Aaron Ozee Considers Eight Figure Acquisition Offer for Regulus Literary Empire

CHICAGO, Ill. /ScoopCloud/ -- Aaron Ozee, celebrity author of the bestselling children's book, "Regulus" (ISBN: 978-1387010790), and revered director of the "Regulus" movie, has received an eight-figure acquisition offer from a private investment group for the literary empire constructed around his infamous rat king character.

Ozee started developing the story that became "Regulus" halfway through 2017 while attending the College of DuPage within the first years of his college education and launched what became an international phenomenon with the largest self-publishing house in the world, Lulu Press Inc, that very summer on July 23, 2017. Little did Ozee know what his creation would spawn during the years that followed, but what transpired escalated his work, and his name, into legend.

Once "Regulus" hit bookshelves worldwide, it was only two weeks later that Amazon, being the largest bookseller on Earth, ranked this lauded tale as the #1 New Release for Children's Books. Media across the United States, and soon the world, spoke about Ozee with such high regard as the skies made way for something that only few authors have experienced in their lifetimes.

Original artwork, folk songs, street murals, branded merchandise, sculptures, video games, plush toys, and even face masks for the COVID-19 pandemic were produced by numerous creators and partnered sources in admiration for "Regulus". Ozee sent copies of his marvel of a book to many prominent world leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Angela Merkel, and Emmanuel Macron. To his surprise, Ozee was delighted with personal responses from each congratulating him on what the fruits of his labor meant for the future of youth everywhere.

Ozee has collaborated with prominent restaurant chains and popular consumer brands such as Epic Burger, Jarritos, City Barbecue, Crystal Geyser Spring Water, Eli's Cheesecake, and Lou Malnati's Pizza glorifying the relationship between "Regulus" and his treasure hoard of cheese. Ozee has amassed millions of subscribers and followers on his social media and digital profiles through forming associations with innumerable artistic connoisseurs across the Internet.

Ozee even went as far as to send a physical copy of his cherished fable into space making it the First American Children's Book and First Self-Published Book Sent Into Space. Ozee continued this unorthodox campaign upon sending "Regulus" to several rare locations such as Mt. Everest, Chernobyl, North Korean DMZ, Bermuda Triangle, and the Galapagos Islands.

It was not much long after that Ozee sold the "Regulus" film rights to Bizarros Studio for adaptation into a stop motion animated picture that debuted exclusively on Amazon Prime in March 2020.

Celebrated actors, musicians, influencers, athletes, comedians, motivational speakers, and even political candidates respected in most family households continue to endorse "Regulus" as Ozee aims to make his dreams come true. One uncommon fact is that Ozee is only 24 years old and is on the brink of making history in the realm of the written universe.

"This has to be the proudest moment for my career. The world must understand this is not the end of a long journey but is a beautiful start to something exceptionally special," remarked Ozee during this announcement.

Carbon Credit Cart Launches New Service – Purchase of Carbon Credits Made Easy

BOULDER, Colo. /ScoopCloud/ -- Carbon Credit Cart LLC today announced a new service that provides an easy and affordable way for consumers to purchase carbon credits for themselves or to give as gifts. Carbon Credit Cart (carboncreditcart.com) offers the simplest way to balance carbon-generating activities at home, work, and from leisure activities with carbon credits that fund registered carbon mitigation projects.

"Carbon credits to offset everyday carbon-producing activities cost less than most people think, and now we've made them easier to buy," says Hans Bjordahl, Co-Founder and CEO. "Whether it's an airplane flight, a package delivery, household energy use, or a business activity, you can buy carbon credits to balance your climate impact and pick the specific carbon mitigation projects you'd like to fund."

Carbon Credit Cart also offers carbon credit gift cards. "We hope people will find the gift of carbon credits to be the perfect holiday choice for friends and family," says Bjordahl. "With prices starting as low as $10 to offset an entire metric tonne of carbon, that's a pretty good stocking stuffer."

Carbon offset projects available on Carbon Credit Cart span the globe, from the Southern Cardamom rainforest in Cambodia to Afognak Island in Alaska, USA. "Every project tells a story, and we want people to connect with projects that are meaningful to them," says Co-Founder and CCO Trevor Dodd.

Features and benefits of Carbon Credit Cart include:

* Consumers can now buy affordable carbon credits for themselves, family and friends, and employees from a selection of registered carbon mitigation projects from around the globe.

* Purchasers receive a certificate confirming their carbon credits purchase that includes the registered serial numbers for those retired carbon credits to ensure that carbon credits are only sold once.

* Carbon credit gift cards are an easy and thoughtful way to engage others while helping the planet this holiday season.

Carbon Credit Cart is available starting November 23, 2020, for as little as $10 per carbon credit. One carbon credit offsets 1 metric tonne of carbon.

For more information on Carbon Credit Cart and the projects available on its platform, visit https://www.carboncreditcart.com/.

Four Thousand Recovered Members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus Donate Plasma for the Third Time to Combat COVID-19

DAEGU, South Korea /ScoopCloud/ -- 4,000 members from Shincheonji Church of Jesus are planned to participate in the group's third plasma donation drive, starting from November 16, 2020.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus (SCJ), is an organization established in South Korea with branches across the globe. After multiple members within the church unexpectedly contracted the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in February, 4,000 recovered congregation members vowed to donate their convalescent plasma to help with treatment efforts. Over 300 SCJ members within the church have donated more than once.

"It's the most valuable thing we can do [as people who have recovered from COVID]," one plasma donor of SCJ church stated. "Through our experience of participating in plasma donation, all of the members of our congregation have realized that the power to overcome COVID-19 is tolerance, love, and unity."

Within July and September, 1,700 people of the congregation participated in two waves of plasma donation drives with the support of the city of Daegu and Korean Red Cross. This upcoming event will mark the beginning of the third donation drive.

As COVID-19 cases rise, convalescent plasma from recovered individuals becomes exceedingly vital to combat the pandemic. The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) has publicly requested for more recovered people to donate their plasma as SCJ has done.

"It is necessary to quickly develop plasma treatment through group plasma donation in the current absence of an effective treatment in the midst of the continuous occurrence of COVID-19 at home and abroad," they stated last month.

On November 3rd, The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters (CDSCH) held a regular briefing on COVID-19 as the country works to respond against new waves of infection.

"For the purpose of developing plasma treatment, about 4,000 Shincheonji members plan to participate in plasma donation for three weeks, starting on the 16th," CDSCH Deputy Director Kwon Joon-wook explained. "We are grateful for the active participation of Shincheonji, and for the cooperation of the City of Daegu and the Korean Red Cross."

While the recovered church members donate plasma, the other thousands of members worldwide have come together in online prayer gatherings. As they follow COVID-19 social distancing regulations, the church continues to pray diligently for the cessation of the pandemic and the health and safety of medical workers.

Despite the gradual ease of church gathering restrictions in South Korea, SCJ plans to continue with online services to prevent the spread while the viral situation remains unstable. Nevertheless, Shincheonji Church of Jesus remains committed to offering support for the worldwide community - one plasma donation at a time.

Dominion Energy – Surry Power Station in Surry, Va. Receives Their Fourth ‘Virginia Star’ Designation Under the Department of Labor and Industry’s Voluntary Protection Program

RICHMOND, Va. /ScoopCloud/ -- Commissioner C. Ray Davenport announced today that Dominion Energy Surry Power Station in Surry, Virginia, has been recertified as a Virginia STAR Worksite under Virginia's Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH) Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), the program's highest level of recognition. The facility was approved on November 23, 2020 with their third recertification since originally being certified on April 13, 2005.

"I am very proud of the Dominion Energy Surry Power Station for embodying the VPP commitment to safety and health, day in and day out, as they strive to make Virginia a better and safer place to work and live," said Commissioner Davenport. "I congratulate Dominion Energy Surry Power Station in Surry, Virginia, on the occasion of their recertification as a Virginia STAR Worksite."

The Surry Power Station's commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace for its employees is demonstrated by its very low injury and illness rates. The worksite has a total three-year average for the TCIR (Total Case Incident Rate for injuries and illnesses) of 0.17 compared with a Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) national rate of 0.20. This represents a TCIR rate that is 15% lower than the national average. The site's three-year average DART rate (Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred injury and illness cases) is 0.03, compared with the 0.10 national rate, which is 66% below the national average.

