LBA Ware Publishes Findings of Top-10 Lender’s Compensation Automation Cost-Benefit Analysis

MACON, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- LBA Ware(TM), a leading provider of incentive compensation management (ICM) and business intelligence software solutions for the mortgage industry, today released the findings of a cost-benefit analysis quantifying one mortgage lender's expected return on investment after implementing CompenSafe(TM).

Built for the mortgage industry, CompenSafe is an automated ICM platform that bridges the gap between lenders' loan origination and payroll systems to eliminate manual data entry and provide actionable insight into staff performance and profitability.

Conducted by a top-10 U.S. mortgage lender, the comprehensive ROI analysis spanned five phases: (1) quantifying the company's current costs related to managing incentive compensation; (2) identifying opportunities for process improvement; (3) defining system requirements for compensation automation; (4) weighing the pros and cons of building an in-house solution against available off-the-shelf software; and (5) estimating the cost savings provided by the chosen solution, CompenSafe(TM).

The lender found it was spending $346,000 a year in labor costs directly attributable to the manual calculation of incentive compensation. In addition, the compensation team was spending untold hours each month answering employee questions, setting up new plans and preparing payroll files. The lender also estimated it was spending between $500,000 to $1 million per year in overpayments caused by manual errors in calculating incentive compensation. According to the lender's analysis, implementing CompenSafe will allow it to recoup an estimated $900,000 in annualized savings by automating manual tasks, eliminating redundant processes and reducing overpayments.

The full case study is available for download here.

New Touchless Hot Desk and Meeting Room Management Version Helps Better Workplace Safety for the Post-Pandemic Return to Work

NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. /ScoopCloud/ -- To meet the changing work dynamic brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, ResourceXpress Inc. has announced a major upgrade to its flagship ResourceXpress Workspace and Conference Room booking solution to enable touchless booking, social distancing and support for safety restrictions in office hot desk or hoteling workspaces and conference rooms.

The pandemic has created pressure to implement socially-distanced office workspace and meeting room environments, reducing the density and capacity of existing real-estate and requiring organizations to better utilize the space they have. In many cases, employees will no longer have permanent desks, they will book hot desk usage for when they are in the office location.

Gartner Group suggests nearly three in four CFOs plan to shift at least 5% of previously on-site employees to remote positions. Similarly, a recent Osterman Research publication reported over 50% of organizations will increase their work-from-home policies.

Touchless Devices and Mobile First for Safety

To address the new office environment, Version 5 of ResourceXpress introduces hands free use of its Aura LED meeting room screens and QUBI3 desk screens to the workspace. This leverages built-in RFID technology to touchlessly read security badges to book, check-in and extend the use of a workspace.

Additionally, a QR code can be embedded into a meeting room screen display so the employee can use their mobile phone to scan the QR code and book the space directly from their phone. The kiosk capability of ResourceXpress allows a user to use their mobile device or a regularly sanitized touch-screen kiosk to view a floorplan map showing room and hot desk availability and out-of-service status.

Social Distancing and Safety Restrictions

ResourceXpress V5 introduces an automatic cleandown extension to a booking to allow cleaning staff to decontaminate a workspace before the next person uses it.

The new "ringfencing" feature restricts contiguous workspace usage, so if an employee books a space, the related workspaces are automatically put into an "out-of-service" color-coded status so they cannot be booked.

And by capturing data about when employees book hot desks and attend meetings, ResourceXpress can assist in contact tracing procedures.

ResourceXpress' Broadcast feature allows room screens to display policy reminders to employees on the use of workspaces.

ResourceXpress integrates with most enterprise calendaring and workplace management systems including Office365, Google, Accruent (EMS) and FM:Systems (Resource Scheduler). It can be installed in a SaaS cloud environment or in the customer's data center.

V5 of ResourceXpress will be available in June 2020.

Clive Horton, CEO of ReSoft International in New York City, the master reseller for ResourceXpress in North America, comments "The pandemic is bringing about enormous change to work practices and technologies like ResourceXpress will help in providing a safe, secure environment for employees".

Andy Fisher, Business Development Manager for ResourceXpress Inc. adds "We have listened closely to our customers and are committed to introducing a range of additional features which reflect new ways of working to ensure the workplace is a safer place."

Global DMS offers unique Compliance Guarantee Program for EVO Appraisal Management Software

LANSDALE, Pa. /ScoopCloud/ -- Global DMS, a leading provider of cloud-based appraisal management software, announced that it has launched a new Compliance Guarantee Program for those that utilize its EVO-Res appraisal management platform, which covers all fines in the event that a client is found out of compliance, but is using the software's Best Practice Configuration.

Those that utilize EVO-Res(TM) to manage their valuation operations will be protected by Global DMS' Compliance Guarantee Program as it pertains to Appraisal Independence Requirements, appraiser licensing, borrow receipt of the appraisal, and report and delivery to both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

Global DMS' new program allows institutions concerned with appraisal compliance to effectively remove appraisal risk from the equation, while ensuring they comply with Dodd-Frank's Section 1471, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act's (ECOA) Regulation B, the Truth In Lending Act's (TILA) Regulation Z, the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), and both the GSEs and FHA's seller guides.

All EVO-Res users will be eligible for this new program, provided they're following Global DMS' Best Practice Configuration within the system, which promotes appraisal compliance through automation - such as automated license validation, vendor assignment, appraisal reviews, UCDP and EAD submissions, and more.

Implementing an automated valuation process through the use of status-driven triggers ensures compliance by eliminating manual touch-points that lead to human error and oversight. With EVO-Res, this automation not only covers the entire process, it's 100% configurable - allowing lenders and AMCs to customize and run their specific workflows as needed, no development intervention required.

"The appraisal industry is always in flux, and it's imperative for all participants to quickly adapt to the drastic changes introduced by federal regulation, state legislation, public policy, and lending guidelines," said Global DMS(R) COO, Jody Collup. "The key to being compliant and efficient is having an all-encompassing platform that supports dynamic change, as well as an intuitive interface that doesn't require expensive, time-consuming custom development work."

