. We are now expanding this process to include the DocMagic platform."

DocMagic's eVault provides safe and secure storage for sensitive loan documents. It also automatically parses and validates data in a SmartDoc eNote against data in the user's core system of record. Additionally, DocMagic's SmartREGISTRY platform enables holders of eNotes to securely transfer these electronic documents to other eVault systems, such as those used by investors, conduit aggregators and servicers. Ultimately, it facilitates real-time access, delivery, storage and much needed control of electronic loan files.

"Freddie Mac has been a long-time visionary and champion of eMortgages over the years and has made great strides with their unwavering commitment to automation across the supply chain," stated Dominic Iannitti, president and CEO at DocMagic. "Now, with the successful rollout of SmartDoc eNote data validation prior to funding, this demonstrates the advantages and a clear-cut ROI of going completely 'e.' We look forward to ongoing collaboration with Freddie Mac and to further adoption of the digital mortgage process."

Notable is that that Freddie Mac encourages the use of 'SMART' (securable, manageable, archivable, retrievable, transferable) eNotes because static documents do not contain source data, and thus make it difficult, costly and time consuming to confirm the data on documents match.

DocMagic established a process that guides lenders on how to begin using SmartDoc eNotes. The company's eVault technology is integrated with its Total eClose(TM) platform, which is a comprehensive eClosing solution that creates a 100 percent paperless digital mortgage process - from origination through eClosing, eWarehouse lending, investor eDelivery and eServicing.

TRK Connection Upgrades Mortgage QC Loan Sampling Functionality within Insight RDM, Adds Predictive Loan Quality Analytics

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah /ScoopCloud/ -- TRK Connection (TRK), a leading provider of mortgage quality control (QC) and origination management solutions, announced it has enhanced the loan sampling functionality and added predictive analytics to its Insight Risk & Defect Management (RDM) mortgage QC audit platform.

These new capabilities enable Insight users to engage in more intelligent discretionary loan sampling, preventing over-selection of files for review and providing better control over sample size while meeting all discretionary loan target criteria.

"Loan sampling is a critical component of the QC process, and the more lenders are able to fine-tune their selection of loans for review, the better insights they'll receive regarding loan quality," said Jeremy Burcham, EVP of TRK Connection. "Additions like intelligent loan sampling and predictive analytics ensure Insight RDM continues to deliver every tool imaginable to aid lenders in reducing their repurchase risk and improving their loan quality."

Using a lender's historical loan samples and defect trending data, Insight RDM optimizes the discretionary sampling process to ensure the loans selected for review are representative of the lender's historical pipeline, which helps keep lenders compliant with their investor approved quality control plan's loan sampling requirements.

Insight RDM allows clients to identify key areas for discretionary audits based on trending defects to provide lenders with proactive capabilities to remedy loan production issues as soon as possible. Further, Insight users can now also conduct predictive reporting on future loan quality performance based on their historical data, allowing them to understand the effect of loan quality issues from the start.

"While it is nearly impossible to prevent errors from creeping into the loan origination process, it is possible, with the right tools, to anticipate those defects and detect them as early in the process as possible," Burcham added. "In addition to creating a more streamlined and efficient QC audit process, Insight RDM helps lenders harness the loan quality data already at their disposal to create additional layers of defense against loan defects to ensure investors receive loans that are as pristine as possible."

About TRK Connection:

Founded in 2013, TRK Connection prides itself on its ability to develop technologies that allow businesses to surpass their organizational needs and meet their business objectives. The new release will enable clients - from brokers to national mortgage lenders - to pre-populate loan application data and develop new customer intelligence capabilities.

The Maxwell ApplyID API unifies a consumer's data fragments from a host of sources into a structured loan application, enabling data-driven organizations to quickly build profiles of their customers. In addition to contact information and branch locations for agents and title companies, each ALTA Registry listing also includes a title agent or real estate attorney's unique seven-digit ALTA ID. As most real estate wire fraud schemes involve spoofing the identity of the title and/or settlement agent involved in transaction, the ability to verify the identity of these individuals using the ALTA ID and contact information contained within the ALTA Registry provides added assurance that lenders are interacting with legitimate parties to the transaction.

"With wire fraud on the rise, everyone in the real estate transaction - lenders included - must increase their level of vigilance to maintain the integrity of the process," said Tony Franco, SafeChain co-founder and CEO. "Integrating the ALTA Registry ALTA ID into SafeWire enhances the level of security we're able to provide to all parties, bringing us one step closer to completely eliminating fraud in the wire transfer process."