As part of the recognition for achieving STAR status under VPP, the worksite is entitled to fly the "Virginia STAR" worksite flag. The Surry Power Station is the second VPP STAR site in Virginia and one of three VPP STAR sites in the United States. VPP includes two levels of participation, Merit and STAR, with STAR being the highest. Similar voluntary protection programs are conducted in other states across the country.

The process for reaching Virginia STAR status is extensive ensuring that the very best programs qualify. Since the inception of Virginia's VPP in 1996, only 72 Virginia STAR worksites have been recognized, and only 35 Virginia companies currently retain the Virginia STAR designation. The Surry Power Station has set a standard of excellence that is second to none.

In Virginia VPP, a cooperative relationship is formed between the VOSH program, the employer, and employees, which include the agreement of company leaders to operate an exceptional safety and health management system that meets a rigorous set of criteria. Employers agree to voluntarily participate in the program and directly involve employees in all aspects of the safety and health management systems.

Businesses that participate in VPP substantially improve safety and health protections for thousands of employees through cooperative efforts to reduce injuries, illnesses, and fatal accidents. Virginia STAR sites regularly report decreased bottom line costs associated with dramatically reduced injury and illness rates (an average of over 50% below the respective industry average), improved productivity and employee morale. Reducing private sector employer costs associated with the above-mentioned enhances a company's economic viability and competitiveness while increasing capital.

DOLI operates six recognition programs including:

1 - Virginia STAR, a cooperative relationship between the VOSH program, employers, and employees including the agreement of company leaders to operate exceptional safety and health management systems that meet a rigorous set of occupational safety and health criteria. Requirements include an extensive application process, submission of written safety and health policies and procedures, demonstration of successful implementation of those programs through injury and illness rates that are below the national average for the employer's industry, and an intensive weeklong inspection by a team of VPP experts.

2 - Virginia BEST (Building Excellence in Safety, Health and Training), a strategic partnership between the DOLI and the Associated General Contractors of Virginia (AGCVA) that recognizes AGCVA members who voluntarily implement highly effective safety and health management systems to benefit construction workers and reduce or eliminate injuries, illnesses, and fatalities on construction sites in Virginia.

3 - Virginia BUILT, a new strategic partnership between the DOLI and the Associated Builders and Contractors of Virginia (ABCVA) and is designed to encourage and recognize ABC-VA members who voluntarily implement highly effective safety and health management systems to benefit construction workers and reduce or eliminate injuries, illnesses, and fatalities on construction sites in Virginia. The Virginia BUILT program incorporates the ABC STEP program (Safety Training Evaluation Process) as the gateway to participation in Virginia BUILT.

4 - Virginia CHALLENGE, a formal three-stage recognition program that dramatically improves safety and health at the worksite and prepares the company to apply for Virginia STAR recognition.

5 - VOSH-VADOC CHALLENGE, a strategic partnership between the DOLI and the Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) to recognize safety and health excellence at correctional facilities around the Commonwealth. Three stages of participation in VADOC Challenge prepare sites to apply for Virginia STAR recognition. Virginia has the only two correctional facilities in the nation to have received VPP STAR status, Augusta and Lunenburg Correctional Centers. Additional information can be obtained by contacting the DOLI office closest to you at www.doli.virginia.gov or Milford Stern, VPP Manager, at (540) 562-3580, ext. 123, or Milford.Stern@doli.virginia.gov.

6 - The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) recognizes businesses of 250 employees or fewer and is administered by the DOLI Consultative Services Division. Contact Tracy Michaud, Consultation Program Manager, (804) 786-8707 or tracy.michaud@doli.virginia.gov.

DOLI also offers free On-Site Consultation Services to help employers better understand and voluntarily comply with VOSH standards. Priority is given to high hazard workplaces with 250 or fewer employees and all services are offered to employers at no cost. On-Site Consultation Services helps employers identify and correct potential safety and health hazards by conducting walk-through surveys (without citations or penalties), abatement advice, on-site training, and program assistance to develop safety and health programs.

Additional information about On-Site Consultation Services can be obtained by contacting the DOLI office closest to you at https://www.doli.virginia.gov/about/doli-offices-statewide/ or by contacting Tracy Michaud, Consultation Program Manager, (804) 786-8707, or tracy.michaud@doli.virginia.gov.

The Virginia Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH) program is financed in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), under §23(g) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. The FFY21 Virginia State Plan is funded by a grant of $4,332,400 federal funds, which constitutes 50% of the State Plan budget excluding any state overmatch funds. Zero percent, or $0.00 of the State Plan budget, is financed through nongovernmental sources.

The Virginia On-Site Consultation Cooperative Agreement program is financed in part by a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), under §21(d) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970. The FFY21 Virginia Consultation program is funded by a grant of $1,189,200 federal funds, which constitutes 90% of the Virginia Consultation program budget excluding any state overmatch funds. DataNumen Outlook Drive Recovery 7.6: Restore Outlook Data after Permanent Deletion or Drive Formatting

NEW YORK, N.Y. /ScoopCloud/ -- DataNumen, a software company specializing in professional data recovery tools, announces the release of DataNumen Outlook Drive Recovery 7.6. This program performs exhaustive recovery of Outlook data in case of permanent deletion by mistake, hard drive formatting, or hardware failure. The new version of this tool boasts improved performance of the recovery engine and reduced memory consumption.

MS Outlook is an email client and personal information manager that comes as a part of the Microsoft Office suite and has over 400 million active users. Microsoft Outlook uses PST files to store the user's data: emails, calendar entries, tasks, and other items. PST files are usually located on a local hard drive, and sometimes they can be lost because of hardware failure, permanent deletion, unintentional hard drive formatting, or re-partitioning. If such files contain critical business data or valuable personal information, their loss can lead to financial damage or deep emotional distress.

To avoid such consequences, it is recommended to get a powerful recovery solution that can restore Outlook data on formatted or malfunctioning drives - for example, DataNumen Outlook Drive Recovery. It uses the company's proprietary technology that has proven its efficiency in another PST recovery tool, DataNumen Outlook Repair. It demonstrates an impressive average recovery rate: 95.7%, with its competitors falling far behind.

How to restore PST files with DataNumen Outlook Drive Recovery? The simplicity of the whole process is quite remarkable. First, the user needs to make sure that no data is written or changed on the source drive or disk. Then the user selects the logical drive where the lost Outlook data was originally stored (or the whole hard disk if the logical drive does not exist anymore). After specifying the output file name, the user clicks "Start Recovery", and the program restores all Outlook data from the selected drive.

It is also worth mentioning that DataNumen Outlook Drive Recovery can restore encrypted and password-protected PST files even if the user does not have the password. Besides, the solution supports batch recovery, restores data on corrupted media, and successfully handles large files up to 16777216 TB.

DataNumen Outlook Drive Recovery helps in the following cases:
* The user has deleted Outlook PST files and emptied the Recycle Bin;
* PST files are permanently deleted by mistake or by accident;
* The drive containing PST files is formatted;
* The disk is repartitioned, and the drive containing Outlook data does not exist anymore;
* The drive or disk cannot be read due to hardware failure;
* The drive or disk cannot be started or recognized due to corruption in MBR or other reasons.

Learn more about DataNumen Outlook Drive Recovery at: https://www.datanumen.com/outlook-drive-recovery/

Pricing and Availability

In A Year Full of Uncertainty, Stack Sports Remains Focused on Innovation and Thankful for Its Strong Partners

PLANO, Texas /ScoopCloud/ -- After a record first quarter for Stack Sports, the novel coronavirus took the United States by storm - closing schools, halting sports, and even shutting down whole communities. With over 95% of athletes nationwide impacted in some way, Americans looked to find the way forward. Companies like Stack Sports looked to act quickly to help serve their more than 20 thousand Partners in the sports community, representing over 8 million families.

"It all starts with the local club and the families that participate. We knew we had to act quickly to find ways to serve them, without knowing what that might look like at the time," said Jeff Brunsberg, Chief Revenue and Strategy Officer at Stack Sports. "All we could say for sure was that we were going to do what it took to make sure that sports organizations knew they had a committed Partner when they needed it most."