For more information on EVO-Res' Compliance Guarantee Program, contact Global DMS at evoinfo@globaldms.com or 877-866-2747 (option 2).

ARMCO Expands Integrated Third-Party Vendor Offerings Within ACES Audit Technology

DENVER, Colo. /ScoopCloud/ -- ACES Risk Management (ARMCO), the leading provider of enterprise quality management and control software for the lending industry, announced several major enhancements to its ACES Audit Technology platform to aid lenders' loan defect categorization and post-closing quality control efforts.

"Loan quality is a moving target, and to ensure our clients are always hitting the mark, ARMCO is continually refining ACES as users' needs and regulatory directives change," ARMCO CEO Trevor Gauthier said. "This recent slate of system updates is further evidence of our commitment to customer satisfaction, user choice and industry partnerships with best-of-breed providers that support our clients' loan quality initiatives."

Included in the enhancements are additions to the suite of integrated third-party verification providers available within ACES. Users can now order, track and receive credit reports from Data Facts and field reviews from Service1st without leaving the ACES system, which streamlines the quality control audit process and eliminates the unnecessary, time-consuming and error-prone task of rekeying data.

"Data Facts is hyper-focused on helping lenders address fraud and compliance, which makes our partnership with ARMCO such a natural fit," said Lisa May, senior vice president of strategic solutions at Data Facts. "Not only is this integration a win-win for our mutual customers, but it also provides all ACES users with a choice for credit reporting services, and we look forward to delivering to ACES users the same high-touch, high-level customer service that our existing clients have come to expect from Data Facts."

"Many appraisal management companies list appraisal reviews as product offerings, but, in reality, this often takes a back seat to their main business of origination appraisals. That is not the case for Service 1st," said Joe Chappell, executive vice president and business leader for partner integrations at Covius, which owns Service1st. "We have a 25-year track-record of providing appraisal reviews to the QC community and are known for our service, the quality of our valuations, our commitment to communications and our competitive pricing. Our integration with ARMCO brings together two of the industry's leading QC service providers to accelerate the overall appraisal review process, create greater efficiencies for our joint clients and reduce the risk of human error."

In addition to expanding users' options for third-party verification providers, ARMCO also announced its updates to the loan defect taxonomies for Fannie Mae and FHA included within ACES. These updates reflect the changes announced by Fannie Mae in late Q3 2019 and FHA in early Q1 2020 and were made available to ACES users in December 2019 and January 2020, respectively.

"The loan defect taxonomies established by Fannie Mae and FHA enable lenders to standardize their categorization of loan defects, which, in turn, helps facilitate historical trending and benchmarking activities so that lenders have a more fulsome understanding of their loan quality both over time and as compared to their peers," said Gauthier. "As a best practice, the ACES software is updated immediately with these changes to ensure our clients are compliant and utilizing the latest standard from their prudential regulators to effectively manage their loan quality and risk."

SimpleNexus advances initial release of Closing Portal to help lenders meet urgent consumer demand for mobile mortgage closing solutions

LEHI, Utah /ScoopCloud/ -- SimpleNexus (https://simplenexus.com/), developer of the leading digital mortgage platform for loan officers, borrowers and real estate agents, today announced the release of the SimpleNexus Closing Portal, a new feature that enables lenders to securely collaborate with settlement service providers for streamlined closing package delivery and will pave the way for hybrid mortgage closings.

With SimpleNexus Disclosures, introduced last year, lenders can distribute individual closing packages to settlement partners for online retrieval. The new SimpleNexus Closing Portal gives settlement service providers access to all their SimpleNexus closing packages in a personal dashboard secured with multi-factor authentication. While both solutions offer push notifications and real-time tracking that integrates seamlessly with the lender's loan origination system, only the SimpleNexus Closing Portal will enable mortgage closing teams to conduct hybrid closings that keep physical closing appointments to a minimum.

In a hybrid closing, borrowers electronically sign (eSign) home loan documents that do not require notarization before meeting with a settlement agent or notary to finalize the closing. As a result, the closing appointment involves signing only a handful of documents and takes only a few minutes instead of an hour or more.

"Consumer demand for options that minimize how much of the mortgage transaction is done face-to-face has never been greater. To help lenders meet that demand, we have advanced the initial release of our highly anticipated SimpleNexus Closing Portal," said SimpleNexus Senior Product Manager Tyler Prows. "With today's release, lenders can prepare to fulfill hybrid closings within the SimpleNexus experience borrowers and originators know and love."

Additional features, including document markup and real-time chat between mortgage closing teams and settlement service providers, will be made available in a future release of the SimpleNexus Closing Portal.

Since the February 2019 introduction of SimpleNexus Disclosures, more and more lenders have come to rely on SimpleNexus to deliver digital mortgage disclosures that borrowers and loan originators can eSign via mobile app or web dashboard. In April 2020 alone, SimpleNexus delivered more than 114,000 digital disclosures packages, and that figure continues to grow as borrowers and lenders embrace mobile mortgage solutions.

About SimpleNexus, LLC:

SimpleNexus is the digital mortgage platform that enables lenders to originate and process loans from anywhere. The company's best-in-class, easy-to-use app connects loan officers to their borrowers and real estate agents to easily communicate and exchange data in a single location throughout the entire loan life cycle. Loan officers can manage their loan pipelines, order credit, run pricing, send pre-approvals and sign disclosures - all on the go.

ARMCO Launches ACESXPRESS for Early Payment Defaults

DENVER, Colo. /ScoopCloud/ -- ACES Risk Management (ARMCO), the leading provider of enterprise quality management and control software for the lending industry, announced the release of ACESXPRESS(TM) for Early Payment Defaults (EPDs) to bolster lenders' existing audit programs in light of the recent increases in required monthly EPD audit volume.