Network 360(TM) proprietary analytical models enable decision makers to analyze network adequacy and assess overall population risk to devise the right value-based contracting and downstream provider arrangements to enable high performing provider collaboration programs. The platform's architecture leverages advanced bi-directional EMR connectors that not only consume EMR data, (in CCD/HL7/FHIR formats) but feeds actionable member insights into a provider's daily workflow.

The platform manages provider attribution and analyzes population/panel/member costs. It also utilizes trends, such as applicable risk and quality measures (RAF, HEDIS, and STARs) to create optimized care plan variations to assist providers in closing gaps and improving their overall performance.

"We are pleased to be one of the first healthcare technology companies to unlock the actionable insights required for plans to effectively and impactfully make the transition from fee for service to fee for value," said Brian Lichtlin CEO of Advalent.

"Network360 allows holistic provider/network evaluation and provides ways to significantly improve network efficiencies by leveraging top performers and supporting low-performers through the right provider collaboration strategies."

The availability of Network 360(TM) platform will give providers more inclination to evolve from fee-for-service payment models to value-based care contracts. In fact, a recent study from Quest Diagnostics found 87 percent of physicians say they are likely to use a tool that provides on-demand, real-time, patient-specific data to identify gaps in quality, risk and utilization as well as medical history insight within clinical workflow. On Q Financial Selects LBA Ware’s CompenSafe to Improve Accuracy and Efficiency of Mortgage Loan Originator Commission Calculations

MACON, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- LBA Ware(TM), a leading provider of automated compensation software and systems integration solutions for mortgage lenders, today announced that Arizona-based On Q Financial has selected CompenSafe(TM) to manage the numerous compensation plans created for its team of loan originators (LOs) nationwide.

"We have approximately 200 mortgage consultants, and with all the slight nuances across multiple states and teams, even the slightest differentiation results in a unique set of calculations. That is insanely difficult to manage without some sort of automation," said Scott Frommert, CFO at On Q Financial. "LBA Ware tackled this complexity without problem or hesitation and was able to incorporate all the intricacies and nuances of our comp plans into CompenSafe. Any lender that's looking to scale and grow needs a tool like CompenSafe."

CompenSafe connects seamlessly with On Q Financial's loan origination system (LOS) to extract real-time loan pipeline data and automatically calculate compensation for On Q Financial's commission-based mortgage sales and production staff. This real-time tracking of LO commissions enables On Q Financial to reduce the time needed to reconcile the company's books each month, saving the independent mortgage lender dozens of hours each month and reducing the potential for commission calculation errors.

In addition, as a web-based platform, CompenSafe gives LOs and other commission-based staff the ability to see where they are trending from a commission standpoint at any given time. This provides mortgage sales and production staff with transparency into the commission calculation process, thus instilling greater confidence in the accuracy of those calculations.

"Our old process involved taking a screenshot of the spreadsheet we were using to track commissions and e-mailing it to staff for review and approval. In addition to the room for human error, it also required a lot of back-and-forth," Frommert said. "CompenSafe allows them to physically sign in, see their reports directly and drill into the data, which leverages technology to everyone's benefit. The experience for our staff is faster. It's obviously more accurate, and the report layout is much more professional and readable than a home-built spreadsheet report."

"Efficiency, accuracy and transparency should all be givens when it comes to LO compensation calculations, especially for a lender like On Q Financial that relies on its comp plan flexibility to attract and retain top talent. However, those goal are hard to achieve when using a manual solution like spreadsheets," said Lori Brewer, founder and CEO of LBA Ware. "With CompenSafe in place, those goals are all but guaranteed, enabling lenders like On Q Financial to re-direct internal resources to more pressing concerns, like managing expenses to reduce the overall cost-to-originate and driving sales staff performance to boost volume and profitability."

About On Q Financial:
On Q Financial's passion is to simplify the mortgage process to make the dream of home ownership a reality. The Dream is INCLUSIVE. There is nothing like the joy, comfort, and security that comes from owning a home and On Q takes great pride in knowing they helped over 10,000 families achieve the dream last year. As a top 50 mortgage lender with over 650 employees and 80 locations, On Q brings MORTGAGES SIMPLIFIED(TM) nationwide. ‘Easy as a handshake’ deal closing-platform, heymate, launches testable alpha version, Sept. 5, 2018

ZUG, Switzerland /ScoopCloud/ -- Heymate, a deal-closing platform which will allow micro-entrepreneurs to easily create, close and administer secure professional contracts within 20 seconds, launched their testable product on Sept. 5, 2018, available via invitation on Android and iOS smartphones. The heymate app is the first product of the heymate platform, which is operated by Blockchain Applications AG.