Stack Sports immediately took action, first by listening to its Partners to find ways to serve them. Next came the launch of Miles4My Community, a virtual event that raised money for sports organizations. At the same time, the teams at Sports Connect, which serves clubs and leagues through participation growth software, were busy innovating in the product. With an unprecedented change to how clubs needed to manage finances, the team quickly released functions to assist organizations in serving sports families. Also adding valuable new functionality including; registration insurance, club credits to serve as an alternative to refunds for parents, zero-cost programs, and mobile-first registration.

The continued investment, combined with its relentless focus on service, lead to Sports Connect securing many long-term partnerships amidst the pandemic, reinforcing its position as the industry leader in youth sports.

"We're proud to extend our partnership with Stack Sports," said Bryan Attridge, CEO of Utah Youth Soccer Association. "For over a decade now, we have worked with the Stack Sports team to innovate and plan for our future. That's why we are excited to extend our partnership with Stack Sports and continue to offer our membership best in class technology,"

Tom Arnett, GM of Sports Connect, responded to this high praise saying, "We are proud to get to be a part of the recovery story for so many organizations. As 2020 went on we saw countless heartwarming stories flowing in from our Partners. As they started to see success, we knew we were on the right path. We are so thankful to get to serve these organizations and so thankful for what they have done in this tough time."

The list of success stories from Partners ranged from Utah Youth Soccer Association finding a way to crown state champions this year to Rhyne Park Girls Softball pulling off a sandlot season to keep kids active--there are hundreds of stories like this to be thankful for.

It wasn't just Stack Sports Partners who were blazing trails during the comeback in 2020, though. The team at Student Sports, the Stack Sports experience platform, was busy finding ways to safely and creatively bring to life two premier national events. The Elite 11 Finals and the Area Code Games were held under strict COVID protocols to serve our athletes, parents, evaluators, and partners through innovative activations and a heavy emphasis on digital integration. The team rallied to deliver a world-class experience with player safety as a top priority.

"We're incredibly thankful for the athletes, parents, and partners who trusted and supported us during this unprecedented event season," said Zack Greer, GM of Student Sports.

And while the live aspect of sports is so important it's not the only place where innovation was apparent this year. Two other Stack Sports groups were busy connecting people virtually. The Skyhawks created more virtual camp opportunities for families than any other group in the country, while CaptainU ramped up its assistance for universities to be the top facilitator for remote recruiting.

"CaptainU and the team have helped me build the first-ever boys (soccer) team and during a pandemic! Right when this started I knew who I had to call so we could start to strategize," said Shawn Hall, Lincoln Trail College Men's & Women's Soccer Coach. "Being stuck indoors means online all the time and they give me the staff and tools for the job."

Above all else, though, Stack Sports stayed focused on service and innovation. They were committed to being there when organizations were ready to return to play, and where things have been slower, they continue to support the community in any way possible. A great example of that is the collaboration with the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association and FOX to create an uplifting series of commercials that incorporated videos of athletes training indoors. The series encouraged athletes to stay safe and let them know that when they were ready, the game would be there for them.

"We're proud to partner with Stack Sports," Said Josh Joshua Krusewski, Executive Director at CJSA. "We reached out to them for support on a campaign we wanted to run with our local Fox affiliate, and they didn't hesitate to jump in. What our teams were able to create was really positive for CJSA and our local athletes and families."

While this year was a challenging year for many around the country, the Stack Sports team sees a lot to be thankful for.

"For us, we are thankful for our teams that work tirelessly to support the sports community, our Partners who serve their communities through the toughest of times, and for the families that continue to trust us with their athletes," said Jeff Young, CEO of Stack Sports.

Ed ‘NJWeedman’ Forchion Wages His Own War on Drugs – Sues the State of New Jersey Over ‘Bait and Switch’ Cannabis Regulation Laws

TRENTON, N.J. /ScoopCloud/ -- The 'war on drugs' has just taken a wicked left turn. On Friday, November 20, 2020, one of marijuana's staunchest supporters, Ed "NJWeedman" Forchion held an online press conference at his NJWeedman's Joint location, contesting New Jersey's recent legalization of cannabis. Forchion announced his federal lawsuit against New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, accusing the state of baiting New Jersey citizens into voting for the legalization of a corporate, Caucasian run cannabis industry, under the guise of legalizing marijuana.

Forchion notes that under the current developing legislation, marijuana will still be illegal and in fact, criminalized, in underserved communities.

View Case 3:20-cv-16582-PGS-TJB FORCHION v. MURPHY at: http://njweedman.com/Federal_Cannabis_lawsuit.pdf.

In a 40 plus page document, filed at the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Forchion seeks to have the "Court declare unconstitutional and invalid the application and implementation of the 'Constitutional Amendment to Legalize Marijuana.'" Forchion asserts that the Regulated Cannabis Act, as the amendment is referred to in the lawsuit, "deprives him of equal protection and due process under the United States Constitution and subjects him to selective prosecution."

Forchion notes that the state unfairly allows Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act (CUMMA) dispensaries to possess large amounts of marijuana in violation of federal law while prosecuting individuals such as himself. Forchion, a long-time marijuana activist, has had numerous marijuana related prosecutions brought against him by the State of New Jersey, including a pending matter.

In addition, Forchion proposes that voters were duped into believing that they were voting to legalize marijuana, while unwittingly sanctioning a cannabis industry which only grants legalization to a majority of Caucasian owned corporate entities while criminalizing individuals of color, who in effect will not be granted similar market access.

"This new Caucasian corporate cannabis industry is a sham," apprizes Forchion. "Politicians are in cahoots with corporations to take over and control what is now a multi-billion-dollar industry while excluding the existing marijuana market. We are witnessing systematic discrimination. Only 'regulated cannabis' which is defined as the pot sold by dealers licensed by a new bureaucracy called the Cannabis Regulatory Commission will be allowed in the marketplace. But individuals possessing and selling marijuana - such as myself, will still be in violation of the law. The community that paved the road for legalization and paid the price with incarceration and felonies, are being locked out of the 'new' industry and will continue to be locked up."

"It's the cocaine vs. crack dilemma all over again," explains Forchion, "similar to the war on drugs when prison sentences were handed down to people of color for using crack cocaine, while individuals, who were most notably white, were hardly prosecuted for using powder cocaine. Our State Attorney General Gurbir Grewal is on record stating that the new amendment does not authorize 'unregulated marijuana.' New Jersey is subtly creating a distinction between 'marijuana' for the masses versus state 'regulated cannabis' for the establishment," cites Forchion.

New Jersey has come under mounting criticism since the recent passing of legalization. Politicians, community activists and the media have taken the state to task for attempting to push through a corporatized cannabis culture that doesn't seem to best serve its constituents. Headlines have drawn attention to the state's blatant interest in profits over compassion. In fact, lawmakers' first attempt at enabling legislation has been halted amid growing criticism. The number of licenses set aside for Black and Latino communities in the bill has been widely criticized and advocates have demanded more opportunities be extended for people with criminal records for low-level drug convictions.

Forchion, whose lawsuit positions him squarely amid the ongoing conflict, is no newcomer to battle. At cited in his lawsuit, he has been vehemently retaliated against in the past by the State of New Jersey. In 2002, he was jailed for advocating the legalization of marijuana. Forchion was held at the Burlington County Jail from August 19, 2002 until late January 2003 when United States District Court Federal Judge Joseph E. Irenas, U.S.D.J., hearing his civil rights suit, agreed that the state had violated Forchion's First Amendment right to advocate marijuana's legalization and ordered him released.

In 2016, Forchion and his partner, Debi Madaio, had their restaurant raided by Mercer County law enforcement authorities on marijuana dealing charges. Forchion was held without bail for over 400 days due to the retaliatory charge of witness tampering. He was acquitted by a jury and all charges were dismissed with no convictions.

NotaryCam Marks Significant Spike in Use of Remote Online Notarization for eWills in Second Half of 2020

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. /ScoopCloud/ -- NotaryCam®, the pioneering leader in online notarization and original provider of mortgage eClosing solutions, today announced that it has seen a 10X-increase in the number of remote online notarization (RON) transactions the company has performed for electronic wills (eWills) thus far in 2020. The company attributes a significant portion of this increase to the passage of Florida's eWill legislation, which went into effect on July 1, 2020.