"With unemployment figures on the rise due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the industry is bracing itself for a sharp increase in the number of EPDs on recently originated loans. Furthermore, EPDs are one of the strongest indicators of possible mortgage fraud, the likelihood of which also increases as borrowers feel a greater sense of urgency to secure financing for their home purchase," ARMCO CEO Trevor Gauthier said. "ACESXPRESS for EPDs provides a turnkey platform for managing sudden volume spikes in EPD audits while maintaining compliance with audit requirements. Because the system can be implemented within a week, ACESXPRESS for EPDs also minimizes the burden typically placed on existing staff when onboarding a new system, thus enabling lenders to begin realizing its benefits sooner."

Originally launched in 2016, ACESXPRESS delivers the power of the ACES Audit Technology(TM) platform in an easy-to-implement format for small and mid-sized lenders. Recognizing the need for a similar platform designed specifically for EPD audits, ARMCO refined the functionality of ACESXPRESS to deliver needed EPD audit support with a streamlined implementation timeframe. ACESXPRESS for EPDs includes:

* Minimal setup requirements and the ability to configure within a week;
* Full product support from ARMCO;
* Pre-configured audits, including ACES IQ for conducting EPD reviews; and
* A library of standard report templates.

"Responsiveness is key to managing loan quality," said Gauthier. "As economic and market conditions change, ARMCO is committed to delivering technology that supports lenders' audit needs and helps mitigate lending risk."

About ARMCO

Global DMS Integrates eTrac Valuation Management Software with ProxyPics, Allowing Clients to Complete Real Estate Appraisals Remotely

LANSDALE, Pa. /ScoopCloud/ -- Global DMS, a leading provider of cloud-based appraisal management software, announced that it has integrated its eTrac valuation management platform with ProxyPics - a patented, secure mobile app that provides a method of facilitating the delivery of photographs of a subject property when access to the property is unavailable.

Through this integration, lenders, AMCs, and appraisers who utilize eTrac(R) can automatically request and receive high quality pictures of both the interior and exterior of a subject property directly from the homeowner, providing them with an immediate solution for completing their real estate appraisals remotely and within social distancing guidelines.

"Our goal for this integration is to help promote business as usual during these very unusual times," said Global DMS(R) COO, Jody Collup. "With eTrac and ProxyPics, our clients can do just that - providing timely, cost-effective, and accurate values for all loan types without ever leaving their desk."

The entire process is automated, secure, protects against fraud, and requires no additional work or oversight from those using eTrac - who never have to leave the platform. It's also simple for homeowners, who utilize the ProxyPics mobile app to easily take the required photos, answer pre-set questions about the quality, condition, and unique characteristics of their home, and submit the information back to eTrac.

Not only does this promote safe social distancing, it ensures eTrac users have the vital information they need for completing accurate valuations that are in full compliance with the temporary appraisal guidelines that were recently enacted by the GSEs and others in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

"As COVID-19 continues to prohibit in-person interactions, the use of innovative technologies has become critical in many lines of business, including real estate appraisals," said Luke Tomaszewski, CEO of ProxyPics. "eTrac and ProxyPics provides lenders, AMCs, and appraisers with this innovative technology, allowing them to collect the necessary photos and property information directly from the homeowner without setting foot on the property."

Though it was developed in direct response to COVID-19 and its many restrictions, eTrac's integration with ProxyPics will continue to serve Global DMS' clientele into the future by providing a simple method for securing the primary photos of a subject property as quickly as possible - helping to streamline their appraisal process and decrease turn-times.

Certain Lending Launches Major Survey of Real Estate Investors

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- Certain Lending released a national survey of real estate investors. A majority of real estate investors expect COVID-19 will cause home prices to decline up to 20%.

The survey of 569 real estate investors across the U.S., conducted between April 20 and 24, is the first of its kind to report how real estate investors believe COVID-19 will impact the U.S. economy, housing markets, and mortgage credit. The full survey is available at https://medium.com/certainlending.

"Non-institutional real estate investors own and make a living from $7 trillion of real estate. They are an untapped source of insight about how events and forces shape the U.S. economy and housing market," said Shreyas Vijaykumar, cofounder and chief technology officer for Certain Lending. "We are excited to engage the community and report insightful findings about COVID-19's expected impacts."

The survey finds that relative to the 2009 recession, known as the U.S. housing crisis, half of real estate investors believe the impact of COVID-19 will be more severe for the U.S. national economy. Three quarters of real estate investors expect COVID-19 will cause home prices to decline, but the magnitude will be less severe than during the U.S. housing crisis. A majority expect home prices will decline up to 20% because of COVID-19.

According to the survey, approximately half of real estate investors expect it will be a good time to buy properties over the next six months with about as many planning to increase their personal investment in real estate over the time period. 90% of real estate investors believe the U.S. economy will rebound within 18 months.

With the weak economy and real estate cooling, a majority of real estate investors expect supply to increase across online realtor listings, off market channels, short sales, foreclosures, and distressed-property auction websites.

The survey finds 38% of real estate investors think it will be harder to get a loan, and 32% don't know if financing will be easier or harder in the next six months.

Added Charles McKinney, cofounder and chief executive officer of Certain, "With anxiety about the economy, freezing of the capital markets, and many commercial lenders pulling back, traditional ways of getting a loan has become more expensive and less likely. For lenders with the credit sophistication and software to efficiently underwrite and originate loans in the COVID-19 economy, there's a huge opportunity to consolidate market share."

About Certain Lending:

Certain Lending is a FinTech startup cofounded by Freddie Mac and Palantir Technologies alumni and backed by Founders Fund, 8VC, Goldcrest, XYZ, Village Global, and the LeFrak organization. With Certain Lending, real estate investors get tailored financing offers in one place and close loans in days, not weeks. For financial institutions, Certain creates favorable yield from business purpose mortgages fully underwritten, originated, and monitored by our software.