Heymate (*note 1) is a mobile app for the global gig economy that offers freelancing micro-entrepreneurs (e.g., millennials, part-timers, retirees, etc.) a deal-closing tool that allows them to create, advertise and close on professional-quality offers for work or goods to be sold/rented.

Currently, micro-entrepreneurs in the "help wanted" or "for sale or rent" ecosystem have to rely on slow and outdated methods of terms and conditions negotiations, such as phone calls or emails, for their work. The mobile app will streamline this planning process for micro-entrepreneurs by integrating offer terms and negotiation into an easy to manage and understand e-contract. Once both parties agree to the terms, the deal is closed, stored on the blockchain and becomes a legally enforceable peer-to-peer contract.

"Heymate's goal is to make peer-to-peer deal-closing as simple and trustful as the good-old fashioned handshake," said heymate's founder and CEO, Philipp Toth.

The heymate app also guarantees micro-entrepreneurs are paid for their work. According to a study by Tipalti (*note 2), 73 percent of micro-entrepreneurs would be willing to leave a marketplace due to issues with receiving on-time and correct payment for their work. Heymate protects its users by escrowing payments upon contract agreement, ensuring that once the legally binding terms and conditions agreed upon by both parties are met, the predetermined payment will be sent to the worker on time.

Once the app has developed its customer base, heymate plans to integrate a variety of worker benefits, such as insurances, loans, etc., for key partners to offer their independent contractors. The platform plans to become the place where independent workers go to seek offers for any type of service that can be advertised or consumed. Heymate will also offer these benefits to workers who engage with large managed markets, such as Uber or Lyft, which have been increasingly pressured to offer benefits to their independent contractors.

The product will officially launch as a free-to-use open beta on Apple and Android app stores in Q1, 2019.

About heymate:

Heymate aims at bringing gig-economy micro-entrepreneurs the flexibility they want while securing their revenue. The heymate platform helps to simplify and formalize deal terms and conditions, manage escrow payment and resolving disputes, all while offering an ecosystem of services such as getting short-term and on-demand insurance, micro-loans, etc. to support micro-entrepreneurs as they grow.

The heymate mobile app is the first product of the heymate platform, operated by Blockchain Applications AG. With it, 100 million people will be able to do business for the first time, and everyone else will be able to close a deal 100 times faster.

TRK Connection Add Industry-Leading Reverification Functionality to Insight RDM Mortgage QC Platform

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah /ScoopCloud/ -- TRK Connection (TRK), a leading provider of mortgage quality control (QC) and origination management solutions, announced it has added functionality to its flagship QC audit platform Insight Risk & Defect Management (RDM) to help lenders digitally manage the reverification process, including eSign and automated bulk document indexing.

Using Insight RDM's eSign capabilities, external sources (employers, financial institutions, etc.) can electronically complete re-verification documents, eliminating the need to print and mail (or fax) outbound documents and scan and attach inbound documents while also providing a more secure method of document delivery, completion and return.

"Lenders' digital mortgage efforts shouldn't stop at the closing table," said Teri Sundh, CEO of TRK Connection. "Insight RDM is the first mortgage QC platform to offer its users full eSign capabilities so that they can continue to operate electronically and take advantage of the efficiency and cost-savings benefits inherent in a digital mortgage environment."

For those institutions that still receive re-verification documents in paper format, Insight's bulk document indexing feature Redex(TM) helps lenders and audit firms streamline their re-verification process using electronic batch processing. With Redex, lenders and audit firms can electronically ingest returned re-verification documents in bulk, and from there, the system sorts, organizes and indexes the documents and then automatically attaches them to their associated loan files.

"While TRK is a fervent advocate of the industry's digital mortgage efforts, we also recognize that, until digital mortgage adoption becomes widespread, there are still going to be instances where lenders will need to work in paper, especially in the re-verification process," Sundh said. "Redex is our solution to this issue. By enabling lenders and audit firms to electronically ingest and process these documents in bulk, we're saving our clients untold hours of labor that be re-directed towards activities that have a greater impact on improving loan quality."

About TRK Connection:

Founded in 2013, TRK Connection prides itself on its ability to develop technologies that allow businesses to surpass their organizational needs and meet their business objectives. As an innovator in the mortgage origination and quality assurance space, TRK continues to develop and refine solutions geared to promote and strengthen the loan origination process, pre/post-close loan audits and the defect remediation process.

Currently, TRK offers solutions that support Mortgage Audit & Quality Control (Insight Risk & Defect Management(TM)), Loan Origination Vendor Management (Core Connect(TM)), Complete LOS Connectivity Platforms and more. For more information, visit http://trkconnection.com.