Since launching its eWill product in 2019, NotaryCam has enabled testators to create and notarize video eWills, advanced health directives, trusts, etc. without having to appear physically in person before a notary. NotaryCam engages two forms of identification and allows witnesses and/or attorneys to join the ceremony from anywhere. To ensure the wishes laid out in the eWill survive probate, NotaryCam added security measures including securely storing video recording the signing ceremony for a minimum of 10 years and tamper-sealing on the notarized document. Witnesses and/or attorneys can also join the ceremony from anywhere in the world.

"In today's world, eWills not only provide individuals a convenient and secure platform through which to create a will, but also the peace of mind knowing it can be easily accessed at any time from anywhere," said NotaryCam Founder and CEO Rick Triola. "For example, in a situation in which a living will or advanced care directive needs to be accessed, it provides comfort to the family to not only know their loved one's wishes, but to see them on video as those wishes were expressed."

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the ability to create and notarize eWills has become more significant as well as more convenient as states issued emergency orders authorizing RON transactions. Although many states have recognized the legality of eWills for years, RON now allows individuals/testators to remotely execute these documents with or without their attorneys having to appear physically in the same room. Thus, allowing eWills or any estate planning documents to be remotely notarized, eliminates several barriers that might otherwise prevent individuals from engaging in advanced care/estate planning. Additionally, the emergency legislation surrounding RON allows NotaryCam to add security and identity proofing, adding both long-term defensible evidence and peace of mind to eWill transactions.

For Florida-based estate planning firm and NotaryCam client de Jesus Law Group, LLC, the ability to electronically execute wills and other estate planning documents was key to maintaining its operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Our previous process involved a lot of manual work with paper and physically mailing documents. Because of COVID, our firm went completely virtual, and we had to find a new way to get our signings done. When we looked into eWills, NotaryCam immediately stood out as the only electronic notary platform that could perform eWill transactions in Florida currently," said the firm's co-founder Irene de Jesus. "After our first eWill transaction with NotaryCam, I was already comfortable with the process and immediately saw how this process will save us a lot of time and resources."

According to de Jesus, one of the added benefits is that NotaryCam also provides witnesses to the transaction, thus eliminating the need for her clients to do so This not only streamlines the transaction by reducing the number of parties involved in scheduling, but it also reduces the overall cost to the testator. For de Jesus, NotaryCam's streamlined, cost-conscious approach to RON for estate planning made the difference in putting eWills within her firm's financial reach and has fundamentally changed how her firm plans to handled signings beyond the pandemic.

"We've just started to realize the cost savings over our previous process, but I can tell you that based on what we've seen so far, I'm not changing how we're doing this once COVID is done," she added."

About NotaryCam

After pioneering the world's first multi-party/multi-state remote online notarization (RON) in 2012, visionary entrepreneur Rick Triola founded NotaryCam and completed the first mortgage remote online closing (ROC(tm)) in 2014. Spodak Dental Group Collects More Than 250 Pounds of Halloween Candy for Operation Gratitude

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. /ScoopCloud/ -- Spodak Dental Group and Operation Gratitude are teaching kids the value of giving back by donating their Halloween candy in support of troops overseas and local heroes. The team was able to collect more than 250 pounds of candy from local children and schools' groups, and joined the nationwide win-win movement for kids, parents, dentists and local military members and first responders.

"While we participate in many non-profit events and fundraisers throughout the year, Operation Gratitude's Halloween Candy Give-Back Program is one that is truly special to our entire team," said Dr. Craig Spodak, general dentist and co-founder of All-Star Smiles, a non-profit organization with a goal to eradicate childhood tooth decay. "While tooth decay is largely preventable, it remains one of the most common diseases of childhood. Giving kids the opportunity to donate their candy instead of eating it, and teaching them the importance of being thankful for their local heroes, is something we will always support."

Spodak Dental Group participated in the "Direct Delivery" program this year and was matched with West Palm Beach Police Department Community Response Division-HCGB 2020. A "Direct Delivery" is a meaningful engagement opportunity for donors to connect and personally deliver their candy to one of Operation Gratitude's registered military, veteran, first responder or frontline hero groups. These direct connections help to fulfill Operation Gratitude's mission of forging strong bonds between Americans and their military and first responder heroes through volunteer service projects, acts of gratitude, and meaningful engagements in communities nationwide.

Dr. Craig Spodak and the Spodak Dental Group team remains proud to participate in the Operation Gratitude Halloween Give-Back Program to reduce excess sugar consumption, prevent dental decay, and teach children the importance of saying "thank you" to all who serve.

In 2019, Operation Gratitude received more than 361,000 pounds of candy from more than 3,100 donors, and was able to distribute to more than 140 first responders, military and veteran organizations through care packages and direct deliveries.

"As we have all seen recently, the world can turn upside down in a matter of days. One thing that we can always count on during a crisis is our military and first responders on the frontlines," said the CEO of Operation Gratitude, retired Marine Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Schmiegel. "While they continue to serve, we will continue to support them with the help of this coalition. Together, we will deliver millions of critically needed items and letters of appreciation globally to the Frontline First Responders who need it most."

Candy and handwritten letters and drawings were collected at Spodak Dental Group, located at 3911 W. Atlantic Ave., the week of November 2 during normal business hours. Spodak Dental Group gave kids $1 per pound, up to 5 pounds maximum.

About Spodak Dental Group

The Spodak Dental Group, a 2017 Inc. 5000 honoree, has evolved to become South Florida's premier, comprehensive dental facility, and comprises a world-class association of dental professionals poised to provide full-service dental care second-to-none in both scope and skill. The Spodak Dental Group team includes General and Restorative Dentists, Endodontists, Periodontists, Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Master Ceramic Artists and Anesthesiologists, as well as one of the nation's only in-office dental labs. Spodak Dental Group is located at 3911 W. Atlantic Ave. Call or text (561) 303-2413 or visit https://www.SpodakDental.com for more information.

About Operation Gratitude

Operation Gratitude's mission is to forge strong bonds between Americans and their Military and First Responder heroes through volunteer service projects, acts of gratitude, and meaningful engagements in communities nationwide. More than 17 years ago, in March of 2003, Operation Gratitude sent its first four Care Packages to deployed Service Members in Iraq. Since its inception, the organization has given millions of Americans the opportunity to express appreciation through hands-on volunteerism and lifted the spirits of more than 1.8 million Deployed Troops, and another 1.1 million recruit graduates, veterans, military families, first responders and healthcare heroes. Corporate partners and grateful citizens from across the country donate more than 15 million "Wish List" and handmade items each year to fill the Care Packages. Through donation drives, letter-writing campaigns, craft projects, hands-on service projects, and other activities, volunteers are the heart and soul of the organization. Car Seat Cover Becomes Key Part of Continuum of Care

TOWSON, Md. /ScoopCloud/ -- The inventor of the Ruby Slipper Car Seat Cover, Katherine Miles, explains that this seemingly-simple product-essentially, two pieces of slippery fabric-has proven to be a key part of a continuum of care for seniors with limited mobility and for persons recovering from injury or surgery.

The Ruby Slipper helps people enter and exit a vehicle seat with ease, allowing seniors and patients to get to the places they want and need to go: visiting friends and family, running errands and going to medical appointments.

* For seniors, the Ruby Slipper can help retain independence by removing a roadblock to transportation, freeing seniors to continue to enjoy a range of activities.

* For those recovering from illness, injury or surgery, the Ruby Slipper makes going to the doctor, hospital or physical therapist less of a challenge (or an impossibility), allowing the patient to continue the journey to health.

* For caregivers, the Ruby Slipper makes helping a family member, friend or client into and out of the car a much easier task, which expands the range of possible activities and reduces resistance to outings.

"For many seniors, the Ruby Slipper becomes a long-term part of their routine. Favorite activities can be sustained and contribute to overall enjoyment of life," said Miles. "Folks rehabbing from injury or surgery find the Ruby Slipper is a low-cost, easy-to-use way to continue their recovery. And as a former caregiver myself, I can vouch for the difference it makes when getting in and out of a car is no longer an obstacle."