Technology Breaks the Distance Learning Barrier for Disabled Students

MIAMI, Fla. /ScoopCloud/ -- Today Pneuma Solutions launched a free service that redefines the way students with special needs are provided instructional materials. Based on Pneuma's Augmented Document Remediation technology, Scribe for Education allows teachers in K-12 to upload image files to a secure cloud service that provides near real time conversion to a variety of text and audio formats like Braille, large print, and MP3 for use by disabled students. The service fills an essential gap as school districts flip from traditional classrooms to distance learning programs.

"Students with disabilities have trouble accessing printed school materials in a timely manner under the best of circumstances," says Mike Calvo, founder and CEO of Pneuma Solutions. "With so many of us teaching from home during the pandemic, technologies that convert documents into special formats need to be available with no need for complicated training. I want to use our technology in a way that ensures students with disabilities are not left behind no matter who is educating them."

Themselves blind individuals and trainers of the print impaired, Calvo and lead developer, Matt Campbell, understand the challenges teachers face in accommodating students with disabilities. Under this initiative, teachers and parents can trust the strength of the company's commercial product to help students with special needs keep pace in a way that is free, reliable, and intuitive using nothing more than a web browser.

"To the average person, access to the printed word is taken for granted," says Campbell. "By providing teachers direct access to our cloud-based tools, specially formatted materials can be reproduced, by the teacher or parent, for disabled students at the same time as their nondisabled peers. Scribe for Education can redefine the way they learn."

About Pneuma Solutions

Pneuma Solutions provides access to information for consumers with print disabilities. Using machine learning to render quality results, Pneuma Solutions delivers a package that is affordable and intuitive. Robert Farah

I had two HDD in RAW format and after I purchased the software it was easy to install as well as easy to recover all of my lost data. Great product and highly recommended to anyone who lost their data.

Akmam Nm

I was really worried about my files because I took a lot of effort to shoot those videos and while I was moving the files after moving them it just got deleted from my drive and I felt heartbroken with the help of recovery, I got all my files back a real lifesaver.

Chile

Literally saved 3years of work. My son accidentally deleted all my files on USB. Thank God I was able to recover most of it. The drawback, however, is that I had to rebuild the file tree hierarchy that was originally on the USB.

ARMCO Launches ACES Consumer™ Quality Management Platform for Financial Institutions

DENVER, Colo. /ScoopCloud/ -- ACES Risk Management (ARMCO), the leading provider of enterprise quality management and control software for the lending industry, announced the official release of ACES Consumer, the next iteration of its ACES Audit Technology(TM) platform designed specifically for financial institutions. The new solution provides both consumer banks and credit unions with a single platform to improve loan quality and gain valuable insights across all consumer lending channels.

"Traditionally, financial institutions have taken a siloed approach to quality control in lending. As a result, organizations may have a different process or platform for managing loan quality in each of their consumer product lines, thereby duplicating efforts and increasing the cost to comply," ARMCO CEO Trevor Gauthier said. "As the leader in quality control audit software for the mortgage industry, ARMCO has amassed a wealth of knowledge on best practices for managing QC and compliance, which we have leveraged in the development of ACES Consumer to provide all financial institutions with a single platform capable of ensuring loan quality and mitigating risk across their entire enterprise."

ACES Consumer is a web-based, user-definable platform that enables financial institutions to easily configure audits across their entire consumer lending portfolio to help reduce audit times by up to 40% and eliminate manual processes. Backed by a dedicated Client Success team, the platform includes automated loan sampling functionality, advanced reporting and dashboarding capabilities and a secure communication portal to streamline the quality control process.

ACES Consumer also uses pre-built questionnaires to ensure compliance with federal consumer regulations covering, but not limited to:
* Consumer direct and indirect lending;
* Truth in Lending Act (TILA);
* Loan applications;
* Branch audits;
* New deposit open end credit;
* Consumer loan servicing;
* Consumer leasing;
* Marketing; and
* Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

"Many financial institutions have been forced to rely on spreadsheets, email and manual processes to power their quality control audits. As organizations grow, these methods quickly become inadequate to the task, which exponentially increases the number of manhours required to complete this mission-critical function. Furthermore, these methods are ill-suited to a remote work environment, as they add unneeded complexity to the process and create multiple opportunities for data to become lost or corrupted," Gauthier said.

"With ACES Consumer, financial institutions can harness the power of web-based automation to streamline the quality control process, thereby ensuring that they have a scalable process in place for managing loan quality and mitigating risk, regardless of their operational circumstances."

FormFree and Ocrolus Partner for Comprehensive Borrower Income Verification Program

ATHENS, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- FormFree(R), a leading fintech provider of credit decisioning services, today announced a partnership with Ocrolus, a leading fintech infrastructure company that transforms documents into actionable data with over 99% accuracy. FormFree's Passport(tm) all-in-one asset, employment and income verification service now includes API calls to Ocrolus for paystub and W-2 tax form collection and data verification.

Each day, Passport helps tens of thousands of loan originators assess the ability of loan applicants to repay loans. FormFree's partnership with Ocrolus enables Passport to ingest data from paystubs submitted in PDF or cell phone photo format. Passport can also pull income data directly from payroll providers with a consumer's permission.

"Income verification is a critical factor in assessing a borrower's ability to repay a loan," said FormFree CEO Brent Chandler. "Enabling lenders to corroborate images of paystubs against digital data sources allows them to make credit decisions with a high level of confidence."

As Ocrolus digitizes data from submitted paystubs and W-2 documents, Passport corroborates that data against public and proprietary sources to validate that the stated employer is a real company with whom the loan applicant has a verifiable connection. Next, the program compares the paystub data against consumer asset data to calculate annual net pay and gross income. The verified asset, income and employment data points are then instantaneously pushed to the lender systems such as point-of-sale (POS) platforms, loan origination software (LOS) and automated underwriting systems (AUS).

"We developed Ocrolus to analyze documents of any format or quality with over 99% accuracy," said Sam Bobley, CEO of Ocrolus. "FormFree is a leading fintech that we are proud to partner with; incorporating our capabilities within Passport provides lenders with precisely accurate data for financial decisioning."

Paystub and W-2 document submissions are currently supported and available to FormFree customers. Ocrolus and FormFree are also developing integrations for additional financial documents including bank statements.

About Ocrolus:

Ocrolus is a fintech infrastructure company that transforms documents into actionable data with over 99% accuracy. The solution includes built-in fraud detection and analytics, enabling customers to make smarter and faster business decisions with unprecedented scalability and precision.

Use cases include mortgage, small business, auto and personal loan underwriting, credit account openings and other document-intensive processes. Ocrolus has raised over $30 million in venture capital backed by Oak HC/FT, FinTech Collective, Bullpen Capital and QED Investors, among others. Visit https://www.ocrolus.com/ to learn more.

New Technology Connects Homeowners and Property Appraisers

RED DEER, Alberta /ScoopCloud/ -- Everyone has been economically impacted by COVID-19 in one way or another and property appraisers are no exception. However, Anow, an appraisal management software developer, is excited to announce the launch of Anow Walkthrough, a sophisticated, but straightforward homeowner inspection product designed to help appraisers when they can't get inside a property. It enables true "virtual tours" with multiple fraud preventions built-in and empowers appraisers to work again.

Anow simplifies the way real estate appraisers manage their businesses and was recently recognized by Housing Wire in their TECH100 list for 2020. It streamlines a wide range of everyday appraisal processes while offering unmatched business insights that help appraisers to better compete in today's digital environment.

And now, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, with global limitations on social interaction and contact, carrying out walkthroughs to appraise properties is a significant challenge. Anow's innovative solution is this complementary product: Anow Walkthrough.

"Since the pandemic started, we've only done exterior inspections and are avoiding going into all properties," Mark Matkowski, Soderquist Appraisals, says. "Anow Walkthrough has been a game-changer. It gives us everything we need to confidently do full appraisals, puts no one at risk and keeps my income up too."

Anow Walkthrough offers a step-by-step guide for homeowners and realtors to capture photos and necessary information pertaining to property interiors and exteriors. It also allows homeowners to share unique home details without needing to download an app. It's simple and convenient. Multiple rules are in place, including date, time and geolocation of photographs, plus public records and artificial intelligence validates homeowner data and photos.

For appraisers, they can collect compliant information remotely and safely, mainly because they come in contact with clients daily during inspections. Appraisers can walk a homeowner through the process, or they can do it on their own time.

"The possibilities are endless, and appraisers will continue to adopt Walkthrough, even after the COVID-19 crisis, as a value-added service," Marty Haldane, CEO, Anow, says.

Appraisal Management Companies (AMCs) and lenders are seeing many benefits too. They're already empowering their network of appraisers to keep appraising during these challenging times.

"We wanted to not just empathize with our customers, but provide a solution to this complex challenge," Haldane says. "Everyday, more restrictions are being put into place, and we want to ensure that appraisers can still appraise and make a living. Walkthrough has been used on thousands of appraisals and AMCs and lenders have also been prompted to jump on board to help their appraiser panels. The response we've received from appraisers, lenders and AMCs has been absolutely overwhelming, and it just shows how we are all in this together to help each other out. It's really great to see."

Existing Anow customers will receive a free upgrade of the Anow platform to include Anow Walkthrough. New customers will receive access to Anow Walkthrough along with a complimentary one-on-one guide on how best to use the Anow platform for their appraisal business.

iConnect Launches Remote Technology Systems for Companies to Take Employee Temperatures and to Handle Bill of Lading Process to Combat COVID-19

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. /ScoopCloud/ -- iConnect, a technology company that creates tracking systems for data collection, has developed two programs that will help mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The PIP-ILI System (Possibly Infected Person-Identify, Locate, Isolate) was created to assist companies in taking proactive and preventative measures to protect their employees, as well as the public, from COVID-19, with two products: TrackYourText and NoTouchBOL.

Both products are able to identify when a "Possibly Infected Person," (PIP) is showing symptoms of COVID-19 or has a persistent fever.

TrackYourText was developed for employers to take the temperatures of their employees from their mobile phones, collecting that information, as well as their location data, which is then displayed on a PIP-ILI map, per state, in order to track and monitor possibly infected persons. Each day, companies are able to send bulk text messages, simultaneously, to each of their employees, with a link, where they input their temperature, in addition to their location, if required by the company.

TrackYourText also returns data without the use of a GPS tracking app. While this monitoring system might be mandated by companies and considered a crucial step towards protecting their staff, employees should be informed that TrackYourText does not install any tracking tools on their phones, and they have the right to choose whether they will respond to or share their private information with this voluntary technology.

NoTouchBOL is a logistics system that prevents carriers from having direct contact with shipping personnel that are required to sign bill of ladings. NoTouchBOL also captures the location of carriers, tracks their route, monitoring if they have had direct contact with previous freights they have picked up and delivered. This information is then displayed on a PIP-ILI map, per state, tracing their exact route. The map can be used to show if an employee, from another company, who might have come into direct contact with the carrier, is diagnosed with COVID symptoms, and when and where possible infection might have occurred. Both the carrier and employee can then immediately be identified as possibly infected persons.

Technology Firm NAG, Inc. Develops a Scientific Approach to Managing the Coronavirus

CLAREMONT, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- NAG, Inc., has developed a web solution that will improve the management of coronavirus. The application will have widespread impact on restricting spread of the virus mainly due to narrowing lockdown measures to focus on specific impacted areas which account for a fraction of each jurisdiction, leaving most of the jurisdiction's citizens and economy to function normally.

The world is on lockdown, resulting in the mass incarceration of people in home confinement and completely shutting down the economy, resulting in what is likely to be a global recession. These measures are a gut reaction to panic about the virus, and not a studied decision based on real and evolving information.

These widespread global measures covering entire jurisdictions (ignoring actual pockets of infection) are extremely inefficient, wasting scarce resources and destroying the economy.