Many customers agree and have shared their satisfaction with the Ruby Slipper:

* "WOW-what a huge difference it made! ... I just tuck her legs into the front and slide her in. It's SO easy and I can't be more thankful!"-Lisa Jennings

* "Didn't really believe it until I saw how it helped my mom move in and out of the car more easily."-Ely from Florida

* "This has proven to be the easiest car seat cover for me to use. It slides me in and out with no effort. After a fall, I had to find an easier way to get into the passenger seat ...."-T. Perkins

* "Very good product. My husband uses it in his driver's seat of car. He has decreased mobility in his hips. It helps a great deal."-Deborah Price

* "My dad has Parkinson's and we were having a hard time getting him in and out of a new car .... I knew we needed something to help him slide around once he sat down. This product was the perfect solution and has made a great impact on his ability and our ability (when he needs assistance) to get him in and out of the car."-Sherry Rolsma

About the Ruby Slipper Car Seat Cover

The Ruby Slipper is a two-layer nylon seat cover that creates a unique sliding action, allowing an individual to pivot smoothly into and out of a car seat.

The Ruby Slipper is easily installed in minutes. The user or caregiver rotates the top layer of nylon fabric over the seating area toward the door to hang over the side of the seat. Then, the user sits on the fabric, swivels into the car to place his or her feet on the floor, and slides back into the seat. (If help is needed, a caregiver can grasp the individual's legs and rotate them into the car.)

The Ruby Slipper is inexpensive, easy to use and easily stored when not needed. It fits virtually all passenger cars and trucks, works on both cloth and leather seats, and can be moved from car to car as needed. The nylon fabric is rugged, comfortable and easy to care for.

About Ruby Slipper, LLC

Made entirely in America, the Ruby Slipper Car Seat Cover can be purchased online at https://www.rubyslippercarseatcover.com/ (via PayPal) or by calling 877-855-3065. The cost is $79.95 plus $11.95 shipping. The Ruby Slipper comes with a 30-day money back guarantee.

Community State Bank Implements Fully Paperless eClosing Process with DocMagic’s Total eClose™ Platform

TORRANCE, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- DocMagic, Inc., the premier provider of fully-compliant loan document preparation, regulatory compliance and comprehensive eMortgage services, announced that Southeast Wisconsin-based Community State Bank has implemented its full suite of eClosing solutions to transform the bank's mortgage closing process, making it 100 percent digital. All seven locations of Community State Bank have now implemented DocMagic's Total eClose™ platform and are closing and funding residential home loans electronically.

Bright Road Recovery Contracts with Magellan to Provide Eating Disorder Treatment for Blue Shield Subscribers

CLAREMONT, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- Bright Road Recovery, the Inland Empire's Premier Eating Disorder Treatment Program, announced today that they are now in-network with Magellan Healthcare. This is good news for Blue Shield subscribers in the Inland Empire who are looking for help with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, or ARFID. Since Magellan is the mental health benefits administrator for most Blue Shield policies, many who have Blue Shield of California, or other Blue Shield policies, will have more access to excellent care, closer to home.

"We are so pleased to be able to provide services for more individuals in our community who are seeking help for their eating disorder," said Bright Road Recovery's Executive Director and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist Supervisor, Tamson Overholtzer, LMFT, CEDS-S. "The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic have increased the need for support and treatment, and we look forward to being there for those who need us."

The pandemic has affected how everyone receives mental health or medical care; however, Bright Road Recovery was among the first eating disorder treatment programs to transition both their intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs to a telehealth format, maintaining almost completely uninterrupted services at the beginning of the shutdown in March.

"It was an amazing sight to see our team swing into action when it became clear that in-person programming wasn't going to be safe and a shutdown was imminent," Overholtzer stated. "We talked about how to make sure not to lose any of the effectiveness of the program, and then everyone pitched in to make sure their part was handled. We made the switch in only five days, and with almost zero glitches."

"We know that doing everything remotely on the computer is challenging and exhausting for everyone. We are proud of the ways we've kept the fidelity of our in-person program, so that there's no drop off in quality for our patients," says Katie Ingram, Program Manager. "We've also managed to keep many of the personal touches that help our patients feel connected to us and to the program. For patients who live nearby, we have daily meal pickups and a chance to receive materials for the day's group sessions--and for those who aren't nearby, we accommodate to make sure their needs are met in a different way."

While the Bright Road Recovery team looks forward to the days of in-person programming in the future, for now, they feel confident that they are providing excellent care of all their patients--including, now, those who have Blue Shield insurance---or other insurers who have partnered with Magellan for their behavioral health needs.

About Bright Road Recovery:

Bright Road Recovery has been the Inland Empire's premier eating disorder treatment program since 2014, providing intensive outpatient program (IOP) and partial hospitalization program (PHP) care. Bright Road Recovery also offers outpatient psychotherapy for individuals and families as well as professional nutritional counseling by registered dietitians.

Bright Road Recovery is accredited by the Joint Commission, and is the first eating disorder treatment center to receive accreditation from MET(T)A Protocol, which recognizes this program as having trauma-centered, mindfulness-based, EMDR-integrated program.

Located in the historic Claremont Village, Bright Road Recovery has easy freeway and Metrolink access. Parking is easy and plentiful in their private lot. For more information, please visit https://brightroadrecovery.com/.

Massachusetts’ Entrepreneurs Team Up to Deliver ‘Hope’ and ‘Faith’ this Thanksgiving

FALL RIVER, Mass. /ScoopCloud/ -- This Thanksgiving, Gary Simons of Simply Simons restaurant in Swansea, MA, and Peter Moubayed, owner of NorthEast Fleece in Fall River, MA, will deliver homemade hot turkey dinners, warm fleece blankets and a much-needed message of hope.

Since 2006, Simply Simons has prepared, delivered and donated made-from-scratch Thanksgiving Day dinners with "all the fixings." Every holiday season, he and his family and friends prepare, cook, box and deliver up to an impressive 800 meals in the Swansea, Somerset and greater Fall River area. This year, he'll have something new to add into the mix - a warm fleece blanket - complements of NorthEast Fleece.

"For the most part, these people are alone, disabled, veterans and generally families in need," Simons says. "This year, we're expecting a huge spike in deliveries to the elderly who are forced to stay home because of COVID-19."

Moubayed has been a faithful customer at Simons' restaurant for many years and the two cemented a friendship over charitable giving.

"Gary works hard not only at his restaurant but for the community as well," Moubayed says. "From the moment I met him, I knew he had a huge heart. What he's been doing all these years is amazing and I wanted to be a part of it."

Moubayed has a long history of charitable giving, his "Fleece for Peace" blanket donation program has donated and shipped blankets to almost every natural disaster and humanitarian cause worldwide since 1996.

As a leading textile manufacturer, NorthEast Fleece recently created two new inspirational blanket designs that give words of encouragement - "Hope" and "Faith." Bright white letters are printed on a beautifully uplifting sky-blue backdrop.

"When COVID hit and the whole country, including my business, was suddenly shut down, I thought, 'We need hope!' And, so the two new blanket designs were born. It's a simple message, hopefully we are not only warming people, but lifting their spirits too," he shares.

And while the pandemic has also affected Simons' restaurant business, he carries on; his perseverance has paid off. Hot plates and warm blankets will prevail.

"All I kept thinking about were the people who would not get a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving Day if I cancelled because of the virus," he says.

Those in need of a meal and a blanket or for anyone who wishes to donate, please call Simply Simon's at: 508-675-5531 before Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 9 p.m. Simons will close after breakfast on Thanksgiving Day in order to begin packaging the dinners. The meals will be delivered after 1 p.m. into the late afternoon on Thanksgiving Day.

About Simply Simons

Simply Simons has been family-owned since 1998 and has been involved in many charitable events over the years, including "A Wish Come True." It strongly believes in giving back to the community. RMA’s Consulting Strategies Result in Multiple Client Wins at FRA Awards

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. /ScoopCloud/ -- RMA (www.rma.us.com) is proud to announce that their city clients won three of the fourteen awards bestowed by the Florida Redevelopment Association, including the prestigious President's Award. RMA provides staffing services for the West Palm Beach CRA and provides economic development and real estate consultancy services for the City of Deltona. The FRA award ceremony was presented virtually on November 19, 2020.