Scientific analysis starts by investigating individual cases of infection to determine the extent of actual spread, then gradually widening the net to include all areas under real threat of infection spread. Narrowing the problem to precisely those areas that need focused attention achieves the most efficient and productive allocation of resources. This avoids a diffused response over large areas that may not need any intervention at all.

Mathematical models input point data, for example geolocated cases of confirmed infection determined by RNA tests. These, along with patient contact tracing, allow us to precisely identify areas directly under threat. In the absence of widespread testing (as is the case in the U.S.), NAG conducts household surveys to broaden the scope of detection of the virus.

Implementing these procedures continuously in real time, changes in the progress of the disease can be tracked as the situation evolves over time.

Scarce resources can then be focused on solving the problem within these finite areas instead of being wasted on areas not under threat. For example, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) supplies would be more than adequate to meet the needs of hospitals located within an area under threat (colored in red, yellow, green and blue on the maps) if they are not wasted on uninfected areas. All of the uncolored areas on the map can revert back to normal, avoiding lockdown and closure of businesses. If a new case is detected, it will immediately appear as infected on the map, and can be treated accordingly. Data is updated in real time as information changes with the evolving situation.

Spice Homes Cures Real Estate Blues with Video Calls Built into Property Listings

ST. GEORGE, Utah /ScoopCloud/ -- The real estate market, with its reliance on in person contact, is struggling as a result of social distancing. To help solve this challenge, Shimmer Media LLC today announced the latest Homes edition of its Spice mobile app. Spice Homes puts owners back in touch with buyers by integrating live video calls directly into each real estate property listing.

Each listing contains a video call button, which a visitor may use to call the listing agent or owner. To ensure calls are only received when the listing owner is ready, availability is controlled by an easy-to-use calendar. Calls cannot be placed outside of the calendared times.

In addition to this on-demand calling, an agent or owner can send a private video call invitation by way of email or text message. To prevent video call hacking, the invitation can only be used by a single recipient. The invitation also includes an expiration date, after which it may not be used to place a call. The recipient places the video call to the agent or owner simply by clicking the link in the email or text message.

Spice Homes supports properties for sale and rent, as well as short-term and vacation rentals. A new listing can be created in just a few minutes using photos and video on the mobile device.

Property listings are created with a concise set of features, including price, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, square footage and amenities. Spice visitors can filter on any of these features when searching homes for sale, rent or short-term occupancy.

For short term rentals Spice Homes also provides an availability calendar. Availability can be specified up to six months in advance, and the listing owner can mark off dates as they are booked. Visitors to the listing readily see when the property is available. Short term rentals can also be filtered on the Spice Homes map by arrival and departure date.

A free Spice business starter account includes up to 5 listings. Each listing includes a video calling, a description and photo, an address with a map location, and an optional one-minute HD streaming on-demand video.

Spice Homes edition is now available for iPhones and Android devices in the Apple app store and Google Play store.

For more information, and to download the app, visit https://spice.video.

CIENCE Debuts at #31 in The Financial Times Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies 2020

SAN DIEGO, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- The Financial Times announced the inaugural listing of the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the Americas, and lead generation company CIENCE Technologies placed No. 31 out of 500 companies measured. This ranking of the fastest-growing companies signifies a unique look at the most successful companies at a perilous and unpredictable time.

In these unprecedented times where there is so much economic uncertainty, risk, and pain, the ability to generate new business is arguably more important than ever before.

"The timing is interesting here, but the biggest takeaway is that our ability to help clients grow gives us the opportunity to receive this prestigious recognition by the FT," said Eric Quanstrom, CMO of CIENCE. "Our own rapid growth is proof that our Orchestrated Outbound model works. We help our client companies grow, we grow too - it's a virtuous circle."

FT Americas Fastest 500 List

The Financial Times list was compiled with the research company Statista, and ranks entrants from across the Americas by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue between 2015 and 2018.

The companies on this list show remarkable rates of growth across all industries in the Americas. Between 2015 and 2018, these 500 private companies had a median growth rate of 250 percent.

Interestingly, CIENCE Technologies embodies both of the top two most represented sectors - Technology (25 percent) and Support Services (9 percent). The CIENCE 'Machine-Powered, Human-Driven' approach to lead generation offers the best of both worlds.

Despite the coronavirus, unemployment, and the current recessionary environment, CIENCE also continues to grow, including adding jobs and new customers.

"We continue to find opportunities for ourselves and our clients because that's what we do," said Quanstrom. "We believe that businesses will lead the recovery process out of the current cataclysm. It's our job to connect buyers and sellers... Regardless of headwinds. Continuing to grow, off the strong foundation the FT has recognized here, is key."

More about FT and the Top 500 Methodology

The FT Americas' Fastest Growing Companies 2020 is a list of the top 500 companies in the Americas that have achieved the highest growth in revenues between 2015 and 2018.

The ranking was created through a complex procedure. Although the search was very extensive, the ranking does not claim to be complete, as some companies did not want to make their figures public or did not participate for other reasons.

The project was advertised online and in print, allowing all eligible companies to register via the websites created by Statista and the Financial Times.

LANSDALE, Pa. /ScoopCloud/ -- Global DMS, a leading provider of cloud-based appraisal management software, announced that it has been selected by PROGRESS in Lending for its "Innovations Award," which recognizes companies that have come together to create something truly game-changing for the mortgage space.

As part of its selection process, PROGRESS in Lending scored each applicant's innovation on a weighted scale, looking at its overall industry significance, originality, the positive change it made possible, the intangible efficiencies it now allows, and the hard cost and time savings it enables industry participants to achieve.

Global DMS(R) was recognized for the successful development and roll-out of EVO-Res(TM) - the industry's next-generation appraisal management technology for residential lenders, AMCs, and appraisers. Unlike other platforms on the market, EVO-Res offers state-of-the-art technological advances that shatter the constraints of yesteryear software designs by allowing users to work the way they need to work.