RMA has been staffing the West Palm Beach CRA since 2014, and the firm was thrilled when FRA announced that the top award across all categories, the President's Award, recognized the Historic Northwest marketing campaign, which was entered in the Cultural Enhancement category. The West Palm Beach CRA also won in the Capital Project and Infrastructure category for the Clematis Street revitalization. In the City of Deltona, RMA's vision and unique deal-making was instrumental in the City's win in the Management Programs and Creative Partnerships category.

"We are thrilled to have our clients recognized for their excellence by the FRA," said Sharon McCormick, Director of Business Development and Attraction for RMA. "RMA is comprehensively focused on excellence, from visioning to implementation. Our consulting firm becomes a committed partner with the leadership of each city, bringing our expertise and innovation in multiple disciplines to the revitalization process."

Throughout the past decade, RMA has been instrumental in a dozen FRA wins for city clients including West Palm Beach, Pompano Beach, Margate and North Miami.

Each year, FRA accepts entries for the annual awards from its members in a variety of categories, ranging from annual reports to cultural enhancement. The entries are examined for effectiveness and completeness - including the narrative, supplemental material and compliance with the submittal instructions.

A cross section of Florida redevelopment professionals, individuals and business organizations judge and rank all of the entries and select the winners.

ABOUT THE AWARD-WINNING PROJECTS:

Category: Cultural Enhancement (Won the President's Award)

The Historic Northwest, located just north of Downtown West Palm Beach, is a long-standing neighborhood enriched with a deep and significant culture spanning back to the 1890s and early 1900s. It was here that African-Americans established institutions, businesses and ultimately a way of life that would carry on for generations to come. Now with the help of the Northwest community, the West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency is working to renew the renaissance of a place where you're encouraged to "find your rhythm, explore your roots and live your destiny" through a unique variety of complimentary programs and initiatives.

Category: Management Programs and Creative Partnerships

The City of Deltona hired Redevelopment Management Associates (RMA) to create a Strategic Economic Development Plan for a business park and manufacturing related recruitment. An economic development approach with a real estate-based foundation was used to develop a plan for an Innovation District, Logistics and Commerce Centers on 240 acres near Central Florida's transportation corridor. RMA also helped implement the plan by attracting Deltona's Portland Industrial Park developer that brought Amazon as an anchor tenant. This development will provide 500 full-time jobs with an average annual payroll over $16 million and deliver a $100 million project to the tax base.

Category: Capital Project and Infrastructure

With a rich history beginning in 1894, Clematis Street is the most iconic street in the City of West Palm Beach. To invigorate the street and advance efforts to attract new businesses, the street was transformed with modern infrastructure improvements and vibrant design elements that improved the experience and quality of life for residents, businesses and visitors. The project began with the 300 Block as a pilot to guide the future design of the street, followed by the 100 and 200 blocks. Extensive public input led to a curbless design of the street featuring large shade trees, wider pedestrian-friendly sidewalks, and narrower travel lanes.

About RMA:

Founded in 2009 by Kim Briesemeister and Chris Brown, RMA is comprised of a phenomenal team of leading experts in economic development, real estate for governments, marketing, urban design, and financial analysis. RMA, headquartered in Pompano Beach, Florida is a highly experienced, full-service economic redevelopment consulting and management firm, specializing in revitalizing core areas and corridors for cities, counties, and special districts nationwide. Pompano Beach CRA Wins FRA Award for Atlantic Boulevard Bridge Enhancement

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. /ScoopCloud/ -- The Pompano Beach CRA is proud to announce that the Atlantic Boulevard Bridge Enhancement is the 2020 winner of the Best Transportation Transit Enhancement category at the annual Florida Redevelopment Association (FRA) Awards, which were bestowed November 19, 2020.

Focused on creating a sense of community and adding art elements to the transportation in Pompano Beach, the Pompano Beach CRA developed a bridge that would serve as a landmark, as well as offering a sense of place and destination whether traveling by land or water. This project serves multi-functional uses with its nautical themed infrastructure. Elements included in the enhancement include grand bridge entrances, repurposed pedestrian walkways and tender house facade improvements. It is now a symbolic welcome for residents and visitors.

"We are honored to have this outstanding project recognized by FRA," said Nguyen Tran, CRA Director. "And we appreciate everyone who worked with us on the beautiful transformation of this bridge including the City of Pompano Beach, Currie Sowards Aguila Architects, Burkhardt Construction and artist Dennis Friel."

One of the most stunning features of the bridge are two large sails at either end which feature a computer-operated lighting system that allows the sails to change colors for special occasions. This "sail" theme continues the style that was launched with the City's Pier Parking Garage.

About the Pompano Beach CRA:

The City of Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) was created in 1989. It has two independent districts: Northwest CRA and East CRA established by City government for the purpose of carrying out redevelopment activities that include reducing or eliminating blight, improving the economic health of an area, and encouraging public and private investments in a CRA district.

The Pompano Beach CRA is funded through Tax Increment Financing (TIF). The funds are collected as property values increase and a portion of that increase is captured by the Agency. TIF raises revenue for redevelopment efforts without raising taxes. For more information: http://www.pompanobeachfl.gov/pages/cra

About FRA:

FRA is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting Florida professionals and volunteers in community revitalization efforts. With its mission of "transforming spaces, revitalizing places," FRA is committed to providing a forum for its more than 300 members to share knowledge and common experiences regarding revitalization opportunities and issues throughout Florida.

Edupoint Selects Genesee Intermediate School District in Michigan for 5th Annual Partner for Life Award

FLINT, Mich. /ScoopCloud/ -- Edupoint® Educational Systems, creator of the industry-leading Synergy® Education Platform for K-12 student information and learning management, is pleased to announce that Sue Gilliam, former Director of Technical Services for Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD), has been selected as the recipient of the company's 2020 Partner for Life Award. Bob Weathers, Edupoint Founder and CEO, and Rob Wilson, Edupoint President and Chief Innovation Officer, recently notified Gilliam about the award by phone.

GISD is an educational leader in Genesee County, Michigan, delivering high-quality, innovative educational programs and support services to students, parents, and educators across its consortium of districts. GISD partnered with Edupoint in 2012 when the district selected Synergy as the SIS provider for its member districts.

"When we first implemented Synergy, Bob Weathers came to visit and was surprised to find a small team with many new people," Sue Gilliam said. "Typically, we would have rolled out a project this size over three years, but everyone was so excited we decided to do it all at once. I was impressed with Bob and Rob Wilson from the get-go. There was so much integrity and helpfulness. They did whatever they could do to make us successful and it was huge to have that kind of support."

The Edupoint leadership team was impressed with Sue and GISD as well. During a period of rapid growth in 2014, Edupoint recruited GISD to provide Synergy training support to some of the company's implementing districts across the U.S. In 2016, GISD became Edupoint's Synergy support provider in Tennessee. The district's Technology & Media Services team currently provides support and training services to 34 districts and charter schools in Michigan and 37 districts in Tennessee.

"Edupoint saw us doing good things and their response was to reach out and ask us to do more with them," said Luke Wittum, Assistant Superintendent of Technology and Media Services. "That partnership has helped us grow as an organization, supporting our own systems right here in Genesee County and continuing to grow our expertise, which benefits our constituents. It's been a win-win partnership."

OutcomeRx, a unit of CareMetx, announces First Independent Reinsurance Product for Rare Disease Specialty, Cell and Gene Therapies

BETHESDA, Md. /ScoopCloud/ -- OutcomeRx (ORx), a division of CareMetx, LLC, announced today a new reinsurance product to provide coverage access to high-cost specialty drugs including therapies in the emerging cell and gene therapy market(1)(2).

The Patient Access to Costly and Curative Therapies (PACCT)(3) carve-out reinsurance product initially provides first-dollar coverage for payers including PBMs, health plans and employers related to three costly therapies: Spinraza®(4) and Zolgensma®(5) for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and Luxturna®(6) for Leber Congenital Amaurosis (LCA)-an inherited retinal disorder.

By offering a first-dollar coverage reinsurance product, PACCT provides payers coverage (without deductibles) for these therapies with the goal that payers will in turn lower the cost burden on patients with SMA and LCA. The new reinsurance product will be available with a coverage effective date of January 1, 2021.