EVO-Res was built with the end-user in mind to provide a customized experience that's roll-based, which includes separate dashboards and task lists to help drive optimal performance. Mira and the National Foundation for Cancer Research to expand COVID Care and tackle health disparities

NEW YORK, N.Y. /ScoopCloud/ -- Mira, a healthcare company based in NYC, is partnering with the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) to provide COVID Care to cancer patients and caregivers, bringing healthcare closer to those who need it the most.

NFCR is a non-profit organization, dedicated to providing scientists in the lab the research funding they need to make game-changing discoveries in cancer treatments, detection and, ultimately, a cure for all types of cancer.

Mira is a platform for individuals without insurance to get affordable copays for everyday healthcare. Mira's COVID Care program helps take the pressure off of the local health systems by allowing patients to manage symptoms at home instead of seeking testing at emergency departments.

Together, NFCR and Mira will also create a Prevention and Wellness Access Program to bring affordable healthcare to the U.S.'s uninsured and underinsured population, which totaled 60 million before the coronavirus outbreak and has been increasing rapidly due to the high unemployment rates caused by the pandemic.

Bringing Healthcare Closer to Those Who Need It The Most

According to the latest news, COVID-19 is hitting underserved communities disproportionately harder than the rest. As cases of COVID-19 rise in the United States, health systems are stretching their capacity to take in high-risk patients--creating a vacuum for those who live in zip codes with a history of health disparities.

"The National Foundation for Cancer Research has a long history of funding not only high-risk and high-impact cancer research projects to advance life-saving new diagnosis and treatment breakthroughs, we have also dedicated tremendous efforts toward public education and cancer prevention for the general public," said Sujuan Ba, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of NFCR. "Before cures are found, early prevention and healthy lifestyle choices remain the best defense against cancer."

"Using health technology innovation to help cancer patients and their loved ones access affordable healthcare options is an important public service that NFCR promotes," continued Dr. Ba.

Mira created one of the first end-to-end care delivery solutions to help individuals screen and manage symptoms at home instead of seeking testing at emergency departments. Now, Mira is partnering with the National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR) to expand its program to help one of the most at-risk populations--cancer patients and their caregivers.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mira has developed a 1-minute assessment to screen for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors, based on the guidelines and protocols as recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). It provides reliable, timely information to patients and community members. This free, easy-to-use tool is accessible 24/7, offers a symptom checker, as well as provides options for a virtual visit and information on sheltering-in-place.

Based on the results, you will have an opportunity to connect with a resource center to determine the best next steps--whether it be home care, getting a virtual consultation or getting tested. The whole process could happen in less than 5 minutes.

"NFCR is very entrepreneurial in terms of advancing innovations," stated Khang Vuong, Founder and CEO of Mira. "Working with NFCR, we will have an opportunity to help more people identify symptoms of COVID-19, stay at home and flatten the curve."

Reaching more people will ultimately lead to less cases and starving out the virus. Many people who come to Mira have recently lost their jobs and have to choose between putting food on the table or getting healthcare.

About National Foundation for Cancer Research

NFCR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides scientists in the lab the funding they need to make game-changing discoveries in cancer treatments, detection, prevention and, ultimately, a cure. NFCR has distinguished itself in the cancer research sector by emphasizing long-term, transformative research often overlooked by other major funding sources. With COVID-19 on the rise in the United States, they are looking now, more than ever, to serve those without healthcare, as well as high-risk patients. Learn more at: https://www.nfcr.org/

About Mira

Mira helps uninsured and underinsured get affordable healthcare. Besides COVID-19, members can also get affordable copays for preventive care, urgent care, mental health, lab tests, and prescriptions--services that are equally needed but inaccessible to those without insurance in this time of crisis. Remote Online Notarization Taking Hold in Florida, NotaryCam Reports

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. /ScoopCloud/ -- NotaryCam(R), the pioneering leader in online notarization and original provider of mortgage eClosing solutions, announced it has observed a significant increase in remote online notarization (RON) adoption and utilization for real estate transactions in Florida over the past three months. Since January 1, which is the date Florida's RON law went into effect, the company has experienced a 100% month-over-month increase in RON closings.

"With such a high concentration of property transactions being executed by out-of-state residents, Florida represents a great use case for RON," said NotaryCam Founder and CEO Rick Triola. "Our volume of Florida RON closings is doubling almost every other day, and we have signed hundreds of new partners in the past three months. We're thankful that Florida real estate professionals have embraced RON quickly and whole-heartedly to enable their clients' transactions to proceed faster and smoother than ever before."

According to the Florida Realtors(R) association, international buyers accounted for 36,400 of all existing home sales in the state between August 2018 and July 2019, which represents $16 billion in volume. The association also estimates that the vacation/rental-home business accounted for $27.4 billion in sales within the state in 2018. In addition, Florida also has four out of the top 10 cities on the U.S. News & World Report "Best Places to Retire" list for 202), including Fort Myers at No. 1, Sarasota and No. 2, Port St. Lucie at No. 5 and Jacksonville at No. 6.

For Florida-based real estate closing attorney and NotaryCam client Jordan Lulich of Lulich Attorneys and Consultants, the availability of user-friendly technology has made RON a popular option with clients across all demographics.

"We have started offering digital real estate closings to Florida sellers and buyers. I thought this would only be popular among younger clients. However, to my surprise, even older clients have been able to successfully complete the closings through NotaryCam," Lulich said. "The technological support and guidance that is offered is really top notch, and I have only heard positive feedback from the real estate agents and clients that I work with. We continue to push all of our clients to close digitally as it makes the process easier for everyone."

"I have been part of many closings where I've had clients close in other states or areas, but never live," said Robenson Juste, a broker associate at EXP Realty and based in Indian River County, Fla., which includes Vero Beach. "Mr. Lulich was able to do an online closing with the seller. This process with Mr. Lulich was very smooth and effortless. It created a unique digital experience where we all shared the joy together even though we were all in different places, creating one happy seller experience."