OutcomeRx has partnered with Crum & Forster Accident and Health and IronHealth, a division of Ironshore to bring the reinsurance carve-out to leading PBMs, health plans, employer groups and benefit administrators to help change how high-cost therapies, including emerging cell and gene therapies are covered and reimbursed.

"We are excited to create this innovative reinsurance product in partnership with Crum & Forster to help ensure that families and patients needing these life-changing therapies are not hindered by the cost and coverage of treatment," said Mark Hansan, President and CEO of CareMetx, LLC. "We are confident PACCT is the most comprehensive and cost-effective reinsurance product to help protect payers from the sudden financial impact of the high-cost therapies needed to treat these rare genetic conditions."

Gene therapies are among the newest pharmaceutical innovations to treat and potentially cure disease. It is estimated that by 2025, 10 to 20 new gene therapies will be approved each year(7)(8). Today, the drug cost to treat a patient with these gene therapies ranges from $850,000(9) to ~$2.1 million(10), and future cell and gene therapies are estimated to cost $2-3 million(11).

Gary Nidds, Senior Vice President and head of Crum & Forster's Medical Business Unit, said "Our support for this program continues our tradition as an innovator in the accident and health insurance space. We are excited to sit at the cutting edge of coverage solutions for therapies that could, and likely would, otherwise be unattainable for those most in need."

Added Lainie Dorneker, President of IronHealth, a division of Ironshore, "We are excited about this opportunity to provide a much-needed solution to employers and patients and to partner with OutcomeRx and Crum & Forster in the pursuit of achieving positive outcomes and driving patient access."

"We invite all payers to sign up for PACCT as we have developed it as a carve out product available to all payers that purchase reinsurance, regardless of insurer affiliation, to help patients and their families have streamlined access to innovative SMA therapies," said Brooks Wildasin, Associate Vice President of Strategy for OutcomeRx. "The PACCT solution covers multiple therapies in the SMA disease state to ensure that most treatment journey scenarios are addressed, such as a need for both Spinraza and Zolgensma. Coverage will include a per patient per therapy cost limit for the two SMA therapies as well as for Luxturna and be available on a Per Member Per Month (PMPM) basis. We believe all types of payers can benefit from PACCT including health plans of all sizes, reinsurers, commercial group plans, and even state Medicaid plans that require financial risk containment."

Hansan added "Our team at CareMetx has been working for ten years with pharmaceutical and biotechnology manufacturers to help patients access and afford specialty therapies. Our division, OutcomeRx is creating the next generation of affordability solutions including insurance and financial products that are supported by both payers and manufacturers. We are really proud to launch PACCT and we look forward to expanding to other rare diseases that have high cost therapies, such as CAR-Ts and traditional specialty drugs."

For more information on the PACCT reinsurance product please contact Brooks Wildasin at admin@outcomerx.com.

Johns Manville in Richmond, Virginia Receives its Second ‘Star’ Designation Under the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry’s Voluntary Protection Program

RICHMOND, Va. /ScoopCloud/ -- Commissioner C. Ray Davenport announced today that Johns Manville in Richmond, Virginia has been approved as a STAR Worksite under Virginia's Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH) Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), the program's highest level of recognition. The facility was honored with their first Certificate of Recognition issued on January 21, 2015.

"This outstanding achievement in occupational safety and health has come through the dedication and hard work of Johns Manville management and employees", said Commissioner Davenport. "I commend the Johns Manville facility in Richmond, Virginia, for embracing the cooperative spirit of VPP, and congratulate them on their hard-earned recertification as a Virginia STAR Worksite."

The Johns Manville commitment to providing a safe and healthy workplace for its employees is demonstrated by its very low injury and illness rates. The facility has a total three-year average for the TCIR (Total Case Incident Rate for injuries and illnesses) of 2.3 compared with a Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) national rate of 3.0 for this industry, representing a TCIR rate 23% lower than the national average for the industry.

As part of the recognition for achieving STAR status under VPP, the worksite is entitled to fly the VPP "STAR Worksite" flag. The Richmond site is the only Johns Manville VPP STAR site in Virginia and currently one of nine sites in the United States. VPP includes two levels of participation, Merit and STAR, with STAR being the highest. Similar voluntary protection programs are conducted in other states across the country.

The process for reaching STAR status is extensive to ensure that only the very best programs qualify. Since the inception of Virginia's VPP in 1996, only 72 STAR worksites have been recognized, and only 35 Virginia companies currently retain the STAR/MERIT designation. Johns Manville has set a standard of excellence that is second to none.

In Virginia VPP, a cooperative relationship is formed between the VOSH program, the employer, and employees which include the agreement of company leaders to operate exceptional safety and health management systems that meet a rigorous set of occupational safety and health criteria. Employers agree to voluntarily participate in the program and to directly involve employees in all aspects of the company's safety and health management systems. Requirements include an extensive application process, submission of written safety and health policies and procedures, demonstration of successful implementation of those programs through injury and illness rates that are below the national average for the employer's industry, and an intensive weeklong inspection by a team of VPP experts.

Businesses that participate in VPP substantially improve safety and health protection for thousands of Virginia employees through cooperative efforts to reduce injuries, illnesses, and fatal accidents. VPP STAR sites regularly report decreased bottom line costs associated with dramatically reduced injury and illness rates (an average of over 50% below the respective industry average), and improved productivity, and employee morale. Reducing private sector employer costs associated with injuries, illnesses, and fatal accidents enhances a company's

economic viability and competitiveness, and increases available capital for reinvestment, expansion, and new hiring.

DOLI operates six recognition programs. These include:

- Virginia STAR is a cooperative relationship between the VOSH program, the employer, and the employees that include the agreement of company leaders to operate exceptional safety and health management systems that meet a rigorous set of occupational safety and health criteria.

- Virginia BEST (Building Excellence in Safety, Health and Training) is a strategic partnership between the DOLI and the Associated General Contractors of Virginia (AGCVA) that recognizes AGCVA members who voluntarily implement highly effective safety and health management systems to benefit construction workers and reduce or eliminate injuries, illnesses, and fatalities on construction sites in Virginia.

- Virginia BUILT is a new strategic partnership between the DOLI and the Associated Builders and Contractors of Virginia (ABCVA) and is designed to encourage and recognize ABC-VA members who voluntarily implement highly effective safety and health management systems to benefit construction workers and reduce or eliminate injuries, illnesses, and fatalities on construction sites in Virginia. The program incorporates the ABC STEP program (Safety Training Evaluation Process) as the gateway to participation.

- Virginia CHALLENGE is a formal three stage recognition program that dramatically improves safety and health at the worksite and prepares the company to apply for Virginia STAR recognition.

- VOSH-VADOC CHALLENGE is a strategic partnership between the DOLI and the Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) to recognize safety and health excellence at correctional facilities around the Commonwealth. Three stages of participation in VADOC Challenge prepare a site to apply for Virginia STAR recognition. Virginia has the only two correctional facilities in the nation to have received VPP STAR status, Augusta and Lunenburg Correctional Centers. For additional information contact the DOLI office closest to you at www.doli.virginia.gov or Milford Stern, VPP Manager, at (540) 562-3580, ext. 123, or Milford.Stern@doli.virginia.gov.

- The Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) recognizes businesses of 250 employees or fewer and is administered by the DOLI Consultative Services Division.

These services helps employers identify and correct potential safety and health hazards by conducting walk-through surveys (without citations or penalties), abatement advice, on-site training, and program assistance to develop safety and health programs. For additional information contact the DOLI office closest to you at https://www.doli.virginia.gov/about/doli-offices-statewide/ or by contacting Tracy Michaud

The Virginia Occupational Safety and Health (VOSH) program is financed in part by a grant from the U. S.

The Virginia On-Site Consultation Cooperative Agreement program is financed in part by a grant from the U. S. Polovolo Launches the First Sport-Specific Digital Platform for Water Polo Recruiting

PITTSBURGH, Pa. /ScoopCloud/ -- High school water polo athletes looking to continue their playing careers in college have a new resource available to showcase their accomplishments and connect with college coaches. Polovolo is a digital platform designed for the unique needs of high school water polo athletes, their parents and the collegiate water polo coaching community.

Polovolo is exclusively focused on water polo and the Polovolo founders have incorporated their decades-long domain expertise to create an experience and functionality unique to the sport.

"Polovolo was created by water polo people, for water polo people," says Jim Staresinic, Founding Partner. "Our sport has its own vernacular and we feel that adding value to the recruiting process must start with strong knowledge of those you are hoping to benefit."

Staresinic adds, "For example, we saw two big recruiting needs for water polo athletes over the years. No matter their location water polo players need ways to be seen or noticed by college coaches. Also, the athlete and their parents need help to open lines of communication with those coaches. Polovolo is uniquely positioned to be part of the recruiting journey for thousands of water polo athletes and every college program."

The Polovolo platform is immediately available to high school players and provides a doorway to varsity water polo programs and their coaches. With Polovolo, the athlete can build a personalized dynamic profile, share video, provide details on academics and extracurricular achievements, highlight their accolades through verified badges, find colleges which fit their goals and use the unique social-media functions in the platform to create connections and communicate with coaches. Every DI, DII and DIII varsity program is listed on Polovolo.

Polovolo is a part of a successful recruiting experience. There are many great water polo showcases, clinics, club events and tournaments which athletes can take advantage and Polovolo works in a complimentary way with these things by connecting them all into a well-organized athlete story of activity, progression and accomplishment - at both the personal and athletic levels.

Polovolo also provides a solution to college coaches who need sport-specific information about the prospective student athletes delivered efficiently. Polovolo allows coaches to find, evaluate, validate and communicate with athletes who are a good match for their program. It also takes much of the guesswork out of evaluating an athlete since Polovolo focuses on verifiable information. A unique athlete badge feature showcases high-level achievements in the sport. Badges are activated by Polovolo staff only after verification of the information submitted by the athlete. Access to Polovolo by coaches is free.

Polovolo is the right solution at the right time for the water polo community. With the recent challenges holding tournaments and college site visits due to covid-19 restrictions, Polovolo provides an immediate solution to athletes who want to share their accomplishments with coaches and find the right college program.

Atlanta Nonprofit and Piedmont Healthcare Raise Awareness for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

ATLANTA, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- November, recognized as Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, is an important time of year for Atlanta nonprofit Purple Pansies to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer, celebrate survivors and honor loved ones.

Pancreatic cancer is currently the fourth leading cause of cancer-related death in the U.S., yet only receives 6% of research funding. In comparison, the survival rates in prostate, breast and skin cancers are now over 90%, but a person diagnosed with pancreatic cancer has less than 10% chance of survival and this can be directly attributed to investment in medical research.

While the disease has received more attention recently due to many prominent individuals who have died as a result of pancreatic cancer including "JEOPARDY!" host Alex Trebek, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Rep. John Lewis, an increase in public awareness and research funding remain critical.

"Pancreas cancer is one of the most challenging cancers to detect and treat," said Andrew Page, M.D., director of surgical oncology and HPB surgery at Piedmont Healthcare. "Unfortunately, most patients with pancreas cancer already have cancer that has spread outside of the pancreas, making a cure uniquely challenging. At Piedmont, we seek to change this with a novel patient-centered approach. With hope and a plan, Piedmont can help patients and families overcome pancreas cancer."

Nonprofits like Purple Pansies are working with hospitals like Piedmont's and other research programs in hopes of ending pancreatic cancer. Last year, Piedmont was nationally recognized as an approved center for pancreas cancer care by the National Pancreas Foundation (NPF). NPF Centers are awarded after a rigorous audit review to determine that an institution's focus is on multidisciplinary treatment of pancreatic cancer, treating the "whole patient" with a focus on the best possible outcomes and an improved quality of life. Piedmont is the only NPF recognized center for pancreas cancer care in the state.

To learn more about Purple Pansies and how you can help end pancreatic cancer, including on World Pancreatic Cancer Day (Nov. 19), visit http://www.purplepansies.org/ and follow on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Because of these loopholes, abuse of incapacitated children and adolescents occur daily.

Shane and Cheryl Halajko, who live in Seekonk, have experienced this firsthand. Their child Shawnie is autistic. Their harrowing story of finding a safe and nurturing environment for their son to live his life without fear of abuse and mistreatment is mind blowing. Elected and appointed officials for years opposed them at almost every turn. Mired in bureaucracy and lack of knowledge, politicians pushed Shawnie into some very dangerous and life-threatening situations. Unfortunately, their experience is like thousands of other families throughout Massachusetts and the United States.

Bill H.132 (Shawnie Bill) addresses simple but effective changes to the law in Massachusetts. We will present the bill early next year. We hope that our local radio stations and journalists will help support the cause and tell the story. This bill will make a real and measurable impact on the lives of so many families around us. Please help us get the word out.

State Representative, Steven Howitt (R), Bristol County, and Shane Halajko are available for interviews. They will discuss the bill and Shawnie's experience in detail. This is a non-partisan issue, and we gratefully accept the help of all.

Resources which can be found on our website, https://teamshawniegroup.com/ include: a copy of the bill in its entirety -- short YouTube explainer video -- link to grassroots petition with over 3,000 signatures -- six-part podcast series.

Long Island Based National Facility Service Firms Announce Fourth Annual ‘Food Drive’ Now A ‘Thankful Event’

MEDFORD, N.Y. /ScoopCloud/ -- Professional Retail Services (PRS), Retail Security Services (RSS), and Retail Mechanical Services (RMS) are affiliated national facility service companies based in Long Island. The three entities have teamed up for the fourth year in a row to honor their tradition of giving back to the community.

This year, in place of a traditional food drive where employees, friends, and family donate food items; the three affiliated companies decided to fund the event's donations and rename the "Food Drive" to a "Thankful Event."

The food items packaged as meal kits will feed 600 Suffolk residents this holiday season. The kits will be donated and delivered to the William Floyd School District and HELP Suffolk on November 23rd for disbursement. Each meal kit includes two boxes of stuffing, two boxes of mashed potatoes, two desserts, four cans of vegetables, one can of cranberry sauce, two boxes of corn muffins, two packets of gravy, and one 8 - 12 lb. frozen turkey.

Kathleen Larmour, president and founder of all three companies, had this to say regarding the beloved event:

"We have many reasons to be thankful, and what better way to celebrate that than to rename our event while keeping our yearly tradition of helping those in need.

"Many have endured financial hardship due to the pandemic, which is why we decided that funding this event and not having friends and family donate was appropriate."

Larmour added, "This year we are extremely thankful for our loyal employees, customers, and service partners. This would not have been possible without them."

Finesse Gods Clothing Company: New Streetwear Brand Launches Black Friday

DETROIT, Mich. /ScoopCloud/ -- The entrepreneurs behind a new clothing company wanted to go big at the end of a landmark year by launching their new streetwear brand on one of the world's biggest shopping days. Finesse Gods Clothing Company will introduce their new line of Finesse Empowerment Collection edgy and bundled winter gear designs on Black Friday, which falls on Friday, November 27 this year.

With their 2020 Black Friday launch, Finesse Gods will run giveaways throughout the day for subscribers and customers as a way to show appreciation for their support.

The Michigan-based clothing company's introductory collection is "Finesse On Ice." The line features a variety of jackets and hats for men and boys.

Finesse Gods Clothing Company's founders Serae Combs and Eugene Reid wanted to create a new streetwear brand drawing inspiration from the 2020 uprising against systemic oppression and inequality experienced by communities across America.

"Exploring your highest nature and owning what you find, paves your path to being the greatest version of yourself," Combs said. "To finesse in this world is a craft to align the elements around you to give yourself the life you deserve. To see yourself in the light of a God or Goddess, you are claiming your stance in the universe.

"To be a 'Finesse God,' you apply a limitless effort to mold the opportunities around you to conquer your dreams. As fashion is an instant language, your style is an amour to survive everyday reality."

Combs added, "WE ARE Finesse Gods. Our rich brand of men's and boys' fashion won't go unnoticed."

Over the last several months, the Finesse Gods brand has been building momentum on social media as more top influencers embrace the company's cutting-edge t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and other apparel.

Combs and Reid hope their Black Friday push will provide an exciting way for streetwear fans to embrace their growing brand.

"We are excited to get the word out about what we stand for while fitting people with fresh FG merch they can be proud to wear as an emblem of strength and optimism after a hard year," Combs said. "Our launch represents new beginnings for everyone in 2021 and beyond. We can't wait to lead the way to our new era of hope."