"I have had on two different occasions clients who were not able to attend the in-person closings at our office," said Michael Salazar, a Miami-based broker with Luxury Property Realty. "Rather than stress about ensuring the mobile notary would be able to accommodate a mail away closing, we scheduled an online closing through NotaryCam. I was nervous at first because I can be old school in terms of having in-person closings. However, to my surprise, the process was so smooth, and even my elderly clients seemed to enjoy it. Now, whenever we get the chance, I always try to do an online closing because I enjoyed it so much"

Additionally, according to Lulich, the increase in RON activity was especially pronounced during March and into April with in-state buyers and sellers due to concerns and regulations surrounding COVID-19.

"For the past six months, I have been passionately talking about RON closings only to be faced with skepticism and reluctancy," Lulich explained. "However, now clients, customers and vendors are flocking to have their closings completed digitally. RON closings will be extremely useful and more popular in the coming weeks in light of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' stay-at-home order issued on April 1."

On March 18, U.S. Senators Mark Warner (D-Va.) and Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) introduced Senate Bill 3533, also known as the SECURE Notarization Act, which would legalize RON nationwide. The bill was introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has prompted several states and municipalities to issue "shelter-in-place" or "stay-at-home" orders and individuals to practice social distancing in an effort to slow the spread of the disease. In addition, many states have also issued temporary RON provisions to address the challenges of conducting in-person notarization transactions during the pandemic.

"Given the current climate, in-person closings simply are not an option for the foreseeable future," Triola added. "As Florida has demonstrated, the ability to conduct real estate closings remotely is critical to preventing this sector from grinding to a complete halt. NotaryCam applauds all efforts to make RON an option in all 50 states."

About NotaryCam

After pioneering the world's first multi-party/multi-state remote online notarization (RON), career real estate executive Rick Triola founded NotaryCam and completed the first mortgage remote online closing (ROC) in 2014. Today, NotaryCam is the leader in online notarization and mortgage eClosing solutions, having notarized documents worldwide for hundreds of thousands of customers in all 50 states and more than 146 countries. The company's patented eClose360(R) platform delivers the "perfect" online mortgage closing in every jurisdiction and supports all eClosing scenarios - RON, IPEN or Hybrids - with a flexible workflow for document recording and unparalleled identity verification, security and customer convenience. Top of Mind gives loan originators must-have text messaging capabilities with SurefireCRM Power Messaging

ATLANTA, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- Top of Mind Networks (Top of Mind), a leader in customer relationship management (CRM) and marketing automation software for the mortgage lending industry, today announced the release of Power Messaging, a feature that enables SurefireCRM users to deliver high-touch text communication to consumers at scale.

Power Messaging makes it easy for loan originators (LOs) to engage prospects and customers with personal and timely text message communications. LOs control when, to whom and under which circumstances messages are sent. For instance, text messages may be sent to individual recipients or to groups of contacts; they may be deployed on a one-off or recurring basis; and they can be pushed immediately or scheduled for future deployment. LOs can even automate text communication with conditional rules and advanced workflows.

Power Messaging enables delivery of long-form messages with rich content. For instance, text messages can be customized with dynamic content, multimedia and external links. Power Messaging does not require recipients to download any apps, subscribe to a cellular data plan or acquire new technology skills. LOs can receive and respond to text messages from a dedicated chat window within the SurefireCRM platform.

"The ability to communicate with consumers on a personal level, on their preferred device, is just as critical to loan officers as being able to reach broad audiences through social media and email," said Top of Mind Chief Creative Officer Sherwood Lawrence. "At Top of Mind, we take people personally. Power Messaging is not a chat bot. What we've done is scale the person behind the process, so that loan officers can meaningfully engage consumers while growing and managing their sales pipelines."

About Top of Mind Networks:

Founded in 2003, Atlanta-based Top of Mind Networks (https://www.topofmind.com) has grown from a bootstrapped post-close, follow-up solution into the leading CRM/marketing automation firm in the mortgage industry. Their Surefire platform is widely regarded as the gold standard in enterprise CRM, automating best practice throughout a borrower's prospect-to-repeat-customer lifecycle.

FormFree Expands Partnership with American Red Cross of Northeast Georgia in Celebration of 2020 Red Cross Month

ATHENS, Ga. /ScoopCloud/ -- FormFree® today announced it is celebrating Red Cross Month by expanding its long-held partnership with the American Red Cross of Northeast Georgia. FormFree will support the Northeast Georgia chapter's mission of alleviating human suffering in the face of emergencies by giving fiscal contributions and engaging in monthly acts of service throughout 2020.

In April, FormFree will kick off its expanded partnership by donating life-saving blood to help hospitals maintain a continuous supply during the novel coronavirus pandemic. "The Red Cross' mission of alleviating human suffering in the face of emergencies resonates powerfully with FormFree's culture of empathy, service and generosity," said FormFree Founder and CEO Brent Chandler. "Although we've long been a partner of the American Red Cross of Northeast Georgia, in today's uncertain environment we feel especially compelled to give back to this vital institution supporting our community."

Chartered in 1917, the American Red Cross of Northeast Georgia provides direct service to 23 Georgia counties by supporting the collection, testing and distribution of blood and blood components in the region, providing emergency resources for military families, facilitating lifesaving training in first aid, CPR and use an AED and helping people and communities impacted by disasters. Red Cross Month is a nationwide tradition begun by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1943.

"FormFree shares our passion for serving our nation's veterans and communities in need," said Marlon Trone, executive director of the American Red Cross of Northeast Georgia. "We thank them for their continual generosity and look forward to working alongside them for the betterment of our community for years to come."

FormFree has participated in numerous community awareness and service events hosted with the Red Cross of Northeast Georgia since the company's founding in 2008. Brent Chandler joined the Red Cross of Northeast Georgia's board of directors in 2017.
